“Very knowledgeable and made me comfortable leaving my pupper dog in her hands. Kept us updated the whole time with photos and videos. I was worried about leaving Koda during his torn ACL recovery but she let me know when he was getting worse and getting better. Come to find out he was getting worse because she found he was spitting out his meds lol. Im grateful she didnt let it slide, she made the effort to help him out to get him back on track with his recovery. Great communicator and educator. Highly recommend!”

About: What sets me apart is a lifetime of hands-on experience and genuine love for animals. I am a retired Quarter Horse and dog rancher with over 54 years of experience caring for animals of all kinds. Throughout my life, animals have never just been a job—they’ve been my passion, my pride, and my joy. I service BRANSON MO, TABLE ROCK AREA, NIXA & SPRINGFIELD In addition to running a ranch, I’ve worked as a veterinary assistant, which gives me a deeper understanding of animal health, behavior, and safety. I’m comfortable recognizing signs of stress or illness and responding appropriately. I treat every animal in my care like family. Whether it’s a quick visit or an extended stay, your pets will be cared for with the same attention, patience, and love I’ve given my own animals for decades. Their comfort, safety, and happiness always come first. With my background, you can have peace of mind knowing your pets are in experienced, capable, and truly caring hands. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I work during the day, but I dedicate my evenings and weekends to pet sitting, which allows me to give pets plenty of attention, consistency, and care during those times. My schedule works especially well for pet owners who need reliable evening check-ins, overnight care, or weekend coverage. I make sure each visit is unhurried so your pets receive the attention, exercise, and affection they deserve. Caring for animals has always been a big part of my life, so even with my daytime responsibilities, I prioritize making time to ensure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I care for pets in their home by keeping their routine consistent and their environment calm and safe. I follow all instructions closely, including feeding, medications, and daily habits. With my background as a rancher and former veterinary assistant, I pay close attention to behavior and safety. I also treat every home with respect—keeping it clean, secure, and just as I found it. I provide updates so owners feel at ease, and I treat every pet like my own—with patience, care, and love.

I enjoy building trust and giving each pet personalized care. I love animals and taking care of loved family members. I am also just trying to get enough money to pay for the rest of my college tuition. With my cat, I feed him 1/2 of a can of soft cat food 2 times a day with a treat at the end of the night. My pickles doesn’t need much care, he is already a very independent cat. When it comes to others pets, I closely follow each owner’s instructions so their pet receives the exact care, attention, and routine they’re used to.
About: I have watched my friends and families pets for years and want to treat your animals as my own! I have a service dog of my own and love meeting new pets! I am a full time homemaker but have a flexible schedule throughout the week! My schedule is easily adaptable for you and your pets needs. I am completely comfortable doing whatever is needed to accommodate your pet! No matter if it is taking your pet for walks or coming to your home to care for them you give me instructions, i follow! That is what I would want if someone was taking care of my pet!
About: I have had pets since I was in my 20’s. There’s only been one year in my adult life I didn’t have a pet of my own. My Pomeranian, Hank was diabetic requiring 2 insulin shots a day for 6 years. Then came Maizee, my toy Poodle. She lived to be 15. We just lost her in October 2025. I am still mourning my tiny little love. She had heart and kidney disease and required medication three times a day. Our remaining dog is Lucy. She is a Poodle too and the love of my life, just don’t tell my husband. My world revolves around her. I make her a homemade diet about every 3 weeks and I dehydrate meat for her treats. My husband always says when he dies he wants to come back as my dog. I haven’t had a job outside the home for 13-14 years. Since we recently lost Maizee I have more time. My husband didn’t administer her medications. My dog, Lucy also adores her dad making it possible to be away for short periods of time. Years and years ago I lost my Dachshund to the road. I was devastated! That incident made me aware of all the dangers they can encounter.
“Jodi did a wonderful job caring for my dogs. They were in great shape when we returned, and she always left the house looking better than when we left. I have such peace of mind knowing she can handle and accommodate the special needs of my dogs with care and confidence.”

About: I spent the first 19 years of my life surrounded by dogs and personally cared for seven of my own, especially large and intelligent breeds. That hands-on experience taught me how to understand dog behavior, build trust, and provide the kind of love and structure dogs thrive on. I’m especially tuned into what each dog needs emotionally and physically, and I truly love how genuine and honest they are. Every dog has a unique personality, and I enjoy connecting with them in a way that makes them feel safe and happy. Pet care fits perfectly into my routine, I have a flexible schedule and love planning my days around the animals I care for. I stick closely to your pet’s usual routine and I always respect your home as if it were my own. Whether I’m stopping by for a quick visit or staying overnight, I’m attentive to both your pet’s needs and your instructions. I know how important trust is when letting someone into your space, and I’m committed to clear communication and reliable care every step of the way.
“Sam was amazing!!! I’m an over-protective cat momma and she did everything on my list perfectly while I was out of the country. And she kept me updated every day—including sending photos. She has excellent instincts and can read cats’ mood and personalities very well. Sam interacted with all 4 kitties and cared about their individual quirks. Since I worry about the kitties getting lonely, having her stay in my spare bedroom was awesome. I truly hope Sam is available whenever I take future trips.”

About: We love dogs! We are called first when any of our friends go out of town. We have cared for dogs of all sizes and ages from older doxies to young mutts and we love large rotties too. We are also okay with special needs dogs and we make sure your dog gets their medications when scheduled. Our lab loves to make new friends with dogs of all sizes. We have a nice privacy fenced in back yard with a kiddie pool to help the dogs keep cool during the summer even though they will spend most of the time inside. Please know that if your pup stays with us he or she will be treated like a part of the family. We love dogs! I help my Dad on his farm only when I'm not scheduled to care for a pup I'm hosting. I'm free to stay at home all day with your pet. I always keep an eye on what's going on. I'm usually outside if our pups are. If I'm watching a pet at your home, I don't make messes.
About: Experienced in puppy training, special feeding/medication needs, and senior dogs.I have been caring for animals in some form or another for all of my life. Rest assured your pets are in good hands. I currently am a stay at home dog/bird dad! Therefore, my schedule is open, flexible, and able to suit the needs of you and your pets! Depending on your home and pets needs, I can make anything work! My wife and I have crate trained both our dogs and understand the necessity for a pet's safe place as well as time to play and socialize.
About: My 14 year old dachshund passed away last spring. I was unsure of jumping right back in so we fostered. Charlie, my dachshund was not a good social fit for most dogs and we were very limited in taking her or leaving her with anybody. I loved her but she was a total pill. LOL!! Dottie our new cattle dog mix is just wonderful with other dogs, and because she loves to play...here we are on this site! I do not want the responsibility of more than one dog as an owner but Dottie is such a great host to all dogs in our house I thought why not try this out? I work from home and also have times where I need to be gone but never for more than 3 hours at a time. I will never book if I am too busy to be a good dog parent. That is a promise. I have a flexible schedule that I am in charge of at all times. I do not clock in at a job but I always need an appointment prior. I am not looking to make this my primary business and only want to cater to the right pets that fit our life. I am not a dog trainer and do not want to be. A good fit for us is a typical fun loving dog that likes everybody and wants to play and walk. I do believe another good fit would be the super lazy or old pet that just likes to lay around or be petted. I am all about them. They need to be house trained and crate trained and have no aggressive tendencies toward kids, cats or other dogs. I would also like to avoid dogs that have intense anxiety or tend to be destructive. If our home sounds like a good fit reach out! Our days start early at 6:00am Monday-Friday, the weekends depend on our Schedule. We are also early to bed at 8:00pm so no late pickups. Honestly I have never been a dog sitter to anyone professionally. It's always been a family and friends deal for free or trade. I Have a nice house in an awesome south east Springfield neighborhood, It comes with a wood 6ft privacy fence. I have a 9 year old kid who loves pets as well. We have Felix, a 3 year old male tabby who comes in and out on his own free will at all times of the day. He is indifferent to dogs, doesn't want to hang out with them but not going to bite or attack anybody. He is a good boy. Dottie is our new adopted dog. We got her from care rescue shelter in August to foster and just fully adopted her this week. She is a lovely little creature that loves to play and run around the backyard with her other dog buddies. Dottie has a crate and we still use it at times but mostly she is pretty well allowed to roam around the house all the time. She is crate trained and potty trained. She was not two months ago but man she has came a long way in a short amount of time. Basically I am pretty easy dog mamma. If they need rest, they get it. If they want to play and run they can. They come in and out when they want. That's how we roll at our house.

Jodi was absolutely amazing with our puppies! She took such great care of them and kept us updated with lots of pictures, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Maggie and Louie looked so happy, relaxed, and well loved in every photo—it was clear they were in great hands. You can really tell Jodi genuinely cares about the animals she watches. We will definitely be using her again! 🐾💛
