“Morgan took exceptional care of my lil sweet peanut. I was in a bind with work and had to leave my dog at my hotel. Morgan is experienced with this setup and I didn’t even have to ask her to leave the tv on and leave water out. She found a great spot to walk pup and relax with other dogs, despite the heat right next to a creek. Morgan was excellent at communicating and I would recommend her to anyone.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life. I currently have four dogs; I have two female German shepherds, a male golden doodle, and a female black Labrador retriever. I have house sat a couple of times with the dogs I own, but I have also house sat for two Rhodesian ridgebacks and two cats regularly. When I am away at school, I volunteer at the Heartland Humane Society in Yankton SD once a week. I play, walk, and enrich all the different dogs in that facility. I currently work part time, usually in the evenings; I have plenty of time to hang out with your pups! I would be able to stop by for potty breaks frequently or go on walks. If overnight services are needed, I would be able to stay overnight and take care of your animal’s needs. I love animals. When I dog or house sit, I hang out with the animals as much as possible. I am vigilant and make sure that they are being properly cared for.
About: With 15 years of pet care experience, I've built a reputation as the sitter friends and family turn to when they need someone they can truly trust. Growing up surrounded by dogs and cats gave me an intuitive understanding of pet behavior, and over the years I've cared for countless breeds - from gentle giants to tiny lap dogs, anxious rescues to energetic puppies. What makes me different is my versatility and adaptability. I'm equally comfortable managing multi-dog households, caring for dogs and cats simultaneously, and adjusting to each pet's unique personality and needs. Whether you have a senior dog requiring gentle, patient care or a high-energy breed that needs extra playtime, I know how to read their cues and provide exactly what they need to feel safe and loved. My experience with diverse breeds and household dynamics means I can handle whatever curveballs your pets might throw - from managing pack dynamics to understanding breed-specific behaviors. I take pride in maintaining each pet's individual routine while ensuring harmony in multi-pet homes. You'll receive regular updates and photos throughout my visits, so you can relax knowing your furry family members are not just being watched, but truly cared for by someone who understands that every pet is someone's beloved companion. I have a flexible weekend schedule that allows me to prioritize your pet's needs. Having recently moved to western South Dakota, I'm excited to build lasting relationships with local pet owners and become a trusted part of this community. My open availability means I can easily accommodate various scheduling needs - whether you need early morning walks, midday check-ins, overnight stays, or last-minute care. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, so pet sitting never feels like work to me. It's actually the highlight of my day! I'm happy to work around your pet's established routine and can be flexible with timing to ensure they receive consistent, reliable care. Whether your pet thrives on a strict schedule or is more go-with-the-flow, I'll adapt to what works best for them and your family. I believe the key to excellent pet care is maintaining consistency with your pet's established routine and household rules. When caring for pets in your home, I take detailed notes about their daily schedule, feeding times, favorite spots, and any house rules—whether that means staying off certain furniture or having free rein of the couch. Your pet's comfort stems from familiarity, so I ensure that nothing changes from their normal routine. I provide the same level of attentive care - regular exercise, plenty of affection, and constant supervision. I also maintain open communication throughout, sending updates and photos so you can see how well your pet is settling in and enjoying their time with me.

“Fantastic! Nicole cared for our cat, fish, spider, and plants while we went out of town this summer. She did a fantastic job with everyone! She sent pictures and kept us up to date on the household. We will definitely use her whenever we travel! Thank you Nicole”

“Tina was very reliable and amenable to changing plans for the day, and our pups got plenty of attention on multiple walks throughout the day. Will use her services again and highly recommend.”

About: I have a dog of my own named Finn, who I adore! He is a mini dachshund. I also grew up in a home with several animals, so caring for pets has always been a natural part of my life. I love cats and dogs equally, and I’ve volunteered at the Humane Society of the Black Hills as well. I am currently an accelerated nursing student at SDSU and my schedule works well for pet sitting. I also enjoy taking care of animals it’s very therapeutic for me so it works out. I’m pretty flexible when it comes to pet sitting in someone else’s home. I cannot do it in my own because it’s my mother’s house and she’s allergic to dogs. My own dog is with my husband while I am in nursing school. So I will compensate by getting all the love from the pets. I won’t be caring for pets in my own home, but I’m very comfortable providing care in your home and helping your pets stick to their normal routine. I also pet sit for my brother’s dog frequently, so I’m used to managing daily needs like feeding schedules, potty breaks, playtime, and companionship. I’m happy to take your pet on walks and make sure they’re fed, exercised, and getting plenty of attention and affection. I know how important it is for pets to feel safe and comfortable while you’re away, and I’ll do my best to keep things as normal for them as possible. I also don’t mind helping with light household chores during my visits, things like bringing in mail/packages, watering plants, taking out trash, or tidying up pet areas so you can come home to a clean, settled space.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats of every kind since I was 10. Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed and bathe their pets. I’ll have plenty of time to play with your pups and cats! I’m available for boarding, walks, playtime, etc anyway after 2! I love on all fur babies as if they were mine. I love taking them to the parks, on walks, or spending countless hours out with them. I have a dog that loves to play and be around other dogs. I can easily create my dog if need be. I’ll have plenty of time to play with your pups or watch your fur baby! I’m available for all services any time of the day. I have a fenced yard and 1 friendly dogs to keep your fur baby company. I can easily crate your dog if need be for any reason
“Nate did a great job!!!! He was good with our dogs and they loved him. He used good judgment and took great care of them. He goes above and beyond. We will try and book Nate whenever we travel. It’s wonderful to leave town and know that your animals are well cared for. Nate does an outstanding job! Highly recommend.”

About: Hello, my name is Kayla, and I love dogs! I have 2 fur babies of my own I am raising right now their names are Maverick and Isabella and they are 3 and 2 yrs old. my favorite breed of dog is Great Danes... I would love to watch over anyone's fur babies, especially big dogs! I dont mind the slobber, boogers, or even the fur! Dog hair is glitter. Dogs are one of the best animals in the world and I have a strong passion for them. Aside from watching dogs, I like to go on walks and I love to bring my fur baby along, Maverick has 3 legs and I think its important to be on a regular exercise routine. For anyone with special needs dogs I am willing to tend to them too, of course with instructions on their routine. I currently am looking for a job so I am available Sun-Fri. 10am-5pm unless you choose to have me watch your pets overnight that is a special order we can work out. It is temporary that I live in an apartment we couldn't find a house when we moved her so no fence. I do make sure everything is turned off when I leave my home to decrease a chance of fire. I lock my doors. My babies are create trained and they know to go to "bed" (their kennel) when I leave. Any further questions of safety just ask.
“Ashley is amazing!! We booked her for a Drop-in visit to hang out with our 2 dogs. She was punctual, courteous, asked questions and was engaged during the meet and greet. Ashley sent pics of her stay and the dogs/cat looked like they were enjoying her company.”

“This was Cecilia and Kiya's first time meeting. I think it went pretty well. Kiya is a bit of a nervous cat and will stay away until she knows you better. She also has to have medicine every other day and sometimes is hard to catch. She likes having someone in the house all the time so me being gone stresses her. I think the second day Kiya actually played a little with Cecilia and wanted to be petted. Hopefully the next time I have to be gone things will be even better.”

During house sitting, I also keep the home tidy and secure, so you come back to a happy pet and a well-cared-for space.
About: I have taken care of dogs for as long as I can remember. From puppies to seniors, small and big, I love loving and caring for them all. I currently work remotely from home. I take our loving, sweet golden on walks daily with my toddler. She loves other dogs and we would love to add more friends to our routine outings. I am free in the early mornings and afternoons. Depending on the distance, I can squeeze in a lunch walk as well. I have a flexible schedule to be able to care for your furry friend in your home. I appreciate routines and making certain all the needs of my own pup are met. I hope to be able share this care to your furry family member in the comfort of your home.
“If I could give a million stars I would. Stephanie was absolutely heaven sent. David is extremely guarded however by the time it was time for me to come home Stephanie had him eating out of her hand literally. Trinity is a diva that was catered to. I loved the pictures and updates. If you ever need a sitter pick STEPHANIE!!”

“She took care of my girl and followed instructions! No issues my dog was so happy and comfortable. I will definitely be booking again for future visits! :) I needed someone to come hang out with my dog on Christmas Eve and it was so last minute. Extremely grateful!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
