When I am not pet sitting, I foster both cats and dogs, which has given me experience working with senior pets, puppies, kittens, and animals that need extra patience and support. The moment he met Aubrey on our meet and greet, I could tell he knew what he was doing and was comfortable, which made me comfortable! I can tell he has a real love for animals, as well as being very personable, professional, and compassionate to towards Aubrey’s needs. Aubrey was rescued at 3 months old and has developed some aggression issues with other dogs, so she is not an easy one to walk at times. She also was diagnosed with a severe heart murmur and underwent a pulmonary balloon valvuloplasty, which John has been very mindful off. John has exceeded my expectations with knowledge and tools to help me help my furchild. 😊 John even brought high grade treats from home to help train Aubrey. He’s been dependable and consistent. He sends amazing photos and videos throughout the day. 10/10, highly recommend. Will be working with John as long as we can. :)”

I have a bachelors degree in animal science, a masters degree in applied animal behavior and welfare and a second masters degree in psychology, so I can handle anything your furbaby can throw at me! I have a wide range of experience from working with shelter dogs in Sacramento to working with cheetahs in Africa to working with sheep in Wales, and everything in between (including teaching chickens to run an obstacle course). About: I’ve been around pets for as long as I can remember. We had cats growing up and when I turned 9 or 10, we got our first dog. It was then that I took on more responsibility as a pet owner. I would regularly walk her around our neighborhood and I spend a lot of time with her in the pool teaching her fun tricks. Ever since then, I’ve taken care of our, now, two dogs and those of friends and family. We have a new pup, after we had to rehouse one of our dogs and our other passed away. I have a flex schedule so I'm absolutely capable of breaking up my shift throughout the day to walk your dog(s) or stop by for a check in! Additionally, we have a weekly gardener and housekeeper to maintain our home and garden. Our expansive backyard, nearly a full acre, is fully enclosed by a chain-link privacy fence. It features a spacious grassy area, automatic water systems for the dogs, and ample shade on the porch equipped with fans. For added security, we have commercial-grade cameras surveilling the property 24/7.

Young, old, special diet, medicine requirements, finicky, playful - I'll be there for them. I have two very independent cats of my own with their own home care routine if I need to be away.
