“Jalaina did a great job looking after my dog Baxter. Typically, I board him with a kennel, but he hates being in a cage and restricted. Jalaina was all I could have hoped for. She sent numerous pictures of Baxter that allowed me to have peace of mind when I needed a last minute sitter and a “homey” environment for Baxter. He warmed up to her immediately and even got comfy on her couch. Also, she walked him daily and when I picked him up he wasn’t anxious as he has been in kennel environments. I almost forgot to mention that she watched my Mom’s dog as well in the same weekend. We wanted to board them together because they are with each other most days. I can’t say enough about Jalaina and her sweet and gentle spirit which is why I think both dogs had such an enjoyable stay and I will not hesitate to book her again.”

Our days typically include: 🌅 Morning Your pet will start the day with a potty break, fresh water, breakfast, and some playtime or a walk. They’ll have plenty of attention before settling into a relaxed part of the day. ☀️ Midday I work two days a week, but your pet will never be left without a plan. My husband works less than a mile from our home, so he can easily stop by during the workday to let your pet outside, play with them, and give them some extra attention. 🐕 Afternoon On days I’m home, we’ll have additional potty breaks, walks, playtime, and plenty of companionship. I’m happy to adjust the routine based on your pet’s age, energy level, and normal schedule. 🌙 Evening Evenings include dinner, outdoor time, playtime or a walk, and relaxing family time. We’ll finish the night with a final potty break before bedtime. I’m happy to follow your pet’s usual feeding, walking, potty, medication, and sleeping routines so their stay feels as familiar as possible. My goal is simple: while you’re away, your pet should feel safe, loved, comfortable, and cared for—not like they’re just being boarded I have a huge backyard to run and play in if your pet is able. We also have neighborhoods around us to go for long or short walks for exercise. I have no problem with your pet being on the furniture if that is what they are used to. There are currently no other animals in the house, so your pet will get undivided attention. There is an electric fence on our property, but will only be used if the pets’ parent prefers to use it.

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs, cats, and other animals (snakes, bearded dragons, hamsters, tarantulas) for about 18 years. I’ve always had pets and friends and family have relied on me to take care of their pets when they were away. I’ve owned cats with kidney disease and my dog has an autoimmune disease, so I have experience with taking care of sick animals. I’m able to administer oral medications, ear and eye drops/cleaning, subcutaneous fluids. I’m a registered nurse currently working part time night shift at the hospital, but I make time to care for my own dog and cat. On my days off, I have plenty of time to care for other animals! I can only do drop-in visits, walks, or doggy day care/boarding at my home as I can’t stay nights away from my own animals. I would always want to do meet and greets first to make sure my animals get along with clients, but I can accommodate separating them in my house between the upstairs and finished basement.

Because I’m home most of the time, your pet won’t be left alone for long periods and will get consistent care and companionship. I provide a calm, safe, and loving home environment where pets can feel comfortable and relaxed. I take introductions slowly and make sure all animals feel secure, especially when meeting my dog. I have a sweet Great Pyrenees mix who is gentle, affectionate, and does best with smaller or calm dogs. Your pet’s safety and comfort always come first. My dog is up-to-date on vaccinations and flea/tick prevention, and I always follow owner instructions closely to make sure your pet’s routine stays consistent.

“Connie is Wonderful!!!! She gave me updates and pictures. Her dog was the perfect playmate for my dog. I felt confident leaving my dog with her because she has tons of experience with dogs. She is a trainer, a groomer and very active in the dog world. She is perfectly set up to handle multiple dogs. She has a nice fenced in, shaded backyard that is very private. About: Growing up I always had dogs. They were always considered another member of our family. We always trained our own puppies. I've taken care of family members dogs before and puppy sitted in the past. I am a dog mom of two dogs currently. I love dogs and their unique personalities. I love to be outdoors so I'll have plenty of time to play with your pups. I'm available evenings during the week and all day on Friday through Sunday. But im always flexible so just let me know what you need and we can work things out to fit your pets needs. Making them feel at home and loved will be my number one priority. I have a fenced in yard and 2 fur babies that will keep your dogs company. Or I can easily crate your dog if needed or I can separate them from my fur babies in another fenced in area. Whatever you prefer I can arrange.
