“Christine was truly the best sitter we could have asked for, and Honey and Maple absolutely adored her. She watched my girls for two weeks while we were overseas, and I honestly could not have felt better about leaving them with her. She treated them like they were her own and was so attentive to all of their little quirks. Somehow, without me even telling her, she figured out things like how they like to be tucked in when they go to sleep. 😂 She really got to know them and their personalities while we were gone. Honey and Maple are also very much sighthounds, so they come with some specific challenges. They can be picky about eating, and when they get playing too hard, they have a tendency to accidentally tear their skin. Christine handled both so well. She played with them constantly to keep them active and interested in eating, and she was so attentive to their play that she could redirect them before they got too rough. I came home to two happy dogs with no issues at all. She was also an amazing communicator and took great care of our house. More than anything, it was obvious how much she genuinely loved the dogs. I felt like she cared for them just as well as I would have, which is honestly the highest compliment I could give a sitter. I would trust Christine with Honey and Maple again without hesitation, and we will absolutely be hiring her again. About: I have been watching people’s furry family members for 10 years, giving them the love and care they need while their humans are away. I have experience with special needs pets, elderly pets, and other pets (chinchillas, bearded dragons, chickens, fish). I am comfortable administering medicines and other treatments, as well as cleaning up after/bathing animals when needed. Please keep in mind when booking that I require a weeks notice for jobs. I have another part time job that I have to give notice to. I am currently working full-time at a cafe/brunch restaurant. My typical shifts are 9-4 Wednesday-Thursday. If needed I have no issue with visiting your pets on my lunch break, given that they are a feasible distance from my job. I am available to watch your pets/home for any length of time. I am aware of how stressful it can be for your pet to not only be without their family, but to have a stranger come into their home. About: I've had animals in my house for over 20 years. Spanninng a cockatiel, a cat, five dogs and my clown fish who are going on 18 years old. Once, I drove the bird into the Tuft's vet school in a blizzard on a weekend night. Another time I took one of the clown fish into the Tufts satellite clinic on a Sunday because he hadn't eaten for days. Both pets lived to tell their tale. Cats are great, I love how they set the rules :) But dogs are where my heart is, especially Airedales, and rescue dogs are a labor of love!
