“Isabella was so great with our Kitty! She was very communicative and sent lots of pictures throughout our trip. She even made sure to provide detailed updates of Kitty's mood and behaviors during her visits. We will definitely be booking her again for future trips!”

“Lauren was awesome on drop in visits and walks for us. Great communicator who let us know about a plumbing issue that arose while we were gone. We were very happy we booked again with her.”

“Donai was exceptional! I knew when she came to meet Alice and Hank and she got on the floor to meet them, and asked for some treats to win them over, that she had already won over my approval. She gave me daily updates and daily pictures. It made me so happy on my trip to both see them, and also see that they were being well cared for and loved. Would definitely book Donai again!!”

“Alan was excellent with my cat's and provided great communication! Rory is usually very shy and won't come out for anybody but he was able to coax him out and give him some pets! 🥰”

“Taylor did a wonderful job with our dog, Louie! She sent lots of photos and responded quickly! We felt like Louie was well cared for and loved on while we were gone. Would definitely recommend and will rebook in the future!”

“Mariah was wonderful! She took care of my 2 kitty fur babies when my husband and I visited our daughter in Nashville. She did an excellent job feeding them, making sure their feeders were working for other feedings, gave them clean water, cleaned their litter boxes and played with them. I strongly recommend her!”
“Heather was awesome! Our cat loved her and she spent a lot of time with her and she really built a relationship with her in a short amount of time. Would highly recommend!!!”
“We couldn’t be happier with the care that Mary provides for our dog. Bodger aka Huevo absolutely loves her and it’s clear that Mary genuinely cares about the animals she watches. She has also been incredibly flexible and accommodating with our changing work schedules which has been such a help Because our dog is a rescue finding someone we could completely trust was extremely important to us. Mary exceeded our expectations and gave us peace of mind from the very beginning. Knowing Huevo is safe and happy and well cared for when we’re away is priceless. We highly recommend Mary to anyone looking for a dependable and caring and trustworthy dog sitter!”

“Bayley did a great job with all 3 of our dogs! She came over in the morning for breakfast; as we needed help because our reg dog-sitter's schedule changed. She jumped right in and was very flexible! Def will use Bayley again!!”

About: What started off as a favor for a friend turned into a genuine love for all pets. As a pet owner myself, I understand the guilt and sadness that comes with leaving your fur baby with a stranger, so it is my mission to make sure that the owner as well as the pet feel comfortable enough to put their trust in me. I am a student with a part time job. I have available time for any animal with any need. Evenings or even night walks are perfect. Boundaries are important, not only for the owner before the pet as well. That is always my top priority. As well as treating a pet as my own.
“Liz was great watching our puppy!! This is our second time booking her. She took him on walks and sent so many pictures. She’s the only one that gives us true peace of mind when out of town. We will 100% book again, thank you liz!!!”

“Sam is the best! She cares for our three kitties as though they are her own. Our girls aren't the easiest, they come with lots of instructions and they each have their own distinct personalities and Sam loves each of them just the way they are and does such a good job every time we book her. Thank you!”

“Rachael was great. She was on-time, loving to my Annie and easy to work with. I will certainly use her as a cat sitter again and recommend her to others.”

About: Howdy, I’m Zoë, a recent graduate of Syracuse University. Between my siblings and me, I grew up with almost every pet imaginable, including dogs, cats, fish, rats, chameleons, and an axolotl. I freelance and substitute teach during the school year, but my schedule for the summer is completely open. I update my schedule weekly in case anything comes up. My rule is that I always leave spaces cleaner than I found them. Although I cannot accommodate pets due to my apartment’s rules on pets, I am more than happy to provide for your pets, either in your home or by driving your dog to one of Louisville’s many parks.

“Sara spent lots of time with our anxious senior kitty and coaxed him gently into coming downstairs and getting some pets each day. We appreciated the high level of care and interaction. We returned home to a calm and relaxed cat and a clean litter box.”

About: I have experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities—from playful puppies to seniors and everything in between. Through my work at an animal shelter, I’ve gained experience with dogs of all types of behaviors, including shy, nervous, high-energy, and more challenging dogs who need extra patience and understanding. I believe every dog deserves to feel safe, respected, and loved. I take the time to learn each dog’s personality, comfort level, and needs so I can provide the best care possible. Whether your dog loves adventures, needs a little extra reassurance, or just wants a calm companion, I’ll treat them with the same patience and care I give every animal I work with. I go into work most mornings at 8 and am happy to drop by and let your dog out to potty before work. I get an hour lunch, so I’m happy to run out for potty breaks while on my lunch. I get off at 5pm every evening so anytime after that I’m free to do anything necessary. I crate my current pets and will have space to keep them seperate if needed. I do currently have a cat and any dog that enters my home will need to be cat friendly or otherwise crate trained so each animal can have time away from each other.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Broad Fields
Taylor and Kyle were exceptional with our pets while we were gone on a vacation for 9 days. They sent so many photos and you could tell our pets were very happy and felt cared for and loved while we were away. I will definitely be working with him in the future.

Rhonda is an absolute gem! She followed our care instructions to a T, and every visit came with thoughtful updates and sweet little descriptions of what my baby girl was up to. The photos she sent were seriously amazing, I looked forward to every single one. It’s clear she genuinely loves the fur babies she cares for. I’d rebook with Rhonda in a heartbeat and recommend her without hesitation!

Sam cared for our cat Pookie while my wife and I were on vacation. She shared comprehensive updates every day to show that food, water, and litter were taken care of. Our primary concern while away was that Pookie would be lonely. Sam went above and beyond making sure that Pookie was played with and loved on. The hardest part of going on vacation is having to leave Pookie at home, but Sam’s attentiveness and dedication allowed us to have the peace of mind that Pookie was well cared for while we were away!

Isabella was so great with our Kitty! She was very communicative and sent lots of pictures throughout our trip. She even made sure to provide detailed updates of Kitty's mood and behaviors during her visits. We will definitely be booking her again for future trips!

Rachael was very professional, communicative, and caring for our kitty cat, Remy, while we were on vacation. He was very happy with the care she provided, and he was well-fed and well-loved while we were gone. We will definitely request her services for our next trip!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Broad Fields. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
