About: I know that you have many options for care. I have been working through Rover since early 2020 and would like to share some information about myself. I made the decision to take an early retirement after twenty-two years at Northwestern State University when my husband and I relocated to Shreveport and both of our children went off to college. This move gave me the opportunity to pursue a job that I ❤️ and am passionate about. I believe dogs and cats are the most awesome of Earth's creatures, and, in my eyes, are such precious members of our families. I am a long-time dog and cat owner and currently a parent to three rescued dogs. I also was an active volunteer and Board Member for Natchitoches Hope for Paws dog rescue from 2012 to 2022. During this time, I worked with 150+ rescued dogs at the site and through the foster program. I found so much pleasure and enjoyment working as a rescue volunteer and wanted to expand my love and care of these most precious of animals. As a volunteer, I cleaned kennels, administered medications, walked and played with dogs, worked with basic training techniques and leash walking, and evaluated and monitored dog behaviors and personalities for proper socialization and integration with other dogs including aggressive and high anxiety dogs. I treat all animals as if they are my own. I love all fur babies big, small, young, and old. I am available at any time and since I am retired, I am able to provide drop-in services, walks, and overnight care (for socialized and house trained dogs who are current on all shots and flea/tick preventives), including medication administration and care for aggressive and high-anxiety dogs. I have no problems with cleaning up accidents and will ensure that your home stays clean of messes. I am also a firm believer in sending pictures while you are away so you can be comforted that your dog (or cat) is receiving nothing but the upmost care and love while you are away. No requested service is to great or small! I would welcome the opportunity to help you with care needs for your fur babies! Since I am retired, I am available at any time for drop-ins, walks, and overnight boarding (socialized and house trained only). I am also able to work around flexible and changing schedules. I live in a house with a large fully fenced backyard and have a doggy door which allows the dogs to move freely in and out of the house as they desire.

About: What sets me apart is my experience managing a multi-pet household every day. I share my home with two large-breed dogs, 2 adult cats, 3 kittens, 3 hermit crabs, & 2 large fish tank. (With hopes for many more) I’ve trained my pets myself, including basic obedience, leash manners, and household boundaries. I’m confident reinforcing training for puppies and maintaining structure for adult dogs. I also have experience caring for a large dog with anxiety and arthritis who requires medication, mobility support, and occasional lifting during flare ups. Because of this, I understand how to be patient with dogs experiencing anxiety, discomfort, or mobility challenges. I have a dog ramp available and am comfortable administering pills and liquid medications. Having worked and saved for my first puppy in middle school, caring for animals has always been something I’ve taken seriously. I treat every pet in my care with the same attentiveness, structure, and compassion that I give my own. I have a strong passion for animals and hope to one day have my own homestead! For the anxious pet parents, I also have cameras so make sure they’re supervised at all times. Safety is very important to me and I will make sure your baby is taken care of! Pet care is a full time priority for me, and I’m happy to accommodate flexible schedules, last minute visits, and holiday care. Whether it’s daily walks, drop ins, or overnight stays, I’m committed to providing consistent, reliable, and attentive care for every pet in my care. In my care, pets’ safety and comfort are my top priorities. I do my best to accommodate and take care of every pets needs around me.

About: I absolutely love dogs. I have always had dogs myself and growing up we did as well. I have previously worked at an animal hospital and gained a lot of knowledge. I am the type of person that gets really worried to leave my dogs with anyone while we are gone, so I want to be that safe space for someone that may be experiencing the same. I am big on updating and sending pics/texts during my time with your pup. I work full time remotely at home. I have flexibility with my job and am able to stop by throughout the day during the week. I can make any time on the weekends work! I am open to anything that you prefer in your home or if your pup has a special way of doing things - just let me know!

About: I have 4 dogs of my own and one cat. I have cared for pets as long as I can remember. My dogs are all house trained and crate trained they also are well mannered and like other pets. I can house train and also train dogs to do certain tricks. I'm 27 years old and own my own home with a large fenced in back yard. There is only one other person living in my home and they are only home after 5 pm. My house has no carpet so accidental pet messes can be cleaned easily. I have my own transportation to house sit or dog walk any time I am needed. Thank you for considering me for taking care of your pets I currently work full time split shifts so I can take care of animals between shifts before shifts and after shifts. I have reliable transportation to and from also I have a large fenced in back yard and I currently work in the animal field so I am trained on medication management and also have vet tech experience.

About: I love all dogs. I have had many years of experience in having dogs and taking care of dogs. I have a male and female Golden Retriever. They gets along with other dogs and love to play and meet new friends. I will take on walks everyday and include lots of playtime. They will be well taken care of and loved while staying at my place. They will always get full attention. I suggest bringing their favorite toys so they will be comfortable and have a fun time. I will accommodate with any needs for your loving animals. I will take great care of your fur baby! I have a flexible schedule with school and work, so I can work around the dog’s needs. I always walk in the morning and evening. I provide play and feeding time appropriately for dog’s needs. I incorporate play time inside and outside based on the weather. I will take on walks daily.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since a little toddler my family has always been big on having our little farm of pets and I wouldn’t ask for it any other way. Pet care fits into my daily routine because after a long day at work or in general looking forward to seeing those cute smiling faces will always make the day so much better. Caring for pets in my home consists of having big back yards, cozy areas for them inside and making sure treats and food bowls are full all the time for them to nibble on.
