About: Hi! I’m Meaghan, a 24 year old college student, and I’ve been working in veterinary medicine since 2022 as both a Veterinary Assistant and CSR. Through my work in vetmed, I’ve gained lots of hands-on experience caring for animals and understanding their individual needs, personalities, and routines. I have also helped my aunt with her dog-walking and drop-in pet care business, which has given me even more experience caring for dogs in their own homes and keeping them happy, comfortable, and well cared for while their owners are away. About: Hello my name is Aléna, I’ve been taking care of animals since I was little. Animals are so amazing to me and I love their personality’s. Looking forward to meeting you pet. My availability is really open, don’t have any dogs of my own, but grew up with them. I miss the connection. So I thought, I would put myself out there, to help service them. In my home I care for my cat Bella by giving her lots of love and making sure to keep her litter box cleaned and let her have her outside time around the yard. My cat Toby, I give him treats and try to teach him some tricks. Give lots of attention and time to play with his toys. He’s a little monster but I love him. Having a clean environment is not only necessary for your animals but yourself. I do the litter box multiple times a week.

About: My family has had dogs my whole life, I spent lots of my time caring for out puppies by feeding them, giving them baths and brushing them, administering medication, and most importantly, playing outside and going on walks!! I’m a preschool special education paraprofessional and am out of work for the summer months and love pets and going on walks!! I have very open availability during this time and once school starts back up in mid August, I will have open availability on weekends and early morning (before 7:00am) and afternoon availability after 3:30pm! Some safety measures I take with pets is triple checking leashes/harnesses are securely attached before heading outside for a walk, having strong leash control and minimizing distractions to prevent any accidents, not leaving them unattended, sticking to their provided diet/keeping human food out of reach, and making sure I have all the information I would need on the pet and the owners just in case of an emergency.

I was quite anxious to leave him home alone, especially with the recent passing of his cat sibling. I booked drop-in visits with Rachel and she was great!
