About: I would love to take your dog for a walk or hike in and around the Woodstock area. I have many years of experience owning dogs and cats, and dog and cat sitting for friends since I was a kid. I have also spent time walking dogs at animal shelters and am trained in pet first aid and cpr. I love big dogs, little dogs and anything in between :) I'm usually available during the day and some evenings and weekends. I love to hike and would also be happy to hike with your dog. I'm passionate about health and wellness and natural living. I'm originally from the UK but have been living in NY for over a decade. I live in the Woodstock area with my two daughters, our two rescue dogs and our rescue kitten. I’m usually out walking dogs in the morning and working from home in the afternoons. My dogs love to play with other pups and we enjoy going on long walks or taking care of pets in our home. I’m also available for drop in visits at your home, or for your dogs to stay at our home while you are away. I always keep dogs on the leash and make sure we get plenty of time outside. I have plenty of dog toys and beds in the house for playing and naps.

About: I am a life-long animal lover and an experienced walker and sitter for dogs. I also am great with cat care. I have over 25 years of pet care experience and provide catered attention for each pet I sit whether in your home or mine. I can provide references beyond my Rover testimonials, as I am still relatively new to the app. I have worked in pet care privately for several years. I am a full-time dog walker and pet sitter. I am available for daily walks and pet sitting - whether for a day, week,or longer. I am available to care for your pet in your home if preferred !! About: I didn’t get to experience the joy of growing up with dogs or cats but as soon as I was able I began taking in fosters from the NYC shelter system. It was quite a learning experience spending time with many dogs (and a few cats) of all different types and personalities. I no longer foster but I bring the experience and dedication from working with so many shelter pets to caring for your furry family members. And as a pet parent now myself I have been through many sitters so I understand what makes a good one! A note on boarding and meet and greets: I’m happy to have boarding candidates come by to meet me and check out the space but I do not do meet and greets with my own dogs. My dogs are dog friendly but they are too chaotic and excitable to meet new dogs and owners right away. New dogs are kept separate at first and introduced at their own pace when everyone is calm. This minimizes stress for everyone and allows for better interactions. I currently work out of the house Monday/Wednesday/Friday but my schedule is somewhat flexible. The rest of the week I work at home and I am often available all weekend. Dogs in my home have access to a securely fenced large yard for running and fetch, as well as a quiet neighborhood for walks. If the weather is warm dogs have access to a dog door so they may go outside as they please. If your dog likes to play with other dogs mine will certainly be happy to accommodate but they can also have separate spaces if quiet time is needed. In your home I will make every effort to keep your pets schedule as familiar as possible while offering lots of love and stimulation. As someone who has had many sitters come through and stay at my house I understand the importance of trust and cleanliness so you can be away without worry.

About: I am available to walk/do drop ins/some house sitting &/or overnight stays & cat sitting/drop ins anytime in the Shandaken, NY area. I have many years experience with animals, three grown kids & I am an avid animal rescue supporter including having my own rescue animal. I am not able to provide in home care due to my Rescue dog being touchy with other animals, especially dogs but am available anytime for walks/drop ins, cat care, etc.... About: Hey there! I've walked and sat dogs (not sat on) on and off for the past 16 years, as part of dog sitting agencies and doggy daycares, for friends and family, as well as for my own dog. Caring for furry creatures is one of the most therapeutic antidotes to city life, and because dogs and other animals put me in such a good heart and head space, I'm always present with them and return the favor. I've cared for very young puppies, as well as elderly dogs and cats with special needs. I also have experience with birds, having owned birds myself. I've administered inhalers for asthma and walked dogs twice my size. I love every animal I come to meet, even those who don't warm up right away.
