About: Hello there! My name is Sammy and I have been around animals all of my life and they have inspired me in so many different ways. I have been managing doggy daycare/boarding facilities for a little over 3 years now so I guess you can say pet care is my specialty! I am dog and cat CPR certified, certified through the DHA (dog handler academy),I know how to give injections, and my knowledge on dog behavior is quite extensive. I have decided to go back to school as well which is why my schedule is so open. Currently I own a 2 year old Golden Retriever as well as the cutest cat ever that are both my world. About: I’ve been caring for animals for over 20 years — not just as a sitter, but as a lifelong animal person. I live with two cats and two dogs (aka my little chaos crew), and I’ve been through it all: administering meds, soothing anxious pups, helping senior pets feel safe and loved, and even caring for a dog with epilepsy. I know how to read their body language, honor their boundaries, and make every visit feel like a familiar, comforting ritual. I also rescue animals when I see them in need — whether that’s coaxing a stray into safety, getting them vet care, or helping them find their forever home. I don’t just like animals — I see them, respect them, and care deeply about their safety, happiness, and autonomy. When your pet is with me, they’re not just getting fed and walked. They’re getting a friend, an advocate, and someone who truly gets them. I work from home and have a lot of flexibility. I would prefer long standing customers with at least one weekly walk to stay on my schedule. I do have a fenced in yard we could use for play. Though I would prefer to take dogs for walks in their neighborhoods or at the river. I am happy to play fetch, tug, go on long hikes, or take short strolls. Each animal must have their collar on with their owner's information.

About: I love absolutely love dogs! I work from home as a Generative AI associate so my schedule is very flexible and ideal for taking care of your dog when you're busy or away. I'm available mornings, afternoons, or evenings, basically whenever you need. And my apartment is located in Shockhoe Bottom near two parks, ideal for walks. I grew up with Lhasa Apso pups (Cassie and Teddy) and have been dog-sitting and dog-walking for about 5 years. I've taken care of a variety of breeds, ranging from a Chinese crested to a boxer-pitbull mix. I'm a very compassionate, gentle, and patient person. About: I have had dogs, cats and birds my entire life. I will treat your fur babies as I would treat my own. Nothing but love I am at home all day as I am an artist. And work from home. I work out of the home 3 evenings a week. I have a large back yard. It is not fenced in but I do have a 25ft lead or I can simply walk them. I have 2 pet parakeets and a Great Dane that recently went to heaven at almost 12. Pets are always allowed on my couches and beds and I miss the snuggles.

About: Hi, I'm Miki! I've had dogs my whole life, and adopted one of my very own (Scout) about 4 years ago! With several years of personal and professional experience, I'm confident I can provide a happy and safe space for your pet. :) As a dog owner, I know how hard it can be to find someone you trust with your pet, and my goal is to give my client's peace of mind knowing that their babies are being cared for just as I would my own dog! At the moment, I only host one dog at a time to make sure they get my full attention (or two from the same household). I have a ton of experience and knowledge with dogs, but particularly anxious/reactive dogs and am always happy to accommodate any special needs/requests. I work from home a few days a week and have an open weekend schedule, so Scout and I would love having another friend around to keep us company! We typically go on a minimum of 3 walks a day (morning, afternoon and night) for anywhere from 20 minutes- 1+ hours. Between walks, I have plenty of toys and mentally stimulating gadgets that Scout would be happy to share. :) While I don't have a yard, my neighborhood is the perfect dog-friendly spot with lots of trails, streams and parks! If your dog is hanging with us, you can expect an itinerary full of very dog centered activities (as usual) haha. I'm experienced working with low and high energy dogs and more than happy to follow your dogs typical schedule- whatever that may be! To maintain safe and calm environment for all pets, I do require that dogs are crate trained and feel comfortable being crated if I need to leave the house for a short time.

About: I'm a professional dog trainer, and I've been working with animals professionally for over 10 years, and I have had dogs and cats in my family ever since I was born, and grew up training and walking them. I have had the pleasure of having two golden retrievers, a border collie, and now I have a 4 year old black lab named Rosie, and tortoiseshell cat who acts like a dog. Even though I train dogs and their humans, I walk dogs as supplemental income, and I would love to meet your little (or big) bundles of joy! I’m currently self-employed, so my schedule varies. But I am typically available on Mondays and Thursdays, but I will update my schedule weekly or monthly to reflect what my schedule really looks like. I have the experience to exercise dogs who are a little more on the high-energy side, or dogs who just want to sniff everything outside for a while and then get some pets and snuggles.

About: I treat each pet as an individual first, catering to their specific needs. I provide care, attention, and of course, love as if they were my own friends, hoping that they will be soon. Rover is my current focus; your pet will receive as much attention as they need. With a flexible schedule, I can come to you or have them come to me. There's a large unfenced back yard, quick access to the river, and nature walks on Belle Isle. I provide a clean and well thermoregulated house for the hot summer months, with a room dedicated just for the pets, though not restricting them to the room.

About: I have always had pets growing up from dogs of different sizes to bunnies and bird. Recently I have been taking care of my dog Dutch. He suffered from seizures all his life, so I have experience in bigger dogs and one with health issues. I have full availability. It may change due possibly picking up a part time job as I am preparing for a year long college course. Putting my dog through behavioral courses has helped me with heel training. So walking dogs of any size won't be an issue for me. Especially with it being so hot recently making sure the asphalt isn't too hot and not keeping dogs out for too long.

If your pet isn't the most sociable, no worries at all—I can easily separate them to ensure everyone feels comfortable. In some cases, my dog may not be with me, so just let me know, and I’ll be all theirs for the day! Your pet's happiness and well-being are my top priority! If there’s a moment where I have to leave I can crate the baby if that’s okay with the owner but I will make sure that it isn’t super long. I’m pretty flexible throughout the week to look after your pet, so just let me know and we should be able to work something out. I live in a nice neighborhood. Many of neighbors have pets. Plenty of space for them to play and take them out for walks at anytime. I also have a nice fenced in backyard for the pups to run around in. In home I have plenty of room for them to roam as they please I don’t mind them on my furniture. I’m also flexible to look after the owners dogs at their space or just drop in for a little walk.
