About: Animals have always been a big part of my life. I have over 5 years of experience caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities, including my own pets and my professional experience as a kennel attendant at a pet daycare. I’m experienced with walks, feeding routines, baths, medication, and providing care for pets with different needs and temperaments. I understand that every pet has their own personality and routine, so I take the time to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. My goal is to give your pet the same attention, patience, and love I would give my own. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to give pets the time and attention they deserve. I plan my days around making sure each pet gets proper care, playtime, walks, and check-ins without feeling rushed. I treat every pet like they’re my own. I focus on keeping them safe, comfortable, and following their normal routine so they feel relaxed while their owner is away. About: My boy kitty passed away last year at 14 years old. He became very sick in his last 2 years so his care required daily shots, weekly vet visits. I became very proficient in giving pills by mouth as well. He was big and strong and didn’t like the vet or car rides so i learned how to best manage a very scared kitty. My mom had a senior dog who developed diabetes so I cared for him in my home for the last few years of his life. I gave him insulin shots twice a day and performed his medical care. I gave him meds by mouth and performed other care duties. I work part-time and am in school at ODU online so my hours are flexible. I live in the Richmond area and service a fairly wide range as I have my own reliable transportation. I prefer to pet-sit in the clients home as I have a cat myself. My grandma rescued hunting dogs, particularly hounds and beagles, when I was growing up, so I am safety minded when it comes to pets, especially ones who get scared easily.

About: I have taken care of dogs ranging from 10 pounds to 160 pounds my entire life. I have owned chihuahua dachshund mix, akitas, huskies, and German shepherds; so I understand big breeds as well as smaller ones. I have helped family members and neighbors with their dogs growing up with house sitting and dog walking. I know how important furbabies are to families, and treat each and every one as I would my own. I currently work full time with every other Monday off. I go to work about 7 am and get home about 430 pm. I do have volleyball leagues on Monday Wednesday and Friday nights that I am gone for 2 hours between 6-11pm as it varies based on game time. I love to hike and be outside so taking the dogs for walks a non issue. I treat all furbabies as if they were my own. I adjust my schedule accordingly to accommodate the animals as best as I can. I have given insulin shots and medication to animals and am comfortable with it.

Litterboxes don't scare me and I understand that some cats need a while to warm up to a new face. I'd love to care for your kitties. I currently work from home, so after hours I love to get out of the house. It's the perfect time to come see your furbabies! I can spend evenings and weekends with your furbabies! Or for extended periods of housesitting, if there is adequate wifi and space, I can work from your place if you prefer someone be there around the clock. About: I've been dog sitting since covid; things have changed but not the love for animals. Since my start I've dog sat for a wide varity of dogs. Puppies, oldies, big, small. Some requiring a lot of attention to help distract them, some that just sit by the door waiting for their pawrents to come home. From medications to special diets, specific schedules and give attention if you have the extra time. I will treat your dog as my own! Something you can count on is they will be loved and well taken care of. Pet care is my top priority. Making sure they are fed on time and they get plenty of play time and walks while you are gone. I unfortunately can't accept pets into my home as I don't currently live alone. But I'm more than willing to stay over whenever you need me to.

About: From wolfhounds to chihuahuas, I have petsat them all! I have experience with giving medicine, assisting senior dogs with mobility, exercising, playing, feeding, and giving all the affection needed. Petsitting would be split with my workday on Monday -Wednesday. I can come in the morning, during my lunch break, and spend as much time as needed after work with your pet. Friday through Sunday I can do as many visits and walks as necessary. It is safer and better to build trust with any animal if there is a meet & greet before petsitting. This helps me know the routines of your household and shows the pets that I'm not a stranger when I come to care for them. Sticking to the routines/key words they know, engaging them with praise, play, or treats, and letting the dog/cat have space when needed - are all ways to help your pet be at ease.
