About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 12. I have grown up with both cats and dogs. Neighbors and friends have trusted me to take care of their dogs for many years. I am willing to spend extra time with your furry friends as needed, along with sending updates and pictures. I am reliable and responsible. I am currently in graduate school and working, I have full days from 8am-8pm on Monday and Tuesdays, I am available Wednesdays before 9 am and after 12 pm. I am available Thursdays and Fridays before 8:30, from 12-1pm, and after 3:30 pm. My weekend schedule is flexible and am able to take care of your animals on both the weekdays and weekends. I am able and willing to stay at your home with your animal. I currently live in a small apartment with two cats and would be unable to house dogs. I am able to give medication/put on a harness/crate dogs as needed. I am super flexible and adaptable :-).
About: I have taken care of pets since I was 11 years old. I have bathed, fed, walked, and played with dogs and cats alike. I love it a lot and animals just bring me joy. I currently work part time at another job so I’ll have time to help take care of your pets throughout the week and keep them company. I am able to move around a bunch to play with your pet! About: I have been dog and cat sitting since I was 12 and worked 2 jobs in doggy day cares and have volunteered in a cat shelter! I am home from University looking to work with some animals/help take care of them in my free time as much as owners need me to! About: I have grown up taking care of many different breeds and ages over the past 19 years from puppies to seniors up to 16. I'm experienced with house training, obedience training, and medication administration (including insulin shots for diabetic dogs). I've had the privilege of pet sitting for many friends, family and neighbors, which has included potty breaks, baths, walks, feeding, and some grooming. All pets I look after always receive lots of attention and lots of lovins, as I treat other's pets I am looking after like they're my own. :) I am in between jobs at the moment, so I have a lot of free time on my hands that I would love to spend taking care of fur babies! -If boarded at my home, I live in a townhouse that is pet friendly and includes surrounding yard areas. I share it with my adopted 6 year old fur baby, Ellie, that is a red lab mix. She is caught up on all vaccines, neutered and sees the vet regularly. Ellie is an absolute sweetheart to all dogs and people she is around. If you or your pet prefer to not be around another animal, I can always crate my pet or keep her in a separate room if needed.😊 -If pet sitting at owner's home, I would be very respectful and follow any and all directions the best I can. If preferred, I can send updates with pictures of your fur baby/babies and how they're doing as much as you'd like.
About: I will care for any type of animal, whether it’s puppies or senior dogs or cats. I am also on the pre-vet track in college, along with participating in clubs like wildlife and vet. In college I don't get the opportunity to see many pets, at home I have a gecko I care for when I'm there, and over breaks I tend to pet sit family or family friends. So while pet care is not in my daily life I have experience caring for pets over many years. Caring for pets either in their home or mine I will listen to their very specific instructions because I know how picky some animals are.

I’ve spent years sitting and walking dogs for friends and family, so I definitely know every dog has their own personality and am happy to cater to them and take whatever time is needed to make them the most comfortable! Growing up there were always 3+ dogs in the house including puppies, seniors, and dogs with disabilities, so I’m equipped to handle all stages of life and different needs! I am patient, understanding, experienced, and ready to give your dog the most loving care! As a student with a part-time job my schedule is pretty flexible! For dogs, that means consistent walks, potty break, and feedings that match their normal schedule. For cats, regular feeding times, litter maintenance, and plenty of attention if they prefer it! Since my shifts change week to week, I will always confirm availability ahead of time and communicate about timing! Your pets safety is my top priority, in your home or mine! I live in an apartment, so I’m mindful about creating a secure, calm place, free of hazardous foods or items. On days I have to go in office, I can add flexibility to my schedule to make sure your pets get breaks. I can’t have other people’s pets in home but I can stay with your pets where they feel most comfortable. I can dedicate my time to may sure they can get lots of love and attention. We have had Bessie watch our dog, Margo, several times and she has always done a phenomenal job. Bessie always takes care of Margo's fundamentals, and also make sure she has a great time with walks and play time. I think Margo seems genuinely happy when Bessie watches her. If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
