Daun is great! My pups absolutely loved her. She showed up on time each time, gave each dog plenty of individual attention. I will definitely be using her again when we go on vacation, and I highly recommend her to anyone else in the area looking for a pet sitter!

Haley was so wonderful with our dog, Marlie. She took very good care of her while we were away. She sent us pictures daily giving us peace of mind knowing Marlie was happy and well cared for. Because of Haley, we were able to enjoy our vacation knowing that our girl was in good hands. I would highly recommend Haley, she is amazing! Thank you Haley for being so great and loving Marlie as if she were your own! Lacie

I have been a pet sitter for many people for a few years now (usually cats and dogs) but I am open to other animals. I have two cats of my own who I love with all my heart! I am trying to build my portfolio to eventually work in the veterinary field. Im currently college to get a degree in Vet Tech. I have class from 10-12 am on Tuesdays and Thursdays. This summer is really busy with animal care but you can always ask about dates and times. I follow care instructions to a t. I love playing with animals and some good lap time. I can do pretty much anything whether an animal has special needs/ care instructions. And am open to taking care of other kinds of animals besides dogs.

About: Throughout my life I’ve had 2 dogs, 7 cats, and I currently live with 3 cats. I don’t have a preference between cats and dogs, I love them equally! I don’t work a regular job so my schedule is almost always open for pet sitting. I’m free to house sit, dog walk, whenever you need me. I keep my cats indoors, give fresh water every day in their cat fountain. I feed every morning and every night on a consistent schedule, a mix of kibble and wet food.

About: Since I was a kid, I've loved animals. I have taken care of animals for family and friends from a very young age, and I have always lived with a dog and/or cat in my home. I am dependable, responsive, and excited to meet any new furry friends. With a degree in environmental science and a career with the US Forest Service, I have worked with a variety of animals and have even taken some courses on animal behavior. I will approach your pet with patience, love, and experience. I typically work a normal Monday thru Friday schedule, with some flexibility. Working right here in Zigzag, it is easy for me to break away to check in with your pets or take them on a quick walk during the day! I am free during evenings and weekends. I am happy to care for your pet however you wish. I have crate trained, potty trained, and cared for pets in their old age. I am a very active person who loves to hike, walk, and run, and would love to take your pet out for an adventure!

This was my first time using Rover for pet sitting. Emily was easy to communicate with and responsive, came the times I booked her for, and took good care of my girl Scarlet for two days. I would book her again if visiting this area in the future and recommend her services.

About: I’ve started walking dogs since I was walking in diapers. Throughout the years I’ve taken care of different sizes of dogs~ puppies to seniors. I’ve taken care of dogs that needed medical care and trained my dog and my grandma’s pup. I can say I know a bit of things when it comes dogs. I’m currently going to school in the afternoon and working at a part time, my mornings are almost always open and some of my nights. I’ll Still be willingly to work something out between those times. I like to take my dog out every 4 hrs even if he isn’t waiting at the door just to make sure he gets a nice breeze of the outside. I usually give him a cup of food every morning.

About: I have taken care of animals for the last 12 years. I've done drop ins, overnights, and day sitting. I love meeting new furry friends. I have a lot of experience taking in sickly animals and finding homes for them. When your animals are in my care they will get love, affection, and top notch sitting! Not to mention all the Pets they could ask for! I also have a new tag along! My baby girl is 8 months old and will tag along with me with walks and visits(if allowed). We love to go for walks and get out into nature, so your pup will have tons of fun with us. I live on a 13 acre lot so there's lots of room for your fuzzy friends to play. Metzler Park and Campground is about a 5 minute drive away. I am currently a stay at home mom with a toddler. I have all the time to hang out with your pup! We will give unconditional attention and love to any animal that comes into our home. Since it is summer I would love to take your pup on a walk near the few parks we have in the area or let them roam my 13 acre lot with supervision. Being so close to Mt.hood national forest, Metzler Park and Campground and other trails you can trust that your pups going to get the exercise they love.

About: See my $20 Off QR Code in my photos! I love being around animals and have been around them my whole life. I grew up in generations of animal & nature-lovers. It’s a gift to be able to connect with animals. I love to return the positive energy an animal gives. I feel like every animal deserves kindness. I feel like I have a gift to be able read, understand, calm and relax and add happiness to an animal’s day. They are therapy for me as much as I feel I am for them. I’m happiest and genuinely feel most at-ease with animals. It’s important for me they feel comfortable with and around me. I know that much like human children, routine is very important to pets. If you need me to check in on them, feed /water them, potty breaks/short walks/close-by parks/play toss-the-ball, hug/cuddle/companion-time or stay at your home I am available to help. I develop unique connections to each animal I’m around and grateful to be around each one. Whatever a pet-owner needs me to do to help make their pet’s day better, I’m up for the challenge. Animals make my day, daily! Whether it be my friend’s dogs & cats or the Brahma bull that is up the road, I try to see an animal each day. I do have experience with animals that have high-anxiety, special needs and abusive backgrounds. I currently have a few tears in my meniscus which is preventing me to do rigorous walks. I will be scheduling surgery soon but that does not prevent me from tossing a ball around for a dog. I look forward to meeting and caring for your pet(s)! I am looking to assist with in-home day/night(s) stays, drop-in visits and walks. I’m available anytime and look forward to meeting you & your pet(s)! Although I do have a wonderful, small fenced-in yard, I live in an 800 sq ft home therefore, I think it's best to go where the pet is most-comfortable (their own home).

About: I have taken care of dogs since we found our pit bull mix while I was in the 2nd grade. I would help potty train with her, actively play, walk, and feed and water her while living at home. My family has always been dog lovers, and I am no exception! I now am a proud owner of a 1 year and 9 month old boxer named Copper. My hope for everyone is to find responsibility and companionship in pet ownership as I have. I'd be honored to be included in that journey with you and your dog/cat! While I do have a full time job as an in home caregiver of a disabled individual, my schedule can also be fairly flexible in the daytime hours and on the weekends. Please feel free to reach out, and I will do my best to accommodate your furry friend's needs. I'm willing to adapt to what the owner prefers. When I'm at home, I am always on the lookout for what my pet needs or wants. So, I am used to meeting the need of furry friends.

About: I’ve grown up around animals and have years of hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats. Pet care has always been deeply personal to me, not just a side job. I fostered a dog named Sakura who had paralysis in her two front paws, which taught me patience, adaptability, and how to provide extra-attentive care for pets with special needs. I’ve also rescued and helped rehome multiple dogs and cats off the streets in Colombia, giving them safety, love, and a second chance. While in college in Corvallis, Oregon, I regularly cared for dogs through doggy day-outs and sleepovers, helping busy pet parents with walks, feeding, companionship, and overnight care. Friends, family, and community members have consistently trusted me with their pets, and I take that responsibility seriously. Every pet is different, and I always tailor my care to their personality, routines, and comfort level. I’m patient, reliable, and genuinely love building connections with animals. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, happy, and cared for while giving their owners peace of mind. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine. I currently work two part-time barista jobs that take up only a few days of the week and for limited hours. This gives me a very flexible schedule for dog walks, drop-in visits, and house sitting. I’m available most days for daytime care, evening visits, and overnight stays, and I can plan my schedule around each pet’s routine to make sure they receive consistent attention, exercise, and companionship. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize safety, respect, and consistency. I carefully follow all instructions related to feeding, walking, medications, routines, and household expectations. I make sure doors, gates, and leashes are always secure and I stay attentive during walks and visits. I’m mindful of each pet’s personality and comfort level, especially with shy or anxious animals, and I adjust my approach to help them feel safe and relaxed in their own environment. I also treat clients’ homes with care and respect. I believe communication is essential, so I provide regular updates, photos, and messages so pet parents always know how their pets are doing. My goal is to provide reliable, loving care while giving both pets and owners peace of mind.

  • 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 94% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
