“We had Lucas sit our 4 y/o mix retriever in our house who is energetic but timid & very attached to us. He did an excellent job looking after her by making sure she had appropriate interaction time, play time, feedings, etc. He also gave her the space to deal with us being gone. All-in-all when we returned she was more relaxed and that was due to how well Lucas took care of her and her not having to leave her home for care. About: I've been caring for dogs, cats and all types of farm animals for over a decade now. I really enjoy helping animals feel safe in whatever way I can and providing a sense of comfortability. From sweet cuddle bugs to reserved loners to senior geezers, all are welcome in my book. Whatever type of tail I'll love them regardless. I have little gremlins of my own, but that doesn't mean I'll prioritize yours any less. I can work in these timeliness almost always. If it's more than two weeks in advanced I can likely adjust my schedule. I am always respectful of boundaries both that you have and that your pet has. I like to spend extra time on walks or sitting with my clients fur babies to make sure they are comfortable and having a fun time with me. If they seem unsure I dont push them, I give them a little space. For eating I always assure if there's more than one animal they eat apart from each other to ensure no one gets too possessive over their food. Safe, comfortable, and fun are all important when thinking of your pet.

About: I currently work as a bather at a grooming salon where I regularly work with dogs and cats of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. Additionally, I have worked as a vet assistant at a veterinary hospital in Fredericksburg ,at dog daycares, and at boarding facilities in the past, as well as have personally owned and cared for dogs and cats my entire life! I currently work full-time at a grooming salon, but I find time while I’m off to care for pets! My schedule is available on my page. I have the utmost respect for both your home and your furry family members. As such, I treat every client, pet, and their property as if they belonged to family.

About: I have had dogs ever since I was little but didn't start being able truly experience the responsibility of taking care of dogs until about 12. Caring for my dogs has served as a great example throughout my life of showing me patience, unconditional love, and loyalty. Over the years I have had 6 dogs with 3 being the ones that I was old enough to care for. All of them with their individual, outgoing personalities have been a joy in my life. A stand out experience I've had with my dogs, has to be currently with caring for my elderly and sickly dog, Yoshi. He is a 10-year-old Husky-Akita who has an autoimmune disease called Pemphigus Vulgaris which severely affects his skin. Out of my family of 4, I have been his primary caretaker; administering his medicine when he was on it, researching different remedies to help him, bathing him to soothe his irritated & itchy skin, making him a natural ointment to treat his wounds, and changing his diet off of dry dog food to a medley of Freshpet dog food and steamed vegetables. Although the process is trying, I see him as God's animal and I feel I've been given the responsibility to care and love him unconditionally as animals were made to do the same for us. I am a freelance graphic designer who works from home so I have open availability to provide animal care. Mostly available Sun-Fri, Limited availability on Saturdays I have a small yard but live in a housing development that is dog friendly with lots of sidewalks and trails that provide dog waste trashcans. Besides walking, I provide feeding, brushing, bathing, administering ointment or medication, and lots of love and attention.

About: I've watched pets of family and friends since I was a kid and always enjoyed it. I always make sure to spend plenty of time and give them as much attention as they want. For dogs, I did walks, gave bathroom breaks, play time, cleaned up accidents, and fed them. For cats I'll do the same, except walks. I am available everyday for the foresable future, on the bright side that leaves me with no commitments where I won't be able to watch your pets For my own cats, I fill the water and food bowls daily, as well as clean the litter boxes. Throughout the day I provide them with affection or a warm lap/bed. For dogs I will make sure they're completely safe outside and watch for any other dogs or cars. Inside I will do the same with my cats.
