“Kim was so sweet with my babies and they loved her immediately, which is not common for my pups. She saved me in a pinch after I moved, took great care of my girls, and gave me peace of mind knowing they were in great hands!! I’d recommend Kim without any hesitation!!”

About: I love all animals! I have previously owned and trained a Belgian Malinois rescue and a lab/pit rescue. Both wonderful dogs. I am a navy vet, dog owner and dog lover. I use positive reinforcement training methods, and I know how to read the body languages of animals. I am respectful, neat, and I'll make sure you pet is well taken care of! I offer dog sitting, and occasional boarding services. You can rest easy with the knowledge that if you hire me, they will be my number one priority. I will communicate at least once a day, and more if requested. I live in an apartment and WFH full time, so I'll be able to provide ample attention to your dog! Not that they might need it because my puppy Orion will be begging them to play nonstop! I monitor play time continuously to make sure they get along well. Sometimes if a client's dog DOESN'T want to play I make sure Orion leaves them alone. He'll just be whining on the couch. No matter the size of your dog, I'll make sure they are safe and comfortable. Orion has had experience playing with 100lb German shepherds and snauzers to mini pinchers. He loves all dogs that will play with him.

“Lisa made everything so easy for us! She was super reliable, sent great updates and photos, and really took excellent care of our pup (who is still learning manners and can be pretty energetic!). We really appreciate Lisa’s good communication and quality care - highly recommend!”

About: Hello there, I have just retired and have a lot of time to stop by and check in or walk your furry pets. We have a place between Silverdale and Poulsbo and I have had cats and dogs most of my life. Currently have three cats and one German Shorthair Pointer who I spend a lot of time exercising and walking. We have lots of animals on our small Poulsbo plot and with growing up around farms in MN, I have lots of experience with animals and would never want to be without them. I know what it is like to go on vacation and have to find someone to feed all my furry family so if I can help with that I am willing!!!!! Currently I am free for stop in visits or dog walks Monday thru Saturday. I am free from early in the morning until 7pm at night. I used Rover myself when in need it for visits before I retired due to my long days at work. We have someone we trusted come in our house from Rover to check in on our GSP and our Cats.

About: I grew up with dogs, and have been a dog sitter for friends and family for as long as I can remember. As a teen, I didn't babysit much, but I would often dog sit for the neighbors. I can't wait to go for walks, play fetch, and cuddle up with your fur babies. Dogs have always loved me, and I love dogs! I'm very good at understanding a dog's body language and reading their moods. I'm very patient and know your dog will be missing you, and I know how important it is that they feel loved while you are away. I am available to walk your dog at least twice a day, minimum 30 minutes each session. And I'm available for potty breaks all day.

“Amanda is always amazing! She has checked on my cats and chickens for me two or three times now, and she never disappoints! Her updates are thorough, she shares adorable pictures of my babies, and even feeds snacks to the chickens sometimes. They are used to our kitchen scraps on a daily basis, so I'm sure they really apperciate the snacks she gives while we are gone. 😊 The cats love her and love her attention. She hangs out the full half hour to give them the love they crave while we are gone. I couldn't apperciate her more!”

“Emma has been watching our pup Louie for 2 years now and she is fantastic! She is communicative and reliable, flexible and handles situations safely. She really runs our pup around and he is tired after his mid day check in. We have two cats at home and she has always loved on them too. We are so lucky to have found her, we highly recommend her to take care of your furry family member.”

About: Currently doing drops in visits and walks (dogs and cats). Feeding, yard time, play, brushing, watering, all the good drop in stuff. I have experience walking dogs of all breeds and sizes (10-200 lbs). I learned a great deal about healthy mobility as I had to rehab my pup at adoption. I also have 2 cats at home and love playing and cuddling (when they let me) with them. Happy to care for other types of pets but will need clear instructions. :) I work remotely and mostly for myself right now so I have pretty good flexibility to drop in or walk your pups. During the week I can walk or drop on Mon, Wed, Fri and the weekend. - Front yard is fenced and 4 feet high; 2 large water bowls - Back yard is fenced and 6 feet high; 1 large water bowl - Dogs are fed separately from each other - I'm mindful of what toys are out to avoid resource guarding related mishaps.

About: Hi there! I know it’s nerve racking to leave your furry friend with a complete stranger. I totally get it! But rest assured, they will be in good hands. I am a lover of all animals, and enjoy taking care of them in my spare time. I also work at an animal shelter helping screen for good homes, helping with meet and greets, adoptions, dog walking, and animal care. I love it! I grew up with several different kinds of animals. My first jobs were taking care of family and friends pets, and I continued to do so for many years after. I have been a walker/pet sitter on and off for about 10 years, now. I am trust worthy, reliable, and will treat your pets as my own. I am open to caring for different types of pets, not only dogs and cats. Feel free to reach out with any questions! I take care of my two dogs. 2 feedings, plus snacks and treats. Toys, chew bones, lots of love and daily exercise. They sleep on the bed with me. I also spend three days at the animal shelter helping screen for good homes, helping with meet and greets, adoptions, dog walking, and animal care. I take care of their pets as I am directed and to the best of my knowledge, to make the pets and pet owners as safe and comfortable as possible. I take a lot of photos of the stay and send detailed Rover cards.

About: I have a lifelong passion for animals, especially dogs, having grown up surrounded by them. In addition to raising family pets, I've cherished my Australian shepherd, Olly, for 7 years, and when I met my now husband he brought a wonderful border Collie mix, 3 years ago, but has owned him for 8 years. We've filled their lives with love through daily walks, outdoor adventures like hiking and camping, and endless exploration. Olly I trained from a puppy and Hank was adopted at 3 and at 11 now he is still learning new tricks! Throughout caring for Olly and Hank, I've also opened our home to friends' pets, treating them with the same affection and care. I'm excited to extend this love and commitment to your dogs, whether through dog walking, drop-ins, or boarding! I work in the office two days a week, but otherwise I work from home! So two of the days maybe longer time before getting let out. We love first and foremost, so that they feel welcomed. We will read their energy to make sure they feel calm and not stressed when they are here. We will provide great exercise and loads of cuddles.

“Kira was so amazing. Our guy has a broken leg, and she was so kind as to give us detailed updates and progress on his injury while we were out of town. I 10/10 recommend her, and we will definitely be booking her again for our next out of town trip.”

“Highly recommended! Constant communication and was very flexible with bad weather and challenges getting to my house. Friendly, warm, and wonderful with my kitties. Thank you so much!”

About: Although I may have two kitties myself I have had dogs in the past. I have had pets my entire life and couldn't see myself without them. I have had my two cats for the past 5 years. Dog experience would be 5 years or more as well as I've had childhood pet dogs. I have a pretty open flexible schedule! I accept last minute (same day) rover jobs as I understand that last minute emergencys happen! :) I look forward to hearing from you and taking care of your pets in the future! I'm very communicative and will let you know if anything happens during the stay! Will keep you updated with pictures and daily updates on how your pet is doing including eating and if they are going potty. I'm very caring and loving towards animals and have a lot of compassion towards them.

About: “If I could be half the person my dog is, I’d be twice the human I am.” –Charles Yu Hi, I’m a lifelong animal lover with over 30 years of experience caring for pets—11 of those years professionally. I've cared for everything from sled dog teams to horses to chickens but dogs are truly my passion, and there’s nothing I enjoy more than spending my days walking, boarding, and providing them with the love and attention they deserve. I am currently certified in Dog Massage, Dog Training Methods to Stop Barking, and Pet Choking. My home is a doggy playground, complete with two fenced yards (one in front and one in back) for playtime and located right next to the beautiful trails of Illahee Park for long, scenic walks. Dogs are allowed on couches and beds here - your furry friend will feel right at home with me! Boarding and House sitting bookings come with a framed fantasy pet portrait of your pet(s) so if you have a preference for your pet paw-trait, please let me know! A little more about us: My husband and I moved here from Issaquah when we bought our first home in Bremerton in July 2023. I didn't bring my clients with me because of the distance, even though I wish I could have! I "retired" at that time from dog sitting but we started doing it again occasionally for friends, neighbors, and family and we realized how much we really missed doing it! We love it here in Kitsap County. So, while I'm not new to professional pet care, I'm newish to the Rover platform - if you have any concerns about my pricing or availability, please don’t hesitate to reach out. My rates reflect the quality of care I provide and are set to ensure my services are worthwhile. That said, I understand the Rover platform can occasionally create confusion, so I’m happy to discuss any unique circumstances you may have. As a freelance graphic designer working from home, I have the flexibility and freedom to dedicate plenty of quality time to caring for pets, whether that be in my home, or at yours. Boarding and Housesitting bookings come with a framed fantasy pet paw-trait of your pet(s). I have two friendly dogs at home who love company and are always up for playtime. They spend a lot of time having fun in our yard, but we also enjoy occasional trips to the local off-leash park. For more adventurous outings, we take longer hikes through the beautiful trails at Illahee and Dickerson, giving them plenty of exercise and exploration.

About: Update: I took a break from Rover to prepare and move across the country. Now, all settled in, I’m eager to get back into caring for your pups. After 28 years of living with dogs and cats, I am thrilled to finally open my home to pet boarding. I provide a safe and loving environment for your furry kids. They will be supervised during potty time and feedings. They can sleep in my bed, on his/her own bed, or will be crated overnight. I want to do for them what you do when they're home. Your pet will hang around with me when I'm home. When I'm away from home, they will be safely crated, or if you prefer, they will be left in a room where they will be safe and comfortable. My goal is to care for and love your pets in my home just as they're cared for and loved in yours. No pick ups or drop offs after 6:00pm, please. I'll happily board small caged animals too. My husband (pet daddy and supportive helper) and I are now retired. We look forward to loving and caring for your pets as we do our own. I have a fenced area outside for fresh air. All time outdoors, including potty breaks are supervised. Your pup will be kept inside our (central heat and air conditioning) house.

“From the moment I spoke with Kelly, I knew it would be a great fit! She's thorough, understands sensitive dog needs, and asks really great questions. I'm very particular about who watches my reactive dog Roo, but Kelly has been so wonderful to work with and instantly put me at ease. I'm so glad to have found her (and so is Roo!).”

“Zi was so gracious as to host my 9 year old cat for a couple of months when I had a sudden work trip. My cat is on the shy and timid side but Zi did an amazing job helping my cat get adjusted and comfortable and soon there were plenty of pictures of my cat snuggling up on the couch with her. Overall a great experience, Zi is very attentive and I think my cat is now even a lil more open to new people after seeing that theyre not all scary! :)”

“Firoz is a very responsible and patient pet owner. He has two cats and a big dog. He puts serious work and thought into keeping them happy, healthy, and safe. The dog he has is a French Pyrenees who had knee problems in both back legs. He knew it would be expensive in time, money, and effort to repair the issue. He was aware of the issues before adopting the dog but adopted her anyway. He has the discipline, patience, and love needed to take excellent care of his pets and any entrusted to him. There is no one I would trust more with my pets.”

“Christina has been so great with our dogs. They are very intense, high-energy herding breed dogs who are not for the faint of heart. I have a hard time trusting people to be able to handle their exuberant personalities. Lucky for me, she loves them and the feeling is mutual! It’s been a huge relief to travel knowing that they are in good hands, and she is great about sending check-in texts with pictures and videos to keep us updated about how they’re doing every time she comes by. I highly recommend her!”
