“Tiára was an amazingggg pet sitter for my dog and cats It was my first time having a pet sitter that wasn’t someone I personally knew and she made the entire process so smooth and stress free. She checks in with pictures and updates gives lots of treats and made sure my pets were loved and safe during my vacation 100/10”

About: I've loved animals for as long as I can remember. There were always multiple cats and dogs in my home growing up. My husband, three children (15,13,11) and myself love pets and have take care of family and friends' pets quite often, including bunnies and chickens! We had a large labradoodle with special needs in the past and currently have another large labradoodle. I am comfortable with cats and dogs of all ages and sizes and with giving meds as needed. My kids are always up for a snuggle also! I am a homeschool, stay at home mom of 3. Now that my children are older and more independent my schedule is rather flexible. We are active and walk often and can do school anywhere! Sometimes it would be just me but at times my children (15,13,11) would accompany me as well. We have a fenced in dog run which is very secure. If I am coming to your home I will follow any and all guidelines you have to make sure your pet is safe and happy and loved while you are away.

“Denise is amazing! I have two giant and one medium size dogs, and one that needs to be kept separate, and she managed it with perfection! I would highly recommended Denise and will absolutely request her services again in the future! Thank you again!!”

“Maria is wonderful! We feel so comfortable knowing she's coming in to take care of our two cats while we're away. She sends us pictures of them and lets us know how they're doing.”

“Stephen was very responsive. We reached out to him kind of last minute, but he was still able to set up a meet and greet prior to his drop in visit. I would highly recommend him. very professional, and my dogs seems to really like him.”

About: I’m happy to feed, medicate, and love on your pets like they’re my mine. I love families with cats and dogs and am glad to give them all great care! I work part time at a veterinary clinic and have plenty of time to care for and play with your furry friends! We can definitely coordinate our respective schedules. I look forward to meeting you and your pets and caring for them in their own comfortable environment. I’m glad to feed them and care for them like we were in my own home.
“Erin did a wonderful job taking care of our cat Cole. She was always on time and gave us enough updates that we were comfortable being away from him for a few days. Our cat was so happy around her. Thank you Erin!”

“Dear Makayla, thank you so much for taking wonderful care of Christy while we were away. I appreciate your dedication and compassion. I wish you and your family a wonderful new year.”

“Lisa did a wonderful job dropping in to take care of our two pups. We appreciated all the pictures she sent us throughout the visits. Appreciate all the care she gave and look forward to using her again.”
“Kailyn was very responsive and communicative from the start. She sent lots of great photos of Rex and offered such a great peace of mind knowing that he was in great hands while we were away. I highly recommend her and will book again with her in the future!”

“At first we were apprehensive about choosing a new individual to care for our pets. Our first interaction with Brady was that he was a typical uninterested young man who would be ok, but be nothing special. We couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised and wrong in our initial assessment. Our assumption that he was disinterested was really him easily and fully understanding our needs the first time we explained them. He only asked intentional and poinient questions to get exactly the information he needed to provide an exceptional service; he didn't need additional clarification which made us think, wrongly, he was not fully engaged. Don't let his approach and directness fool you; he is fully committed to the job at hand and able to accommodate your and your pets' needs. Brady was excellent with our dog and cat while we were away. He took extra time to play with them daily even though it wasn't required. He was also easily willing to check on the house, find a missing mail package, and ensure the dog (who has storm anxiety) was her usual self after a major storm. He was very responsive to texts through the app even at odd times of day. We appreciate his willingness to be flexible with our delayed and changing flights and his anticipation of our needs. We will definitely use his services again and recommend him to others.”

“Absolutely phenomenal service. One of the most detail oriented pet care providers we have ever worked with (including in the NYC, Philadelphia, and Chicago areas). Follows instructions incredibly well, takes tons of great photos, and is evidently very experienced with nervous animals. Her detailed rover report cards indicate how thoughtful she is. Could not have asked for better care!”

“Erin was wonderful! We have an older dog and needed help fairly last minute for a trip. She was so responsive and came to visit before we left. She kept our girl happy and loved! We will definitely reach out to Erin for future needs!”

“Vu did exactly what I asked and provided thoughtful updates with photos included. He went above and beyond for my cats and left me feeling very comfortable that they received the best care while I was gone. Thank you Vu!”

About: I’m an active student home for the summer who loves dogs, cats, and animals of all kinds! I grew up with dogs and have been caring for pets since I was 10 years old. Spending time with animals has always been one of my favorite things, and pet sitting is a wonderful way for me to do something I genuinely enjoy while helping owners feel confident their pets are in great hands. I bring patience, compassion, and attentiveness to every animal I care for. I am a full time student at Northeastern University, home for the summer! I have a very flexible schedule, and happy to accommodate! Your furry friend will get lots of snuggles and exercise. On nice days, I enjoy going on walks at Marsh Creek and French Creek. I am always willing to explore new areas or dog parks if that is something your dog enjoys! When caring for pets in my clients’ homes, I prioritize safety, comfort, and consistency. I follow each pet’s routine closely, from feeding schedules to exercise, so they feel secure and relaxed. I keep the environment safe by pet-proofing spaces as needed, checking for hazards, and ensuring doors, gates, and enclosures are always secure. My focus is on creating a calm, positive environment where pets feel at ease. I also send regular updates, so owners can see how their pets are doing, building trust and peace of mind throughout my time with them. When going on walks with pets, I ensure they stay safe and engaged by choosing familiar, pet-friendly routes and always keeping them on a secure leash. I’m attentive to their behavior, making sure they’re comfortable, and I avoid any potentially stressful situations. If your dog has any special needs or diets, please let me know so I can be sure to accommodate them and ensure they have the best stay possible!
“Emma was fantastic with our three cats as we took a long road trip to New Hampshire and back over the long weekend. She was very communicative the entire time and made sure that my cat that needs medication and an inhaler had both each day. She also kept us up to date about an accident that my cat had, cleaned it, and left the place spotless for us to come home. Emma is a great pet sitter!”

Katelyn took great care of my two cats, Bogey and Beans! She was kind, reliable, and communicative throughout my trip. She completed her visit even after I let her know I’d be home a bit earlier than expected, which I really appreciated. She also sent lots of cute pictures and updates. I felt completely confident leaving my cats in her care and would happily recommend her to others.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
