“Thank you so much! This was our first experience using Rover and overall, it was a good one. Shunita was great and flexible in allowing us to come and pick them up at the end of our night so we didn’t need to leave them overnight. They were kept in kennels but Shunita said she lets them out every 2-3 hours to play in the back yard and go potty. Our puppies are on the larger size and not used to being kenneled or separated so, in the future, I will likely look for someone that allows them to join into a family atmosphere where they can roam & play freely. A smaller or older dog w/lower energy would do great, or a dog that’s used to being in a kennel. (That’s just a preference thing for the current puppies we have.) Shunita was very nice and made me feel relaxed and comfortable in leaving our puppies for the day.”

This was Mr. Bossy’s third time staying with Heather and Chris. When we dropped him off, he was very excited to be there again and ran right on in! We can tell from the photos Heather sends, he enjoys the big backyard and playing with the other dogs that also stay there via Rover. Unfortunately, Mr. Bossy escaped on the 5th night of his stay from their backyard after all dogs were let out about 10:45pm to go to the bathroom before bed. Mr. Bossy was the only dog who didn’t come back. I am still leaving five stars, though, because Heather told us right away and searched well after midnight for him, and Chris went back out at 6:45am and found him a few min later in a neighboring neighborhood. They provided photos, updates, and videos, and answered any questions I had after he was found, as I was concerned given he was out overnight. After talking with the vet, I decided it was best for him to get checked-out just in case and stay there until I returned home that day, in case there was anything not visible to the eye. I asked if they can drive him there or I could ask a friend, too. Without hesitation, Chris took him to the vet. We understand things happen. Mr. Bossy has escaped out yard a few times after a gate was left open from the gardener or LG&E, which we didn’t know about. Because Heather and Chris were swift and proactive, he was found fairly quickly. We also appreciate them communicating and taking him to the vet. They don’t know how he escaped, but they said they are re-checking the whole yard and fence line just in case and reinforcing anything that needs it. I would still leave Mr. Bossy with them in the future, if they are open to it. Thank you for finding our buddy!
Cricket absolutely loved being at Heather’s. She can be a little quirky at first with someone new but she was almost immediately comfortable with Heather. Cricket even cried when we were leaving because she didn’t want to go home. Heather provided pictures and updates to let me know how Cricket was doing. She was very accommodating on drop off and pick up time. Cricket will definitely be back to stay with Heather!
I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! They accepted my Yorkie, Luna, on very short notice and were so kind and accommodating. Luna was well cared for and even had a little friend to play with while she was there. It gave me so much peace of mind, and I would definitely trust them with her again. Highly recommend! 🐾💕
Melody was wonderful!! This is our first time having Melody watch our dogs and she made every effort to ensure our dogs and us were comfortable! She provided daily check ins a few times a day with picture and a quick update on how the pups were doing. She is incredible and we highly recommend her!
