“Lauren is very professional; she thought of everything. But also easy-going and chill. She had to deal with a broken sink, an extra foster cat, and communication with both my partner and me. She rolled with it all. As a bonus, her reviews are super funny. We were cracking up as we read them, and seeing the time she put into those updates made me realize she must have put that much effort into caring for our pets, too. Lauren really went above and beyond!”

She sent regular updates, and I could tell my cat was happy and well cared for. My cat is usually scared and shy with strangers but with Ashton, he was playful and looked very comfortable. It’s obvious Ashton genuinely loves animals and takes the time to make them feel comfortable. I’ll definitely be reaching out to Ashton again next time I need a sitter”

About: I've taken care of dogs and cats since I was old enough for my parents and neighbors to trust me! Grew up with multiple of my both in the house and naturally my first job was dog walking and house sitting around the neighborhood. Have experience working with older pets, puppies / kittens, and large breeds. Currently, live in the Corktown neighborhood with my Australian Shepherd Mel. If you see us out on a walk, say hello! I'm currently working part-time, so my schedule is flexible to accommodate your ideal walking and / or care schedule. My Australian Shepard Mel and I walk around Corktown daily and am always up for spending more time outside! For Dog Walking: I follow your lead on your dog's tendencies / preferences. I adhere to your preferred routes and instructions regarding leash etiquette, avoiding off-leash situations unless explicitly discussed and approved. If your dog enjoys canine company, I'm happy to bring my Aussie Mel along, who loves walking with friends! If your dog likes playing ball / frisbee, happy to discuss how we can accommodate that as well. For In-Home Pet Check-ins: I pay close attention to your pet's behavior and appetite, reporting any concerns to you immediately. I ensure fresh water is always available and clean up any messes promptly. I prioritize respecting your space, leaving it just as I found it.

About: I am a first year medical student who loves to play and care for animals. I have been caring for all types of animals for the past 10 years, including but not limited to dogs, cats, bunnies, fish, hedgehogs, etc. I have personal experience caring and training my dog who was diagnosed with glaucoma which caused her to become blind in one eye. This means that I have to administer eye drops into her eye every night. I have trained her to go to her bed and sit patiently to allow me to input her eye drops peacefully in an exchange for a treat. In high school I also helped train puppies to become guide dogs for the blind. I am able to care for wild and rambunctious dogs to relaxed and care-free dogs. With these special skills and personal experiences, I will be able to ensure that your dog is cared for as if they are my own. I understand that dogs are a huge part of your family and will do my best to make sure they are treated with love. As a full time student, I have flexibility in my schedule to fit in pet care into my weekly routine. I like to implement breaks into my study schedule and what good way to rest than playing/caring for animals! While I am unable to board / care for animals in my own home, I will be able to go to the pets home and care for them there. I can do house visits to feed or care for them in the home or take them out for walks around your neighborhood.

About: I've been around dogs my whole life, my parents raised seeing eye dogs, and I helped with training and daily care from a young age. In my teens, I helped my mom run a small dog-boarding business out of our home, so I'm used to dogs with all kinds of temperaments and routines. Over the years, I've often been the go-to friend for dogs that need a little extra patience or understanding, whether that's a shy senior or a high-energy handful. I recently lost my own pup, and while l'm not ready for another full-time, I miss having a dog around and love being able to offer that care and attention to someone else's. I'm currently working on fixing up my very old duplex so I'm home, tinkering around most of the time, and my schedule is flexible. If you're worried about your pet being in a construction zone, not to worry! The living area is safe and segmented from anything that might be hazardous yet intriguing to your pet. I have a partially fenced yard, perfect for supervised play. Living in midtown means that there's plenty of interesting things to smell along walks. I can crate your dog if needed, and you're welcome to bring their own if that makes them most comfortable. I have quite a few house plants in my space, so please let me know if your pup is prone to chewing on them and I will move them out of the way for their visit.

“Marissa is always amazing - great communication, thorough, and you can tell she truly cares about your pets. I'm so grateful that we found someone we can trust to give our cat's medication as well.”

My day typically starts at 7am and ends in the evening hours at 10pm. I welcome conversations and appointments throughout the day. Ask me for a regular schedule to ensure I handle all of your pets household needs. I like to keep a clear and hygienic environment to ensure that pets have a healthy, safe and stress free environment. “Christian has been absolutely wonderful with our 9-year-old Vizsla, Lily. She's a sweet, energetic dog who still loves her daily walks, and Christian has been the perfect match for her. He’s reliable, kind, and clearly loves dogs — Lily gets so excited every time she sees him! We really appreciate how attentive he is to her needs, especially considering her age. He gives her the right balance of exercise and care, and always makes sure she’s comfortable and happy. We’ve noticed Lily seems calmer and more content on the days she walks with Christian. Highly recommend Christian to anyone looking for a responsible, trustworthy, and genuinely caring dog walker. Lily gives him two paws up!”
