“Christie was excellent. My puppies loved her. While we were away, she sent me pics of the puppies every day doing something in their normal daily routine. She took them for walkies, which cemented her and their relationship because it is one of their favorite activities which we told her was optional because they get super excited and is like walking a team of pulling sled dogs. She handled it with ease. When we returned home after the "happy to see you" reunion, the puppies were calm, full of tail wags, and going back to Christie to be petted and loved on. Christie also watered my garden for me while we were gone. She is very neat and tidy and the house was exactly mirror to when we left the week before. Our puppies have limited access to other people so they are suspicious of all new people they encounter, Christie won our dogs over with ease because she has a very gentle, kind, and genuinely caring nature as person. About: I've personally owned many different types of animals throughout my life including rats, racoons, squirrels, ferrets, hamsters, rabbits, chickens, goats, dogs, and cats. I currently own 3 dogs (Great Dane, an Australian Shepherd, and a Lab mix), 2 cats, and 6 chickens. I worked as a groomer and a broader for a while at a pet store. I understand every animal has certain needs that need to be met for it to live a happy and healthy life and I will work my hardest to meet those needs. I'm a stay at home mom that has plenty of time to hang out with any animals that may need it. I'm very comfortable with any animal I meet and I love all animals. Also available for farm animals and reptiles. I'm a stay at home mom with kids in school so I am pretty available all day long every day. I stay at home on most weekends too so I'm available almost 24/7. I have 3 separate fenced in yards they may use. My personal dogs are crate trained and I have crates available for others to use. I can keep them completely separated from my personal animals very easily or they can play together after a safe introduction.

About: I’ve had dogs throughout my entire life, but currently I have a 7 year old golden retriever I treat like my child! I’ve always trained all of my dogs myself and participated in many safety training classes regarding training. I am currently in graduate school and unemployed, so mostly it’s just me and my golden at home most days, so I have plenty of spare time to help in your pet’s care! I am open to boarding and house sitting, but also happy to do drop-ins or just walks! I have a big fenced in yard and a sweet golden who loves making new friends to keep your pup company! About: I am the daughter of one amazing veterinary technician, I couldn't resist joining the field myself. Growing up, we had almost every animal you could think of, and I love all creatures big and small. In my 15 years of veterinary experience, I've had the pleasure of caring for so many of these wonderful creatures. I am very patient and understanding when it comes to animals, and I think they sense it. I know the do's and don'ts for many animals, especially cats and dogs. I've given subcutaneous fluids, insulin, made sure medications are given on time. I am capable of noticing signs in animals that would require a trip to the vet, or when they are needing a little extra T.L.C. I would be honored to care for your loved ones. So your baby(s) will never have to be in need and they will receive the full time care that they deserve. I have a fenced in yard that my dog absolutely LOVES to run and play in. The house I moved into has 1 unoccupied fully furnished bedroom and my bedroom is always open for snuggles at bedtime. My house is my pets house, they are allowed on the furniture, and there are toys, beds, and blankets for them everywhere. However, if there are certain rules and training that needs to be followed I will be more than happy to accommodate. My Violet (45lb Black Mouth Curr mix) is only a year old so she has a lot of fun playing with other dogs big and small, she sweet, kind, and gentle. My cat Thackery Binx is an 8 year old cat so he normally just sleeps in his cat tree or sees what I'm up to in the kitchen. I have plenty of room to accommodate your furry loved ones, and all the comforts of home. My pets are fully vaccinated and I would be happy to provide their paperwork upon request.

About: I have always loved animals and have taken care of one kind of animal or another for as long as I can remember. As a teen I volunteered at animal shelters, then as adult I became a foster for the Humane Society in Jacksonville Florida for years before moving to Birmingham last year. I miss having the opportunity to care for a variety of animals and getting to know them if only for a short while.
