La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham knows that pets are part of the family, and they welcome cats and dogs, in designated pet-friendly rooms, to most of their locations across the US. While we always recommend that pet parents call ahead of booking to learn more about the specific location’s most up-to-date pet policy, there are a few helpful guidelines to note:
- No more than two (2) domestic pets are allowed per room.
- Select locations may have a pet weight limit. Please confirm by calling the hotel at the time of booking.
- When you check in, let the front desk staff know you’ll have a pet in your room.
- A current contact number must be left with the front desk and an optional pet fee may be charged at check-in ($20 per night for maximum of $40 per stay per room). Authorized service animals are not subject to a pet fee.
- Pet(s) must remain within your control at all times, either on a leash or in a carrier if outside your room.
- With the exception of authorized service animals, pets are not allowed in the breakfast area, the fitness center, the breakfast area, or the pool.
- If your room requires excessive cleaning, or if damages are incurred as a result of your pet’s actions, the hotel may charge for additional services and repairs.
To make staying in a hotel easier for both you and your pet, make sure to bring familiar items to make them more comfortable like a blanket, toys and treats. You can also expect to need to keep your dog on leash in public spaces, so having their favorite collar, harness and leash at the ready makes it easier for everyone.
