“10/10 I never felt more confident leaving my pet somewhere before. They kept me up to date with how she was doing. They sent pictures and asked questions about how I did certain things. It was a great experience not only for me but for my sweet dog. She came home happy and unfazed that I left her there for a few nights.”

“We used Jennifer's services for an overnight stay at her home. Jennifer was great to work with and very flexible around our schedule. Our pup Sadie had a great time! I would definitely use Jennifer again.”

“Tracey was great! She helped us out with a last min stay and took such great care of our dood, Miko. She sent plenty of updates and photos, and he came home happy, tired, and clearly well loved. So thankful for her flexibility and the care she gave him. Would absolutely book again!”

“Tammy does a great job with a new "visitor" he was not nervous because she made our little guy feel very comfortable. We have used Tammy's services several times and will keep doing so.”

“Yu was exactly what we were looking for. She opened her home and land to allow our dogs a fun overnight experience. Yu walked the dogs often, allowed them to sleep in her home and kept us up to date with pictures of them. We left the dogs feeling confident they were well taken care of.”

“Bailey was amazing! We had a new puppy and this was his first time staying anywhere. Bailey was extremely communicative, quick to respond with any questions, and a wealth of knowledge. Our boy had so much fun, we’d love to come back sometime ❤️”

“Amy was INCREDIBLE!!!! We have never done something like Rover before and let me tell you, if Amy isn’t available we will be moving our vacation around her schedule, she was so good!!!!! She sent updates throughout the day, everyday! Lots of videos and pictures as well! Our Willow got soooo much interaction with her dogs and other dogs, it was perfect for her!! We are so thankful we have found someone we can trust with our Willow! Thank you so much again Amy!!! Willow already misses Koda haha!”

“Brian and Yui and their extended dog family and friends were excellent hosts. Our dog Misty is an only-dog and hasn't been exposed to other dogs for long periods of time. Because of that, along with her being in a new place and being (seemingly) deserted by us, we were pretty nervous about leaving her with anyone. Brian and Yui put our fears to rest during a Meet & Greet, and we left town feeling very comfortable with our decision. We knew that not only would she be safe, healthy and supervised, but she would also be loved and cared for--certainly not lonely! Still, every so often on our trip, we'd start feeling a little guilty. Then we'd get a video of Misty running around in the dog park or stretched out on the sofa with the littler dogs cuddled around her. It is very apparent that Brian and Yui are committed to their roles as canine caretakers. We couldn't be happier with their care of our dog. So glad they're affiliated with DogVacay or we would never have found them! The Roys”

“We were nervous leaving our shy girl with someone while we traveled. Dahlia was kind, patient, and excellent with communicating little updates (ex. she ate all her dinner, she’s been stealthily playing when she thinks no one is watching, etc) . She really set our mind at ease. I would ask her to cat sit again without any hesitation.”

“Anna was superb with our two dogs! They have a lot of energy and she was able to keep them happy, entertained, and still remembering their training. She sends timely videos and pictures so you can see your pets are happy. We'd highly recommend Anna for all of your pet sitting needs.”

“Jess did an amazing job with our dog! He is normally reactive with most other dogs. She was able to acclimate our dog with her other dogs and they ended up getting along so well. She also did a great job with communication. Our buddy came home so happy and you could tell he was very loved. I will absolutely use her again. I could not recommend her enough!”

“Rene was fabulous with my little morkie Stella! She sent me multiple updates a day as well as pictures. I will be using Rene again in the future and recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter!”

“Our dachshunds spent a week at a resort! They were pampered and loved, spoiled rotten and loved the heated blanket. I can’t say enough great things about these amazing people and their children who took such great care of our Doxies - I’m not sure they wanted to leave!!!”

“Tara texted us the same night after we dropped our critters off at her house to let us know they were doing great. She even shared sweet details about how they were reacting and settling in with her. If I ever need to leave them again, I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to have them stay with her. As a former foster and someone who’s worked with a dog rescue, I can tell her heart is truly devoted to animals—honestly, I think she might even prefer their company to people!”

“Mark and Gretchen took great care of Palmer while we were gone. We had never left him with anyone before and were a little nervous about how he would do. I'm amazed that they made it through the first night with him and didn't call us asking to come pick him up! :) We were so thankful to know he was being taken good care of. Gretchen sent a few pictures twice a day, which was really helpful to know he was having a good time. Their communication was and has been great. We will definitely use them again!”

“Tiffany did a wonderful job with our Evie. She sent regular updates and pictures throughout the week. Her home was very tidy, and she made a special space for Evie. When we picked her up, her kitty box had been cleaned, and all of her belongings were well organized. Evie is very shy, but she seemed to do well at Tiffany's home. We will definitely use her again, and we recommend her highly.”

“Stosh is great! My dog loves staying at his house and all the walks and play time he gets with him. It’s a bonus that my dog is so calm when I pick him up. I’m definitely booking all his stays with Stosh.”

“Lauren and hubby took very good care of our furbaby. They treated him like family and kept us posted with updates and lots of pictures. We will definitely use her again for doggy sitting!”

“Nataly is AMAZING! We are extremely happy with how she took care of Tyson and Fifi! We have had many sitters and never went back, but will only be using Natalie from now on! Thank you Nataly!”
“I had a wonderful experience with my pet sitter. She was attentive, reliable, and kept me updated throughout the stay with regular photos and messages, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. My dogs looked happy and relaxed in every picture, and it was clear they were well cared for and having a great time. I truly appreciate her professionalism and the genuine care she showed for my pets. I will definitely be using her services again in the future.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Broadnax
Lindsay, Chris, and their family were wonderful hosts for our dog! We had such peace of mind knowing he was in their care. Their communication was excellent, and the photos they sent reassured us that he was in a loving, caring environment. Thank you so much for taking such great care of him! We highly recommend them!

Lindsay, Chris, and their beautiful family are absolutely amazing. I needed to board our pup, Dax, for a few days very last minute. They worked with me through the process and were very communicative! While I was away, they always sent photo and video updates of our boy having such a good time. I would HIGHLY recommend using them for any dog sitting/boarding needs.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Broadnax home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Broadnax.
<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Broadnax sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
