About: I have lots of compassion when it comes to animals, and I have years of experience working for cat/dog rescues as well as pet transports, I currently have a four day weekend at my current job and have way too much free time! I also have no problem with early mornings or late nights! I have two small dogs that I take for a couple walks a day, and I Help prepare their food which is home made and all natural. I also have a cat with urinary tract issues so I’m used to keeping their litter boxes spotless.

About: Welcome to C & L’s Cozy Dog Retreat I have 2 pups, Chip & Lucy, ages 11 & 8, that I have raised from puppies. Many of my friends have dogs, and they frequently come over. I also enjoy riding horses when I can. I have experience working with anxious dogs & dogs in shelters also (as a volunteer). I love taking dogs for walks, playing with them, & give them attention. I limit the number of dogs I take at any given time so each pup gets lots of individual attention. You can see some of the dogs I have walked/played with in my profile pictures. I’m frequently in the Chestertown area and am more than happy to help with your pet-sitting needs. I offer drop-off and pick-up for your pups' boarding. I am available 24/7, Monday-Friday. I accept boarding and doggie daycare on a limited basis. Please message me if you are interested. This ensures I can give each pet the attention they need while ensuring safety. I am also happy to do multiple check-ins a day while your friend stays in their familiar home. I have a fenced yard and 2 friendly dogs. I can also kennel your dog if needed. A meet-and-greet with the dogs would be required before any overnight stays with us. Also, proof of immunizations.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats of multiple kinds since I was 12. Mainly family animals but I would watch friends pets as well. I am currently a stay at home mom for the next 4-5 years, so I have more than enough free time on my hands at the moment. I have a huge fenced park right behind my apartments so they are able to play all day as needed. In addition to the park, I have a ton of space in my apartment and a friendly dog of my own who loves to play. I have a variety of dog/cat treats and toys!

About: From caring for 10 senior dogs at a rescue, to bathing dogs that got sprayed by skunks, to training and taking dogs on their own outings to parks and nature hikes, you name it I’ve done it! Even flying with dogs! ✈️ I have experience with all breeds, ages, and like to keep pet parents informed with notes & pics. Growing up in farm country taught me to love and care for all animals, but dogs and cats are by far my favorite. I also have experience in administering medications to our furry friends. I left my career of being a nanny in CA to move to the east coast to marry my husband. That was 2019, and I’ve been boarding/caring for animals since then. I’m currently a stay-at-home wifey so the dogs get 100 percent of my attention when they are with us. We live in a 3 story townhouse with a small unfenced yard in front of our home, to a large grassy area on the side of our home, to a giant green grass patch directly behind us just out our back door. The neighborhood is VERY dog-friendly with lots of sidewalks and comes complete with a dog park in walking distance. Our home is dog-friendly meaning dogs are allowed on all furniture and we even have doggie steps for little pooches to get up on our bed if they wish. We also have a 2mile + walking path near us. So we have plenty of activity options. We even have Pluto cartoons for your pet to watch! Pets get 100 percent of my attention when they stay with us. Their comfort and safety is my priority as I do pet care full-time. Our home has no place that’s off limits to your pets. If they want to snuggle on our bed or relax on our couch or even be in our guest room - they are more than welcome wherever they are most comfortable. We even have a massive bean bag most animals love thinking it’s a giant dog bed 😂.

About: I've always been the go-to gal for my friends and family who need care for their pets. I've made many furry friends over the years. I'm a freelance writer with lots of freedom to come and go, so my schedule is pretty flexible. If you need pet care on short notice, I'll do my best to accommodate. Your pet can enjoy the comfort of its own home while I come over and cater to their needs. We'll become the best of friends!

About: I have always worked with animals!, From things like working at animal shelters to actually raising a dog while being in college for over the last year for Guiding eyes for the blind! I have great experience with watching and training! I do some work with animals like dog sitting for guiding eyes but other than that I don’t have much else taking up my time, other than school I have a fenced yard and two lovely dogs who are very playful! And a family who is very loving towards dogs and supports me with their care! I also love animals just overall no matter what they are!

About: I got my first dog ever a decade ago and I raised him to be perfect, with no professional training for either of us. Then, I quit my ten year career in digital marketing to follow my passion and work entirely with dogs. I worked as a bark ranger at Bark Social and made dog safety my top priority, drastically reducing humping and the ensuing scuffles. I loudly advocated for a transformation of safety rules while I worked there. I volunteer at BARCS and am aiming to get advanced training for different dog behavior needs. Howie is my top reference. I adopted my second dog (Shadow) after instantly bonding with her at my old job. Shadow is bonkers and her parent has health issues, so Shadow needed a home where she can be her true self. Dogs are my world and I will give your pet all the love and affection they deserve (which is all of it because they are perfect). *just bought a house so boarding and daycare will reopen in September* Dogs run my life and I wouldn’t have it any other way. The only thing I can see myself doing for the rest of my life is working with animals. I’m all in so I’m available most hours and most days. I’m literally with dogs 95% of my life so dogs are my daily routine. My dogs will love becoming best buddies with any pet that boards or does daycare with them! All boarding and daycare clients will have an apple AirTag tracking chip affixed to them for the duration of our time together (if wearing a collar). I use a hands free leash attached around my waist so they’re stuck with me. I also use their handheld leash as a backup. I have a private fenced back patio, so there is always a secure outside area for your dog. My house is a few blocks from Patterson park, giving them plenty of outside opportunities. My training style is radical love. Your pets will know they’re cared for and will get plenty of positive reinforcement from my end! I have two extremely friendly dogs, so there will always be friends for your pet. Dogs run my household and life revolves around them. Your dog is in safe and loving hands! Please bring a collar for tracking. I prefer using both harnesses and collars when taking them for walks, but one or the other is required. You will also need to bring any food or other things necessary for your dog. I only have Shadow’s crate at this time, hopefully with another coming soon, so also bring your crate if your dog is crate trained. They won’t need one if they don’t typically use one though! I love this community and plan on staying here for the rest of my life. You’ll have a dog guy for life!
