Hello! My name is Alyssa Darlington, I’m originally from Toronto, Canada but I have lived in Shreveport, LA for ten years. I love caring for pets and have been a professional pet sitter for seven years. I own two rambunctious, fun loving Brittany Spaniels, named Humphrey and Georgia Mae and a sweet golden-doodle who we adopted a year and a half ago. They are 9, 8 and 4 years old and know nothing about personal space :) I have grown up with dogs my whole life so I treat all dogs as my own and have a huge heart for them! I am a stay at home mom, but if I am out walking a dog, my husband will be home. I can provide walks or runs during the day and playtime with the pups in our large fenced backyard where they have plenty of room to roam. I have three very energetic kids who love to play with the dogs and will keep your fur babies very active! I am available any day of the week unless we go out of town on vacation (one week in the summer). I believe that dogs are social beings; I fulfil their desire to interact with humans in a family environment and other dogs. My mission is to provide dogs with a safe, happy, and healthy environment.

Alyssa is the sweetest!! We had to cut our trip short and pick up our pups early but they had a blast with her!! Absolutely recommend her and would love to have her watch them if we needed anyone again. Such a blessing!

Schedule
This is my full-time job so I’m home majority of the time, minus dog walks and getting the kiddos from school. I love hanging out with them outside, throwing the ball.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a huge fenced in yard and two pups to keep your pups company and have fun! We treat them like our own! They have full access to our living room, kitchen, dining room. We also have a converted garage that is our grandparents suite with a bed, couch, tv and ac. In the fall/winter I leave the door open so when they are outside they have access to that!
Pets
A typical day
I have a big fenced in yard the dogs can play and run around in. There are also a lot of toys to play with inside and outside. I have a big fan outside on the deck for when it is hot outside when they want to play outside, I also have a kiddie pool the dogs like to play in. Myself and my kids love to play with the dogs, take them on walks and just have fun! Your dog will have its own vacation while you are away :)
