About: I have had pets and been around animals my whole life, and I spent time during COVID fostering dogs/puppies for both long and short periods of time. I fostered dogs of all ages, from weeks old to senior dogs, as well as dogs that were sick and required medication. I am currently in college, with most of my classes being on Tuesday and Thursday. On Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday the longest I am in class for is four hours. I am free on weekends, Fridays, and most of Wednesdays. I can evaluate the needs of your pet in any moment, wether it be attention, crate time, or exercise. I can follow instructions precisely in order to prioritize the safety and health of your pet.
About: Hi, I'm Brooke! I'm a senior at U of L and a certified animal lover. I’ve been around animals my whole life, as I grew up with both cats and dogs, and began caring for neighbors’ pets at 10 years old. Since then, I’ve had years of experience with house sitting, daily walks, and drop-in visits for neighbors and family friends, often working through word of mouth and personal recommendations. I’ve worked as both a stay-in pet sitter and a weekly dog walker, and I love meeting new furry friends and making sure they feel safe, loved, and well-cared for. I’ve cared for puppies, kittens, high-energy animals, and senior pets with special needs, and I’m comfortable adapting to a wide range of temperaments and energy levels. What sets me apart is my reliability, communication, and my attention to care when it comes to treating your pets with patience, love, and respect. I am currently a U of L student with weekday classes that I will be attending in-person and will need to be on campus for. Most days I will only need to be on campus for 3-5 hours at a time, so please feel free to message and we can work out a schedule that works for your pets! I always try to meet with the family before sitting or dropping-in so that I understand how any pets are used to their home feeling. I follow all instructions left by the owners, and try to keep a loving and clean environment for the animals. I also try to be very communicative with owners about any questions or concerns, and will gladly provide pictures/videos of animals to the owners request. I also love playing with animals and making sure they get enough activity so they can get some fresh air and love! Additionally, I am a pre-medical student at U of L and have many hours of emergency experience with basic life support (BLS) and have taken a veterinary BLS course. I know how to administer CPR and perform the Heimlich maneuver on cats and dogs. (I do not have experience administering care to additional animals at this time.) I am also prepared to take any animals to the closest veterinary ER in case of emergency.
About: I have been an animal lover and owner for over 30 years. My 15 year old Lab is truly my best friend. He is used to other animals and very laid back. I provide lots of patience, affection and exercise for all animals. We go out 3-4 times per day for walks and potty breaks. Live right by Cherokee Park, which is a great venue for pups. I just returned home from living/working in California for a year+. Therefore my reviews are from 2023 and earlier. Please let me know about anything your pet needs to feel safe and happy. The more information the better. I can handle separation anxiety and other behavioral issues but prefer to know ahead of time. Please make sure your pet is treated for fleas/ticks. If your baby has a history of indoor urination, please provide diapers/belly bands. Happy to accommodate all ages and stages. I truly enjoy the company of animals and also like to walk often. Being in the park and exercising helps lift my spirits. My dog has improved my life in many ways and he makes me a better human. My condo is very pet friendly and permitted by the HOA. Pets are given a cool, calm and comfy environment. Plenty of memory foam beds and free access to filtered water. (Treats also, if owners request/permit). I am almost obsessively neat and always treat my customers’ homes with respect. My goal is to be as unobtrusive as possible. Scrupulous about keeping your home secure while you are away. I ask that you leave clear and detailed instructions to maintain a safe & secure home. Also, for long term services, I do not mind bringing in mail, putting trash/recycle bins out.

Bonnycastle pet parents share their Rover experiences
Jessica did a fantastic job taking care of our dogs while we were away. One dog is nervous around new people and pretty much anybody who isn’t us, and that in turn makes our other dog anxious as well. Jessica was gentle, resourceful, and creative in managing them and their drop-in visits. She also communicated well with us, so we felt our dogs were safe and in good hands. Thank you!

Adeline was absolutely superb!! She watched my 3 cats while I was away getting married and I had absolutely 0 worries while they were in her care. She would send updates/pics daily and let me know of any issues right away and was even able to do medications for one of my fussy guys; would absolutely recommend her to anyone needing a pet sitter!
Jules is the best pet sitter I’ve had since I’ve been using Rover. She checked in on my old girly 3 times a week for me for 4 weeks while our schedules lined up. She was super attentive to Zoe and let me know anytime there was something that may have been wrong or slightly off. I always felt super comfortable knowing Jules was checking in on Zoe for me because I felt it was obvious she truly cared. I also appreciate that Jules was super patient with me with some of my last minute schedule changes I had. I’m gonna miss having her checking in on my girly.
