Work from home RN/dog lover
We are an engaged couple living in Girard, no kids at this time, and we both work in healthcare with “odd” hours and days off! Account ran by Kaitlin however Joe has been verified/approved to help out as well. For almost two decades I’ve had dogs of my own, and have watched and cared for the dogs of friends/family members, often overnight and for days at a time. I’ve raised one puppy, and I’ve had had 3 senior dogs (our dogs luckily live to be quite old!). One of my family dogs has special needs due to a spinal stroke in 2016, and I’ve been very involved in his care. I am familiar with medicating dogs. I am a registered nurse myself, and for the last 3 years I’ve been working from home for an insurance company. I am very fit and active and love to exercise. I also love to be outside in nature, especially when the weather is nice! Joe is a paramedic/firefighter. We love all dogs, with a special place in our heart for rescue dogs, and even more of a special place for pit mixes, having two of our own. We love to stay busy. We know how stressful finding a pet-sitter can be, and we’d love to alleviate that worry for people.

Kaitlin is so sweet! She took great care of our 2 pups while we were away for the night! Kaitlin was on time, sent pictures and updates frequently, she even hand fed our sweet puggle because he was wearing a cone at the time and having trouble eating. Just Amazing! You can truly tell her love for animals! Highly recommend and will definitely book again!
Kaitlin is just wonderful! She dropped in twice a day to feed and care for my 4 cats while we were gone for 8 days. The furr babies just loved her and met her at the door every time. She was excellent at sending pictures of my "pride", feeding, cleaning bowls and boxes and even took the garbage out to the outside garbage can so the kitchen didn't smell off canned cat food! She was so prompt at taking in the mail and packages off the porch. If you want a conscientious cat/dog sitter, don't hesitate to call Kaitlin and Joe. I give them an A+++.
Kaitlin was punctuational and loving and caring. Oliver is disabled due to a disc injury and requires much special attention. She has always been very involved in his care as he is our family dog. For anyone who has a special needs dog she is the best , she is very empathetic and kind to all animals.
Kaitlin is the best! I went away for an overnighter and my two pups were given so much love and attention at my home while I was away. They were relaxed, calm and happy when I returned. Kaitlin was so good at keeping me updated and sending sweet pictures of my fur babies. My two pups took to her right away. She’s so good with animals, genuine, trustworthy with a great work ethic. I highly recommend! I will absolutely be booking with them again! Thank you again, Kaitlin!

Schedule
I work from home and my shifts are 10 hours, 4 days a week. I work every other weekend, so every week I have two weekdays off. Even while I am working, I am able to take breaks at any time throughout my day and can walk people’s dogs/do drop in visits during that time. Joe works 24 hour shifts at the fire department, once every third day, and then on his days off from there he works 8:30-4:30 at a medical sales warehouse.

Safety, trust & environment
I have not yet attempted to bring other dogs into our home, but it’s something I’m potentially open to. We have 2 dogs and they are the best of friends. We have a fenced in backyard. We have a crate here that we put one of our dogs in when we leave the house as he has destructive separation anxiety. I am able to drive, or maybe even walk to other people’s houses!

A typical day
I know how important both physical and mental stimulation can be. I will play with your dogs + their toys, I can provide puzzles for them, and of course walking them can serve as an incredible stimulation activity. Working from home at a desk, I look forward to more activities to get myself moving along with the dogs!
