“Karen was a wonderful choice for drop-in visits for my two cats when I left on an impromptu long weekend trip. She came over a day before my trip to meet my kitties. She was patient and understanding with my one cat who just wanted to hide - and after sitting patiently and quietly, he finally let her pet him. She explained the pet sitting / drop-in procedures, and is generally a kind and personable person overall. Each day I was gone, she left detailed drop-in notes and took TONS of photos to show that my two boys were doing well in my absence. When I returned, they both seemed to be in good spirits, well-fed, and well-watered. I highly recommend Karen as a cat-sitter!”

About: I have taken care of animals, specifically dogs my entire life! I have two dogs, One 5 turning 6 this upcoming winter, and the other 13 years old! I am a huge animal lover & I pet sit my friends dogs every once in a while and I realized I really enjoy it! I am also attending Waynesburg University in the fall to major in Biomedical Science Pre-vet and plan to go to Grad school to become a veterinarian I work at a restaurant in Girad! & I love playing pickleball, taking my dogs on walks, and enjoying the sun within my free time. About: I’ve had a fur companion all of my life! I’ve successfully raised and trained five dogs from puppies and I have experience with rescue pups who may not feel entirely comfortable in their new environment. I’ve experienced small and large breeds alike, with my current pup being a King Cavalier Spaniel. Goose’s cousins who we see weekly are two Golden retrievers and one rescue mix. I’m able to be flexible or rigid when it comes to your pets schedule, and am knowledgeable in special diets, fresh pet food, administering meds if needed. I have the luxury of working from home and creating my own schedule which makes my days very flexible! I currently can accept pets for boarding, play dates or walks Sunday through Thursday, 9:30am to 10pm. My dog is allowed to be on all furniture and sleep in the bed and your pet would be permitted to as well if that is your preference! Goose and I take several walks a day and love to take day trips to various area dog parks and hiking trails or enjoy a lazy afternoon on the couch.

She was on point with communication when we or she had a question regarding the dogs, plus she did cleaning outside when we didn't ask her to. With the 6 dogs she had to watch, 5 out of 6 dogs (5 are my MIL dogs) loved her, except 1 of our dogs, Misty, was very stubborn and guarded she was giving us a play by play on how she kept on barking and 24hrs later Misty warmed up and earned Peyton's respect. I know it’s hard to leave them so let me give you peace of mind! I am looking to help those who may be working mornings Monday -Friday. About: My name is Ronda. I have been pet sitting for friends and family for years. I have also been a foster for a rescue group for years. Your animal will be taken care of and loved as if they were my own. I do not currently have any pets. I recently lost my 2 senior dogs. I have a large home and fenced in back yard. I also have a doggie door if that is something your dog is used to (if not, it will be closed up). They will have free roam of the house when I am gone or can be crated if that is what they prefer. I will take them for daily walks or hang with then on the couch. Meds, special diets, or any special needs will be addressed. I'll text updates and sends pictures. Whatever you and your furbaby want, I will accommodate. I accept dogs of any size.

“Laurel did a great job with our dog Reece and disabled cat Bobbie! We were worried how Reece would do with a new person coming into our home without us there. Laurel did great giving him time and space, he quickly warmed up to her! Having a disabled cat often makes it hard to find someone who will take care of their needs, Lauel did not hesitate and took such good care of her! Laurel was great with communicating with us and sending pictures. We will definitely be booking with Laurel in the future.”

About: I can't remember a time in my life when I didn't have pets. I truly love caring for pets of all kinds. Dogs, cats, fish, etc... My schedule is extremely flexible, so I'm able to fit into whatever time slot is needed to best care for your pet, and keep them on a schedule. I feel the best way to care for pets is to earn their trust. It's never a good idea to force yourself on a pet, but to read their body language and take it from there.
