“Kyrie was an amazing host! He kept us updated about and on our girls! I don’t think they wanted to leave, will be booking again! He is also very understanding especially when we had a time delay!”

“Kristin was absolutely wonderful with our dog! She was reliable, communicative, and genuinely cared. She kept us updated while we were away and made the whole experience stress-free. Our dog was happy, comfortable, and well cared for the entire time. We would definitely book with Kristin again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog sitter.”

“I left my dog Zara with Shaniece to get away for the weekend with my family. Shaniece was very timely in responses, she sent great detailed updates, and cute pictures. I was not worried at all. I knew Zara was in great hands. When we dropped her off she knew Shaniece was good people too. She went straight to her with no problems. I would most definitely book her again. I highly recommend!!!”

“Ladonna and her husband did a fantastic job. She had multiple dogs already when we dropped off Jaela. That was the day a bad storm and tornado came through their neighborhood. I can only imagine what they went through with all the pets they were watching. She also kept us informed and sent pictures of Jaela and her new friends. Definitely will be booking with them again. Finally, Jaela came home smelling good and had freshly washed blanket.”

“Adria and her husband took good care of my Bella. It was very cold outside so not much chance for walks or playing.. but Bella was comfy on the bed with blankets and snacks.”

About: Dogs are active and social animals that need more of a routine than just use the bathroom, lay down,& eat. They need a being of infinite energy to match their drive, but also a responsible leader that allows fun to be had safely. I’m that being. All the hype in the world to rival your crazy dogs energy, but relaxed enough to simmer down for the more down to earth dogs. Big or small, trained or untrained, chaotic or calm, I’m the man for any and every dog. I currently have all the time in the world for your animals! Last minute request or 1 week in advance, I’m there for your furry friends! I keep my eyes on the dogs 100% of the time, especially if they are untrained. Dogs can AND will get into things behind your back and what they can do under no supervision is dangerous for the dog and others. I believe in preventing things before it even happens. Crate training, food training, mental exercises, etc is what I do to have my dog see me as leader that follow my guide. I’m a clean and organized person as well, so tif they think about escaping my all seeing eyes, they have nothing to get into! Once disciplined, they can have some leeway, but still have my undivided attention!
“Our two pups loved spending time with Savanna and her family! It was so nice to be able to get away and not have to worry if they were ok, Savannah sent daily updates and pics which made our day!! Also we appreciated her quick response time! 1000/10 would recommend Savanna to anyone!!!”

“Loved the service with Valerie. She kept me updated with pictures and responded right away with any questions I had. I felt comfortable the moment we arrived for drop off. Would definitely book again.”

“Alexander was a lifesaver when I had to go out of town short notice. He was quick to respond, and didn’t hesitate to watch her. He greeted her with a treat and followed my rules that I have instilled at my house with Honey. I would most definitely use him again in the future. Thank you, again!”

“Jala was the absolute best sitter ever. This was my first time using Rover and she was amazing. She kept me updated about Coco and his activity. She communicated very easily. I will definitely use her again.”

“Outstanding Sitter: So grateful to have found Ray. He took such good care of my Frenchie, including making sure he got his daily medications for his eye. When I picked him up, he looked so happy and content that I knew he enjoyed his stay with Ray and the other small boarding dogs. If you need a sitter in the future, I will highly recommend Ray as a first choice. I will be using Ray for all my future sitting needs!”

About: I have had animals all of my life and love caring for and playing with them. I will always treat your animals like my own. I am a stay at home mom of three, so I have open availability. My two older kidd are gone for school during the week. So its just me and my three year old. I have a fenced yard and two friendly dogs who like meeting new dog friends. They would be let out multiple times a day and fed depending in your feeding schedule and played with constantly.

About: I've worked in animal care for several years, starting at a dog boarding and daycare facility where I spent six years. I began as a kennel technician and worked my way up to general manager, gaining extensive experience caring for dogs with a wide range of personalities, behaviors, and medical needs. I'm currently pursuing a long-term goal of becoming a veterinary technician. In my free time, I foster animals for a local rescue that I'm passionate about. I take pride in using fear-free handling techniques, understanding animal body language, working through behavioral challenges, and providing compassionate care for medically compromised pets. While I'm relatively new to Rover, I've been caring for pets in my home for years. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while giving their owners peace of mind. I'll treat your pets like they're my own and will keep you updated with photos and messages throughout their stay. I work full-time as a veterinary assistant at a local animal hospital. I have at least two days off each week and work a half day on Wednesdays. While I am away during part of the day, I come home every day during my hour lunch break to let your baby out for a potty break, playtime, and some extra love and attention. In the evenings, I enjoy taking dogs for walks (weather permitting) and spending quality time with them. When I have pets in my care, I plan my schedule around their needs. I avoid making additional plans so I can provide plenty of one-on-one attention, playtime, cuddles, and consistency with their normal routine. I do provide care in your home, with the same schedule/availability. Such as; going to your home on my break to care for the pet(s), only sitting for one family at a time, walks, etc. My goal is to make your pet feel as comfortable, loved, and at home as possible while you're away. I have a fully fenced backyard. I also have a pool that is currently being fenced for added safety. My philosophy is simple: pets are never left unattended outside. If your pet is crate-trained or simply feels more comfortable in a crate, I have plenty of space to set one up for daytime or overnight use. I only care for one client's pet(s) at a time to provide the safest environment and plenty of one-on-one attention. I have a designated "dog cabinet" stocked with essentials like pill pockets, peanut butter, and ability to keep any medications your pet may need during their stay. If your pet rides in my vehicle, I use a pet seat belt to help keep them secure during travel. I ask that owners provide a properly fitted harness or collar and leash. If you're unable to do so, I have extras available (with your permission) to safely transfer your pet to and from my home and for walks. I do my best to maintain your pet's normal feeding schedule, so I appreciate detailed instructions regarding meals, treats, and any special preferences. I also always ask about food sensitivities, allergies, or other dietary needs to ensure your pet stays happy and healthy. These apply to in your home as well.
“Milena is the best!! She cared for my fur baby almost the entire week. I was overloaded with pictures and videos which put me at ease while I was away. She cared for Benji as if he were her own. Thank you again for caring and loving my Benji while I was away! ?”

Marley had a great time with Kyrie! I can typically tell how he was treated by his temperament when he gets back home. He came back his usual bubbly self which is a good thing! I appreciated the pictures and feedback while we were away. Looking forward to using his services again!

Christopher did an amazing job taking care of my sweet girl! He communicated exceptionally well throughout her stay and was very accommodating when I was running late for pickup. It gave me peace of mind knowing she was in such good hands. I would absolutely choose him to watch my pup again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter.

Miss. Kenya was great with my baby!!! We will definitely be back. Ozzie made himself right at home in her beautiful home. He was taken care of and I was able to focus on work while away. 10/10. He even came back playing fetch with a ball— he couldn’t do it before. Thank you for taking care of my baby!

Jovetta was amazing she took care of my fur baby Athena like she was one of her own family members. She always made it a point to keep in touch with updates and pictures of my fur baby enjoying herself. I would definitely book her again and recommend her to any one who needs a sitter.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
