I recently became a veteran off of active duty and looking for a fun part time job with dogs over the summer and possibly more months to follow. I have loads of compassion, impeccable attention to detail, and connecting with your pup through their unique expressions of communication is the primary focus of my attention when we're together. I work from home, so have a very flexible schedule that can easily meet your and your pups' needs daily. If you're interested in in-home sitting, my work allows me to remain with your pup for most of the day (minus appointments with walking clients). This allows us to establish and maintain a routine each day - a critical component of limiting your pup's stress while adjusting to you being away. On walks and home checks I offer training reinforcement as well as the kind of walk your dog needs: lots of sniffing time, or a face-paced multi-mile walk/hike, or a little of both! About: I've grown up with dogs (specifically Labs) my entire life and am incredibly comfortable with dogs both known and new to me. I recently lost my Lab of 15 years and have plenty of experience and patience for older dogs. I also have a 5 year old Lab but she does not live at my house. I have lots of experience with puppies as well and understand the level of care that comes with that! I am self-employed, and have time throughout the day most days to structure care as needed. I'm happy to work through the schedule with you to determine what fits best for you and your dog. I have a fenced back yard as well as a large park near my house that can be used as either a leashed walking area, or an open space to play ball depending on you/your dog's comfortability off leash. I also have a crate available if one is not provided.

About: I have almost 24 years of experience working with a variety of animals in a variety of settings (clinics, shelters, boarding/doggy day care and pet sitting). I am working full-time at a veterinary clinic, however, I am available to drop by in the mornings before work and in evenings after work. About: Iv taken care of your typical house pets to exotics, I enjoy getting to meet your best friend and treating them like my own. I enjoy the typical fetch or the cuddles on the coucg, whatever your furry friend enjoys more I work 8-5 Monday through Friday with a hour long lunch break. (If needed run to your home and check up on them) Weekends I enjoy either at home or exploring the outdoors. As well as having home pets I do have full care of two cats at my work. I can do an hour long walk or play fetch in the backyard. I can walk them on the beach or take them on a hike! I enjoy playing with animals.

In addition to raising family pets, I've cherished my Australian shepherd, Olly, for 7 years, and when I met my now husband he brought a wonderful border Collie mix, 3 years ago, but has owned him for 8 years.
