About: I know that you have many options for care. I have been working through Rover since early 2020 and would like to share some information about myself. I made the decision to take an early retirement after twenty-two years at Northwestern State University when my husband and I relocated to Shreveport and both of our children went off to college. This move gave me the opportunity to pursue a job that I ❤️ and am passionate about. I believe dogs and cats are the most awesome of Earth's creatures, and, in my eyes, are such precious members of our families. I am a long-time dog and cat owner and currently a parent to three rescued dogs. I also was an active volunteer and Board Member for Natchitoches Hope for Paws dog rescue from 2012 to 2022. During this time, I worked with 150+ rescued dogs at the site and through the foster program. I found so much pleasure and enjoyment working as a rescue volunteer and wanted to expand my love and care of these most precious of animals. As a volunteer, I cleaned kennels, administered medications, walked and played with dogs, worked with basic training techniques and leash walking, and evaluated and monitored dog behaviors and personalities for proper socialization and integration with other dogs including aggressive and high anxiety dogs. I treat all animals as if they are my own. I love all fur babies big, small, young, and old. I am available at any time and since I am retired, I am able to provide drop-in services, walks, and overnight care (for socialized and house trained dogs who are current on all shots and flea/tick preventives), including medication administration and care for aggressive and high-anxiety dogs. I have no problems with cleaning up accidents and will ensure that your home stays clean of messes. I am also a firm believer in sending pictures while you are away so you can be comforted that your dog (or cat) is receiving nothing but the upmost care and love while you are away. No requested service is to great or small! I would welcome the opportunity to help you with care needs for your fur babies! Since I am retired, I am available at any time for drop-ins, walks, and overnight boarding (socialized and house trained only). I am also able to work around flexible and changing schedules. I live in a house with a large fully fenced backyard and have a doggy door which allows the dogs to move freely in and out of the house as they desire.

About: I have 4 dogs of my own and one cat. I have cared for pets as long as I can remember. My dogs are all house trained and crate trained they also are well mannered and like other pets. I can house train and also train dogs to do certain tricks. I'm 27 years old and own my own home with a large fenced in back yard. My house has no carpet so accidental pet messes can be cleaned easily. I have my own transportation to house sit or dog walk any time I am needed. Thank you for considering me for taking care of your pets I currently work full time split shifts so I can take care of animals between shifts before shifts and after shifts. I have reliable transportation to and from also I have a large fenced in back yard and I currently work in the animal field so I am trained on medication management and also have vet tech experience.

About: Pet sitting is awesome because I want to spend time with as many wonderful pets as I can. I'll treat them just as well as I would like my pets to be treated since I know how important they are. Prior to Good Dog, I would pet sit for family, friends and neighbors. They deserve the best care even the little rambunctious ones. I have been working and volunteering in pet care for years. About: I love all dogs. I have had many years of experience in having dogs and taking care of dogs. I have a male and female Golden Retriever. They gets along with other dogs and love to play and meet new friends. I will take on walks everyday and include lots of playtime. They will be well taken care of and loved while staying at my place. They will always get full attention. I suggest bringing their favorite toys so they will be comfortable and have a fun time. I will accommodate with any needs for your loving animals. I will take great care of your fur baby! I have a flexible schedule with school and work, so I can work around the dog’s needs. I always walk in the morning and evening. I provide play and feeding time appropriately for dog’s needs. I incorporate play time inside and outside based on the weather. I will take on walks daily.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since a little toddler my family has always been big on having our little farm of pets and I wouldn’t ask for it any other way. Pet care fits into my daily routine because after a long day at work or in general looking forward to seeing those cute smiling faces will always make the day so much better. Caring for pets in my home consists of having big back yards, cozy areas for them inside and making sure treats and food bowls are full all the time for them to nibble on.

About: I am a huge animal lover. I have 3 dogs, 2 cats, a bearded dragon, a snail and a fish. I love to play fetch with my doggies and love on my kitties. Our bearded dragon is a blast to feed and watch crawl all over the floor. My pets are not pets, they are family. The sleep in my bed and are treated like one of my kids. We love our animals so much when we my kids talk to them they call them bubba and sissy. I absolutely love being around animals. I know how it is to be away from home and wonder how my babies are doing or wish I was home to walk them or take them out to potty so I would love to help other pet owners and give them a piece of mind that their babies are in great hands!!!

About: It can be really hard with work or other responsibilities to spoil your pet like you want too. Let me help! I’ve grown up with pets all my life. Currently, I have a miniature schnauzer mix. His name is Teddy! He’s super sweet and he’s spoiled rotten! He’s pretty small but I’ve kept dogs of all sizes. Big or small, I got you. If it’s a drop in just to check, or you need me to watch them for a week while you go on vacation. I can help! I have a fenced yard now and your pup will have a friend. His name is a Teddy, he’s a miniature schnauzer and he loves to play! My daughter also loves all the animals that comes to visit, so expect your pet to be a little spoiled to her when you return! I finally finished my nursing program! YAY! Nurse Beth has a nice ring to it! Thank all of y’all for all the wonderful support. However, that means I won’t have as much time to take care of all your sweet doggies. I am more than happy to keep your pet but please understand I will no longer be home all day. I have some help at home so I’ll still be overseeing the care of my regulars when I am able too. I have a fenced in back yard and a sunroom that’s heated and cooled! They are also allowed in my home and on furniture unless otherwise notified!

While my home does not have a fenced-in yard, I am highly experienced in safely managing outdoor time using a leash to ensure your pet gets the necessary exercise and potty breaks in a secure, controlled manner. I am also comfortable with crating and strictly following your established house rules to maintain your pet's comfort and safety. Furthermore, I am completely flexible and happy to provide pet-sitting services directly in your home, allowing your pet to remain in their familiar environment, which is often the most stress-free experience for them. I do not have any animals currently of my own.
