About: Thank you for viewing my profile. Please read it in its entirety before sending a boarding request, as a lot of your questions can be answered in the text. The two questions i get the most are am I home all day with the dogs and how many dogs do you watch at one time? I am retired so except for running errands, etc, your dog(s) will be supervised at all times.I DO watch dogs from different households at the same time, having had as many as 8 Rover dogs at once If this is a concern I invite you to come down and meet us, to see how mellow and manageable it is, and how happy the dogs are to be in the company of other dogs. I never watch a dog without meeting it first so this ensures that everyone gets along and it's a good fit. My mom runs a no-kill animal shelter in Florida so I guess you could say it's in my blood. I currently have 2 dogs (the last dog i adopted was from an elderly Rover client who could no longer take care of him) but i've had as many as 4 at one time. Always small dogs, which is what I'm most comfortable with. I've adopted, loved and cared for dogs through all their stages of life, in "sickness and in health", so I'm quite aware of the quirkiness that comes with a dog that has a history. At the moment I’m not boarding puppies because my older dogs can’t handle all the high energy of the youngsters. Nothing brings me more joy than watching these little dogs come out of their shell during the stay. Their tail going from tucked, unsure, "what am I doing here", to full wag! Many owners have told me that when they get to the top of my hill their dog starts getting excited, they know they're coming to my house and they are happy about it. They march right up my steps with zero hesitation. They might not sleep with us on day one, but they almost always find their way into the bed by the time they leave. My goal is to have them feel like one of the pack, loved and secure, safe and happy. I recently retired after 40+ years in the hospitality industry so I will be home with your dog(s) day and night. There's nothing i love more than being in the company of dogs, so watching them is my passion. I will treat your dog(s) like my own. I live in the Arroyo's, a private beach neighborhood in Arbor Heights, West Seattle. I have a gate on the front door so the dogs can't run out if the door opens, though there's hardly any traffic where I live. I have a fully fenced in backyard, perfect for potty breaks and sunbathing. Your dog will never be left unattended in the yard .Inside I have dog beds throughout the house that move with the sunspot. I have cameras to watch the dogs when i'm not home (spoiler alert, they sleep), and WE HAVE AC!

About: I grew up with dogs, I have been a dog parent to two sweet puppies in my adult life, and I have fostered many sweet puppies over the years. To me, they're all sweet puppies, regardless of their ages. My 5-year old dog Edgar loves to hang with other dogs - he's never met a person or dog he didn't like. When your dog visits us, they become one of the pack, enjoying all the things that make this house a home. I work from home in a very flexible job, so I have the time to look after your dog's unique needs. My goal is for your dogs to be as comfortable here as they are in your own home. They are welcome on furniture and have easy access to come in and out as they please. There is a big fenced in back yard to play in. If your dog needs a home away from home, we've got you covered! You are the expert on your dog's unique needs, and I will follow your lead to provide your dogs with the care they need. I have a spacious, fully fenced-in back yard, and the dogs have free reign to visit the yard as much as they like each day. Dogs will also have free reign inside the house. If your dog's safe place is a crate, I'm happy to work with that. I have a crate I can set up for them, or you can bring your own. There are lots of cozy dog beds, sofas, blankets, and toys.

About: I've had dogs my whole life and had such a love for them. I have my 14 year old diabetic dog, Java, that has taught me much, helped me grow and made me experienced with senior and special needs dogs. Through my love and patience I will provide the best care for your baby while you are away and treat them like my own. I work full time but my schedule allows me to have long 3-5 day weekends. I'm usually home with my dog Java who is on a very fixed schedule to accommodate her special needs. We have a home with A/C that will keep your pets cool in the hot months. We also have a fenced yard so your dog can safely run and play. Our yard also connects to a public park that is great for dog walks.

I’m an animal lover at heart and will give your pet all the TLC :) I’ve had a variety of pets growing up and taken care of my family’s dogs for a number of years and have had cats of my own. I have experience taking care of and administering medicine to senior dogs and cats plus love to go on walks/runs with them. I promise to treat you pet with care and attention as if they were my own. About: Board and Train is frequently ineffective, especially in a kennel environment. Let me housesit and train your dog using the environment where the training needs to continue working! I have worked as a professional dog walker for 5 years. It is the best job ever. Dogs are adorable and hilarious, yes, but the part I really love is trying to understand the motivations behind each dog. I know, food and walks, duh! But since adopting my high-anxiety dog 6 years ago, I have realized there is so much more to the doggie brain. Dog park trips are like an anthropological study for me!! I like to think I'm the Jane Goodall of dogs; I'm flattered when they confuse me for one of their own. Living among the canines has come very naturally to me, and frequently worry about the diminishing appeal of the human world. My mother has legitimate concerns that I'll never find a husband. Some have called me a dog whisperer, to which I say "Have you ever met a dog that whispers?" You can think of me more like a translator. Booking with me helps fund my education so that I can one day save the world. My dream is to help troubled kids find the peace and compassion that I have found in my love for animals. I currently work from home and have open availability. If your dog cannot be left alone, they won't be. My own dog does not like to be separated from me, thus I'm comfortable arranging my life around the needs of dogs!! I use extreme care in assessing the environment to experience it the way your dog is, thus better understand behaviors and antecedent cues, and what is reinforcing the behavior.

About: I’ve taken care of my family dog for 6 years from age 12-18. Now that I’m 25, I have a mini goldendoodle that I’ve had for a little over 2 years now. I’m a proud girl dad and spoil her so much. I’ve always wanted my own dog and it’s a dream come true. What makes it even better is that I live in a 2 bed house in Burien in a quiet neighborhood with a huge backyard. I have no experience with pet sitting professionally, this is my first time doing this but I am confident in taking care of dogs. I am a proud girl dad athlete so I leave early in the morning for practice and I’m back in the early afternoon. My dog is at home alone for at max 6 hrs and I’m at home for the rest of the day usually. I have alot of time with my dog I care for my dog good. My dog has a routine that we follow that gives her all of her needs. In the morning when I wake up I let her outside in the back while I get ready for my day. The door is open so she is able to walk in and out freely for the next 30-40 mins. I then feed her fresh food and leave for work. (She already has kibble and water out for the whole day). When I arrive home from work I take her out to use the bathroom and we stay outside for 30 mins or so for her to sniff around the backyard and run around. We come inside and about an hour later we go on a 15-30 min walk. Then around 6 she has another portion of fresh food. 30 mins later she goes outside to use bathroom. At the end of the night we go outside for one last time and we will play for a bit to get her energy out before she goes to bed
