About: At my house your fur baby(s) will be treated like they are my own! I work at a doggie daycare right near my house, they will get lots of potty breaks and plenty of time to run around and play with my dog or if you prefer they can have one on one. I have a split level with 3 bedrooms so I am very capable of separating dogs from people and other dogs and I’ve worked in daycares where we had to shuffle dogs around due to their preference and needs. My yard is in the process of being fenced (as of August 2020) so I bring dogs to the dog park down the road from my house! For house sitting I am more limited on my schedule as I have my son most of the time except every other weekend. I can do drop ins anytime from 6am-9am and 3pm-9pm. I will make your pup or kitty feel right at home while you are enjoying your trip! I provide daily check ins, with either a FaceTime call to see your little buddy or photo/video sent in text messages! Your pet will also go home with a report card on how well he or she was for me! I have 5 years of experience working at dog boarding/daycare facilities, I started for vet tech at Globe, I own an Aussie border collie mix of my own, I've grown up with dogs, I have worked at pet's mart for 2 years with animal care. I also worked at a dog shelter and I've trained dogs as well. I've house sat for many people's dogs too! I want to continue my passion I Also have a certification in dog training from animal behavior college and have successfully trained dogs since. I have years of experience in dog sitting and cat sitting I even have been in charge of watching over a whole horse ranch which includes breeding Aussies. About: I've had pets my whole life, I watch the pets of my friends and family as often as I'm needed. I make sure they're fed, hydrated and go on walks daily. I also have experience working with blind and deaf dogs. I am on Medical Leave from work and pet care is what I am best at. I am free all day every day including weekends. I am best at caring for pets in other peoples homes. If I'm staying somewhere overnight i bring my own food, towels, blankets and pillows and i'm able to sleep anywhere including couches and floors. I am not able to watch pets in my own home as I live in a very small apartment that pets are not allowed in.

About: I’ve been around dogs and all animals my whole life and an array of animals growing up. I’ve gained professional dog training and handling experience over the last year and a half. I’ve managed large groups of dogs and worked more independently on individualized training. I have 3 of my own dogs and 2 cats so I know how important it is for your furry friends to get loving care while you are traveling. I’m hoping to gain a clientele of drop in dog walking clients during the day on the weekdays. My work can be very flexible, so I can drop in to care for you dog during the work day. I will care for your pet by providing drop in services for dogs where we could go for a walk or play in clients yard if Applicable. Care for cats by dropping in checking food and water, scooping litter, and giving your cat some love.

About: I have my own German Shepherd I have had since she was 6 months. As well as having been around dogs a good portion of my life, I do my best to be what she needs I work very part-time at a dominoes, usually only 4-8 hours a week, i do have appointments on Tuesdays, lasting only about 2 hours so I am always home and have plenty of time for your beloved doggos I do not have a fenced yard, but I do have a firmly secured tie-out and extra leashes for outside potty breaks and/or walks, as well as a 5 year old German Shepherd (she is spade) Who is very happy and animal friendly
About: Have a family of 3 dogs and 2 cats and my family and I love our messy and hyper fur kids, no matter the situation we do research to avoid getting our fur kids sick and keep them feeling loved and relaxed :) I graduated from college this past summer and am working part time jobs so I have time to take care of friendly pets of any kinds and more than happy to house sit as well for any vacations! We have a fenced yard and we have a crate to put them in when they are doing naughty behaviors like digging through the trash or grabbing things (like food on the table) when they aren’t supposed to. I take them on walks and give them toys to play with as they love tug of war and enrichment toys to keep them busy while we are otherwise we cuddle and watch tv on the couch in my free time.
About: I've never had a dog before but I've always been drawn to them and plan to have one of my own in the future. I have dog sitted for some of my friends in the past and it allowed me to gain experience on caring for a pet without having one I work full time but I am available during the weekdays and weekends as needed. I can also stay overnight depending on the day! As long as it is communicated beforehand :) I don't currently have any pets but when I did, I was creative and quick witted to come up with safe, reliable ways to restrict my pet from going into a place they are not supposed to. For example, when I had a cat I used a very tall room divider to prevent my cat from going where he wasn't supposed to.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace.
