About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover who recently moved to the area after spending the last 24 years in Washington state. With all the kids off to college, I’m now enjoying being a stay-at-home dog and cat mom and would love to use my extra time to help other pet parents feel confident that their animals are happy, loved, and cared for while they’re away. I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life, and I grew up on a farm surrounded by a variety of animals. Caring for animals has always been something that comes naturally to me. I understand that pets are family, and I treat every animal in my care with the same patience, kindness, and attention I would want for my own. After years of working in a busy career, I especially appreciate having the time to slow down and enjoy the companionship of animals. I’d love to help dogs get some exercise, attention, and affection during the day so they aren’t stuck at home alone for hours while their families are at work. In the past we used this service to make sure our pets were well cared for while we were at work. I have worked in surgery for close to 30 years and now that I’m home full time, I want to fill my time with things I love and make me happy. I have a fully fenced backyard with a swimming pool. I do have one standard poodle, who is super friendly and ball obsessed. I do have one cat who is a rescue from a hoarding situation and loves to play with dogs.We have a large home with all kids off to college. Animals sleep with us.

I have been retired for 5 years now. I would love to be able to take care of someone’s animal. Whether it be just a few walks or just checking in on them to make sure they are safe and happy. I can feed and change litter boxes, provide play time or just a check in while you are away. I know how precious our fur babies are to us as I have 2 cats of my own. I was quite anxious to leave him home alone, especially with the recent passing of his cat sibling. I booked drop-in visits with Rachel and she was great! I really appreciated the time that she spent with my cat. I could tell that she was very attentive and caring toward him. I also loved the selfies/pictures she sent during most of the drop-in visits. I’m here to make a comfortable space for your pets and a peace a mind for you. Im available any day on the weekday after 5:30pm! I work a regular 8-5! And weekends are available after 6pm.
