Catering, dresses, and cakes are important, but your wedding wouldn’t be complete without your pet by your side. If you’re looking for the best places for dogs in weddings in Toronto, you’ve found them. Check out our list of the best dog-friendly venues in the area.

1. Glenerin Inn

The motto of the Glenerin Inn’s experienced wedding staff is “one wedding at a time,” and they are dedicated to helping make your unique wedding dreams come true. The stone Tudor-style mansion and carriage house are reminiscent of English manor houses. The picturesque grounds include rolling lawns, bubbling streams, and manicured gardens. Indoor and out, this location is filled with beautiful backdrops for your wedding. You can choose from five rooms or an outdoor patio as the center of your event, and work with the wedding professionals to make the day your own.

Your dog is welcome to attend your ceremony on-leash, but he needs to go home for the reception. A Rover sitter could handle this part of the day for you. Venue pricing ranges from $1,500-$15,000.

For a charming country wedding, you can’t go wrong with this picturesque farm estate. You’ll have access to an array of unique indoor and outdoor spaces, including the rustic two-storey barn, Grain Bin Bar, outdoor fire pit, and extensive decking and lawns. For a celebration of fewer than 50 guests, you can have your ceremony in the adjacent timber frame home and a cozy tented reception. Whichever location you choose, you’ll have beautiful views of the surrounding countryside.

Your dog is welcome on-leash at your ceremony only. You can find a Rover sitter if you need someone to care for him at a separate location while you continue the celebration. Pricing for this venue ranges from $5,500-$11,500.


Willow Pond Lakefront Lake Simcoe Cottage Estate 7

This all-inclusive venue run by experienced wedding coordinators will take all the stress out of your special day. Willow Pond will help you arrange all the details from hair and makeup to photography to catering. The Cottage Estate on the lakefront of Lake Simcoe is a beautiful backdrop for your ceremony. The tented reception space can accommodate up to 150 guests, and you can use the nearby well-appointed cottage for yourself or overnight guests.

Your dog is welcome to attend your ceremony on-leash, but he’ll need to go home for the reception. Find a Rover sitter to care for him while you finish your celebration. All-inclusive pricing for this venue ranges from $15,000 for 30-40 guests to $49,000 for 150 guests.

This venue in the heritage area of Toronto’s Entertainment District will give you amazing ambience and flawless service. The in-house event coordinators, sommeliers, talented chefs of The Fifth are ready to help you create your perfect day. This light-filled loft space in the century-old Gelber warehouse has floor-to-ceiling windows, a built-in DJ booth, and several full-service bars. This open floor plan can be transformed for a variety of wedding styles, from intimate ceremonies to sophisticated cocktail receptions.

The Fifth welcomes dogs in weddings if they are on a leash and go home after the ceremony. Rover sitters are available if you need someone to watch your pet while you continue the party. Pricing for this venue ranges from $20,000-$25,000.


5. Hazelton Manor

Whether you want a small, intimate gathering or a grand celebration, the team of talented and experienced wedding professionals will help you from the beginning stages of planning through to the end of your big day. The in-house catering team’s comprehensive menu can be tailored to meet your needs, and you can choose from two elegant ballrooms with crystal chandeliers, checkerboard floors, and detailed woodwork.

Your dog is welcome on a leash during your ceremony but needs to go home for the reception. You can find a Rover sitter to care for him at a separate location. Because of the range of options, pricing can be determined by contacting the Manor.
