âLindsey is an absolute legend for taking my dog in for a last minute doggy daycare appointment. She was quick to answer my questions and saved us a lot of stress and frustration after we thought we ran out of options for our dog. 10/10 would recommend! Thanks Lindsey!â
âi had kyrie watch my dog for most of the work day and he was kind to my anxious pup and was responsible with keeping him safe. he sent me pictures and gave him time to use the bathroom. he was quick to respond as well and accommodated for me with short notice!â

About: Iâve taken care of and baby sat dogs of all breeds and ages. Iâve volunteered at the animal shelter FOPAS in Perry Georgia as well. I have 2 of my own doggies, Joe and Ruby! I am currently self employed and have plenty of time to take care of your babies. My schedule is pretty open and I can adjust my schedule as needed too. I have a fenced in yard and two sweet friendly dogs that would love to make new friends as well. I can also crate your baby if youâd like. My dogs are all crate trained.
About: I have had animals all of my life and love caring for and playing with them. I will always treat your animals like my own. I am a stay at home mom of three, so I have open availability. My two older kidd are gone for school during the week. So its just me and my three year old. I have a fenced yard and two friendly dogs who like meeting new dog friends. They would be let out multiple times a day and fed depending in your feeding schedule and played with constantly.
âGreat daycare experience - Nugget came home happy and tired from playing all day! He had a great experience and we would definitely schedule again! Great communication and wonderful family! Thanks for watching our pup!â

âValerie to the rescue again! Excellent sitter, super flexible and great communication. We were on our way for a quick trip to Atlanta and decided to check the fair on our way and Valerie was able to help us with our dog. Second time he has stayed with her and her family when we come to Georgia. Thank you Valerie!â

About: Iâve raised my dog since she was a puppy. We have a nice big yard, and lots of space for pups to run and play! I have a flexible work schedule so I have plenty of time to care for your pups. I am a teacher so I will have the entire summer free! I have a fenced in yard and a friendly dog to keep your pup company also! We live across from a nice neighborhood that is good for walking with safe sidewalks!

About: Hi! My wife Anna Bay and me are avid dog lovers! Our dogs, Ella and Polo, are our children and we take care of them and other dogs like they're our own! We enjoy playing with dogs, running with dogs, going for walks, training and using treats! We would love to give your dog a home for a few days or walk them while you're away. Thank you for considering us, and please feel free to ask any questions! We do ask that you bring a crate/kennel for your dog! Finally, unfortunately due to past bookings we will have to ask that any damaged items will need to be replaced if your dog gets a little curious during their stay! We understand that dogs will play with whatever they find interesting and we will do our best to watch them 100% of the time, but in the small instances where we cannot weâd ask that the ownerâs own the responsibility for replacing damaged items! Thank you for considering us and we hope to keep you pup real soon! Sincerely, Keith and Anna Bay Hutchison
âThis was my first time leaving my puppy with someone other than my self and she did great! Maricely sent plenty of pictures and was responsive to my messages during the day. When I showed up my pup was playing with the other dogs having a blast.â

About: Iâve loved dogs for as long as I could remember, Iâve been around them since I was a child. In high school I started volunteering at the Humane Society of Greater Miami, helping around the shelter initially until being requested to become a foster and completing the training. Animals are so pure to me, they just want love and it speaks to my soft spot because working at the shelter and fostering I saw a lot of dogs with broken spirits, but I loved being apart of their bounce back. Iâd like to help keep your pets feeling as happy and loved as possible, itâs the least I can do. Iâm currently work from home and will be able to spend plenty of time with your pet babies. For pets that require a bit more attention and supervision my mom lives right upstairs and is always willing to help out. I have a large yard and fenced in basketball court for your pups to play in. I go on plenty of walks to burn off some of that energy, Iâve learned to wear them out before they wear me out lol. My home or yours, as long as I have your pets feeding and potty schedule to maintain their routines and their favorite toys to keep them entertained. Feel free to contact me with any other questions.
âMilena âis the most pleasant person you could ever meet. She just took to Brandi and Brandi took to her I would recommend her to anybody awesome awesome. Awesome if you need a pet sitter, I say go with Milena.â

If your schedule changes, itâs best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dogâs fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0â7 kilograms and/or 7â18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pupâs socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dogâs pack, check the sitterâs profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dogâs vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitterâs care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, youâre adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justiceâs National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Roverâs commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
