“Anna was amazing with our dachshund and our cat. Her comnunication was consistent and her professionalism was impeccable. Our furry babies were relaxed and happy when we came home, so we know they were loved and spoiled while we were gone. We highly recommend Anna as a sitter!”

“She took care of our pets very well, and sent pics everyday! For the most part I was able to relax and enjoy the trip, and when I did get anxious (pet parent 😅) she was always very quick to respond!”

“I had such a great experience with Katelyn watching Oakley! She stayed at my house for the weekend and took such great care of her. She was reliable, caring, and made me feel completely comfortable knowing Oakley was in good hands. I came home to a happy pup and everything in the house was just as I left it. Would definitely recommend her and would love to have her watch Oakley again! ❤️”

“Laura was so wonderful with Boca ? my flights were delayed & she even stayed for a late night walk to make sure Boca would be good until I got home !! Thank you Laura for taking the best care of Boca !!!!”
About: I have taken care of and owned dogs my entire life, I grew up with 15 dogs on 3 acres. I have never not owned a dog with my senior pit coming up on 17 years with me. Currently home full time most days of the week, kids will be in school full time. I can work around your schedule & needs for pick-up, drop-off or drop ins. I live on 5 acres away from all main streets and a private drive for plenty of running space. I have converted my shed into a climate controlled dog house that has a fenced in area for the runners but if you prefer them to be inside I have plenty of space.
“Rachel was so great with Milli. Milli needs lots of attention and can’t really be left alone. Rachel was very attentive to those specific needs. She was fast to respond when I was in a pinch and needed someone immediately. Rachel also was very communicative and shared lots of pictures of Milli, so I knew she was safe.”

“Aubree was SO great with our doggies, Teddy and Millie! We made a last minute decision not to travel with our dogs and she was willing to come do a meet and greet and accepted the job very last minute, thankfully! She stayed at our home and made our sudden trip away for a family funeral much less stressful because we knew our dogs were in good hands. We have an older dog and a middle aged dog with potty issues, especially when routines change at home. Aubree was patient and willing to clean up after them and I’m so grateful for that extra work and effort. She also sent us pupdates while we were away and pictures! Her communication is always positive and reassuring, making it such a pleasure to know her and work with her! We’re already working on scheduling with her for another trip coming up!”

“Tyler is reliable & trustworthy! Would recommend for every one, great job of watching our dogs. They were well loved and cared for. The house was in perfect shape, as well, upon returning home. Communication was 10/10 leading up to & during our vacation. Really was a huge relief to know our home & boys were receiving great care & attention.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs all of my life. I truly prefer them to people and can’t wait to love on yours! After a life time of pet care, very little surprises me. I work with incredible flexibility, and hope at some point to make loving on other people’s fur babies by full time income. Can’t wait to meet your babies! I have a fenced in yard and two doggies to help make your dog feel welcome. I’m also able to crate your animals if necessary.
“My dog loves Simone. She had a great time and is well cared for. My house is also in great condition when I return home. I couldn't be happier and look forward to traveling stress free whenever I need to.”

About: Hey there! My name is Sam and I just moved to Arkansas from Texas! A little about me, I am a mental health therapist and primarily see clients online at this point in my career! I have been an animal lover my entire life. There hasn't been a time in my life where I haven't had an animal living with me (except my freshman year in college, but it was probably better that way!) I started by dog/cat sitting for family and friends back in Texas and that has grown into a side business that I want to bring to Arkansas. I’ve watched all kinds of pets: dogs, cats, fish, bearded dragon, ferrets, bunnies, horses, donkeys, goats, and more! I now only have one cat, Millie, who loves me and pretty much no one else. I miss having pups in my life and don't know a whole lot of people in Arkansas yet so I figured this would be a great way to connect and love on some animals! I hope to hear from you soon! My schedule is mostly consistent from week to week but I work odd hours and times. I work from home so I would be available all day! If I’m watching your pup at my home, I have an entirely enclosed fence so they would get plenty of outdoor/run time. Your pup would have to get along with cats, however mine will typically stay away if she knows someone or something else is in the house!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats for several years for family, friends, and neighbors. I’m happy to complete walks, administer medications, clean litter boxes, and give your babies any specific attention that you require I’m currently about to start the school year, so I am available on weekends, evenings, or early mornings. Depending on the time of year, I may have more availability. Let’s discuss what works best for your needs! I prefer to complete drop-in services as needed due to having fur babies that are very structured in their own routines. Contact me and we can discuss logistics!

“Ella made sure our kitties got plenty of love while we were away! She was able to administer oral medication appropriately. She tidied up after herself- you couldn’t even tell anyone had been here!”

About: I’m the go to pet-sitter for my friends and family. If you’re in a pinch or have a planned time away, I’m your girl! I have had pets all my life and enjoy caring for animals. I’m currently working part-time, so it is no trouble to care for your pets. I love to get movement and laughter into my day, so spending time with your pet is the perfect opportunity for them, and myself! I am prepared to care for your pets in whatever way is best for them and you. It’s important to me to maintain routine and expectations to reduce stress for your pet while you are away.
About: Being a dog owner myself, I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet. I focus on keeping dogs comfortable, safe, and feeling at home while you’re away. I genuinely love dogs and already take care of one of my own, so I’m used to daily walks, feeding schedules, and giving them attention and consistency. What sets me apart is that I don’t just “watch” dog, I care for them like they’re part of my own household, because I already live that way with my own pet. I run a real estate company, but most of my work is done on my computer so I’m home and available throughout the day. I occasionally step out for short periods, usually about an hour or less, but I’m generally around and able to give pets attention, care, and consistency. I care for my own dog daily, and he’s older so I’m used to giving extra attention and following a care routine. I handle his eye drops and medication, and I’m very attentive to his needs like feeding times and when he wants to go outside. He’s well trained, but more importantly I’m used to being observant and consistent with him. Because of that experience, I’m comfortable adapting to any dog’s routine and following specific instructions to make sure they’re cared for exactly how their owner prefers.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Blue Springs Village walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Blue Springs Village maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Blue Springs Village choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Blue Springs Village. On Rover:

- 100% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
