“Morgan is wonderful! She came over for a meet-and-greet with our two older dogs a few days before she stayed at our house and they instantly loved her! She sent updates and photos and took great care of them and our home. I would definitely ask her to stay again.”

“I am so thankful to have Eyowyn care for my dogs. It was the first time leaving my Velcro pets. She worked patiently with us when we had last minute changes. She was able to calm them and they enjoyed her visits. Her confidence in being able to handle the situation allowed me to relax and enjoy my weekend away. I am so happy she will be in the area for another year!”

“I'm almost afraid to leave an honest review. BECAUSE, I WANT TO BE ABLE TO BOOK HIM AGAIN! And I don't want him to be too busy. He did a wonderful job with our dog and our house. Saxon got all the exercise he needed, then apparently slept the afternoon away. Our home looked exactly how we left it. Maybe even better. Finn came for a meet and greet with Saxon and asked great questions about what Saxon likes and does not do, or should no do. We were very pleased and would definitely book him again.”

“Amanda is the best! My dog, Samson, had really bad separation anxiety this trip. She made sure he stayed on his regular schedule and got lots of play time and love. He also got sick while I was away, and Amanda even took him to the vet for me. She always keeps me updated and sends lots of great pictures. Samson is looking forward to seeing her again!”

“Kat did an amazing job with our Opal. Lots of communication, and plenty of photos to let us know how our pup was doing. She took great care of our house as well.”

Weekends work best as I work a few hrs throughout the week but am never gone for more than 3 hrs at a time! My apartment complex is safe and also has a dog park! “Kylie was great! She was on time and professional. She cared for our dog like she was her own. She asked all the right questions and sent us updates during the time we were gone!”

“Cameron was amazing with our 2 Great Danes and cat! She took them to the dog park and on lots of walks! Lots of pictures were shared and we came back to healthy, happy animals!”

About: Hi, I’m Amber! I’m a lifelong animal lover based in Harrisonburg, VA, offering dependable care for dogs and cats of all breeds and ages. Whether your pet is a high-energy pup or a calm senior cat, I adapt to their unique needs and routines to keep them happy and stress-free while you're away. I offer dog walking, house sitting, and drop-in visits—all in your home, where your pet feels safest. I work remotely and is I do need to travel for work it is always in the area and I know in advance, so I’m able to be present and flexible when caring for your pet. My approach is simple: I follow your pet’s usual schedule—walks, meals, meds, naps, even bedtime cuddles—so they feel secure and loved. Your pet is my priority when they’re in my care, and I treat every visit like I’m caring for my own. Let’s set up a meet-and-greet—I’d love to get to know you and your pet! I work from home with a flexible schedule and can usually adjust my day around your pet’s needs. I do travel occasionally, but I always know my plans in advance and won’t take on bookings I can’t fully commit to. Feel free to message me—I'm happy to confirm specific dates or times! I believe pets feel safest and happiest in their own familiar environment, so I provide care exclusively in your home. I’m respectful of your space and always aim to leave things just as I found them—or better. Whether I’m dropping in, walking your dog, or staying overnight, I stick closely to your pet’s routine so they stay comfortable and relaxed. I take the time to learn each pet’s preferences, habits, and quirks, and I always prioritize their safety, well-being, and happiness. You can count on regular updates, photos, and honest communication while you’re away, so you have peace of mind knowing your pet is in caring hands.

“Aamirah is wonderful!! She was an absolute delight to work with- very sweet, kind, and responsible. I would absolutely book her again!”

“Valerie was great with our 2 mischievous german shepherds! She provided daily updates and a lot of great photos. I would definitely book with her again and recommend to those looking for an overnight sitter!”

“Marley provided excellent care for Barry. Previously, Barry had a negative experience with another petsitter who left her alone for too long, despite clear instructions not to. However, Marley, while not staying overnight, ensured that Barry received ample companionship and playtime. I noticed no signs of anxiety in Barry that were present with past sitters while Marley was in charge. When I returned, I found Barry to be a content and happy dog, clearly well cared for by Marley. Additionally, Marley adhered closely to the care instructions for Barry, and also took great care of my apartment. I wholeheartedly recommend her without any reservations.”

About: I have owned varying pets throughout my whole life; rabbits, hamsters, dogs, and cats. I'm responsible, attentive, and genuinely love animals, which makes me a great choice for pet sitting. I understand how important it is to follow routines, provide companionship, and keep pets safe and comfortable while their owners are away. Whether it's walking, feeding, playing, or just keeping them company, I make sure pets feel happy and cared for. I also have a green thumb, so if you need me to water any plants while you're out, just ask! I currently have a full time job, so a majority of my openings will be on the weekends. However during the summer I am available between the hours of 4pm and 7am to take care of your pets. I will always keep them on a leash, if out for a walk. And if you need something specific done, just send me a message!

About: I have grown up in a pet friendly household and taken care of my neighbors pets frequently. I love being around both cats and dogs! I am on summer break so I have a lot of free time! I have an internship that is very flexible and once a week (ending soon though) but other than that I currently do not have any other things that interfere with my schedule. I like to create an environment for pets where they feel comfortable and relaxed. I love giving them lots of toys and playing with them, but knowing when to give them space or let them nap. I also love taking them on long walks or just giving them lots of pets :)

About: I grew up with a variety of animals, including several senior dogs. I fostered several dogs through the SPCA throughout my time in college, and am comfortable with a variety of behavioral and medical needs. I currently have two dogs of my own, one of which is a rescue. I work remotely, so I’m flexible to check on your furry friends throughout the day. If I do have standing weekly meetings, I’ll be sure to communicate those times so you know when I’ll be by. I do not do sitting in my home due to the reactivity of one of my dogs. I am very conscientious and careful with pets, and will make sure to watch your pet with a close eye, crate when needed, and utilize leash and outdoor safety skills when outside of your home.

About: I'm friendly with all kinds of pets, both kitties and doggos, I have a very peaceful home very welcoming to new critters. Plenty of room to run around and exercise. Currently working part-time for the summer, can easily give your fur baby's the attention they need whenever you're busy or out of town. Plenty of space behind the house to get them lots of exercise. “Moriah combines adroit technical expertise with amazing cat whisperer mojo. Our cat Casino needs to use an Aerokat steroid inhaler to control his severe asthma. (Steroid pills have twice given him diabetes.) It took me months to get to the point where Casino would sit beside me and take nine breaths while I held a rubber mask over his face. It’s tricky, and you can’t force it, because if he has an aversive experience, next time he may refuse altogether. Moriah had never used an Aerokat before. Although Moriah uses a similar device with her daughter, and has a lot of veterinary experience, our vet was skeptical, and advised that Moriah come over several times before we left, to learn and practice with Casino. This was not possible. Moriah said to just send her a video showing what Casino and I do with the Aerokat. So we did. Our first night on the road, Moriah sent a video of herself and Casino using the Aerokat PERFECTLY, all 9 breaths!!! In other matters too, she did a great job assessing and handling the situation. I would trust her to look after any special needs animal.”
