“We were worried about leaving our senior kitty for a week, but Heather and Wes took such great care of him. He was clearly happy with all the love he received during their visits and looked happy and healthy when we returned. We are so grateful to have such wonderful petsitters to care for our boy when we're away!”

“Our kitties adore Jean but this time she went the extra mile. Literally. In the snow. We were out of the country during the blizzard of Jan '24 and she came extra to check on the kitties after the power went out, through over 18 inches of snow. We are thankful for Jean. The photos she sends are a highlight of our travels.”

“Tia is great! Very quick with communication. She unloaded my Chewy and Smalls boxes for me, cleaned up the **yucks** from my kitties and super dependable. Very kind and loving person and it was so nice not to worry about my babies!! Thank you, Tia! I will definitely be using her in the future!”

“Katie was fantastic! From the meet & greet to swinging by early to grab keys, her Rover reports were always descriptive and full of great pictures. My cat seemed to love her, I’d definitely book again! 👏”

“Jenna did such a good job leaving daily updates and photos. My cats loved her from the jump and I felt super comfortable leaving them knowing she would be taking care of them 🫶🏻 I will be booking with her again in the future”

About: I am a current dog mom and have experience with a variety of dogs and cats. I would love to care for your fur kids! I am an active person and enjoy being outdoors. I work full time and nearby with varying hours that allow me to care for pets. I always ensure my dogs’ safety by keeping them in a fenced-in area or on a leash. I value each dog’s unique personality and tailor services accordingly.

“We've used Lizzie numerous times to watch our 5 cats. They are on 3 different foods and fed in 3 separate rooms. 😅 She takes care of our babies flawlessly despite how high maintenance they are. Love her!”

“Sydney was great with Jax and Gemma. They can be very excitable but after being away and cared for by Sydney they were calm when we arrived home. She was very communicative while we were away and I could tell by the pictures she sent that they enjoyed having her look after them! I couldn’t have asked for anything more from a sitter and will definitely be booking her if we go away in the future!”

“She is fantastic!! She's patient and very caring. I don't trust too many people, but I completely trust her. She took amazing care of my dog and spent some extra time with her when she was sad. Just an incredible young lady, and I highly recommend her.”

About: I’ve had the pleasure of taking personal care of numerous dogs over the last 30 years. The dogs I’ve personally cared for have been various sizes - from less than 30th lbs to over 80lbs. I’m comfortable in caring for all sizes. I love all dogs!! I have a huge fenced-in yard with both sun and shade. I have a 2.5 year old neutered male cattle dog mix (Thor) who is the love of my life. He loves all people and all animals. He would love to play in our yard with your dog(s). In the last year I was employed by a high-end doggy daycare and boarding business as a Pet Care Technician. In that capacity I watched over and cared for numerous dogs - both large and small. I cared for and loved each one as if they were my very own. I’d love to care for your furbaby as well! I am currently retired from work as a Pet Care Tech at a high end doggy day care and boarding business. I’m available on weekdays and completely available on weekends for playtime and care of your pup! I have a large fenced-in yard and a playful 2.5 year old cattle dog mix. Playtime, sunshine, and love await your furbaby. If your dog is older or more laid back, then laying in the yard sunbathing and plenty of snuggling time sounds wonderful as well.

About: I have experience with dogs from any age and any breed and temperament. I am also knowledgeable on giving medication (both oral and via injection). In the summer, I work part-time during the days (anywhere from 9am to 5pm), however when my college classes start up in the fall, I have much more time to spend with your pets! Before each stay, for both my and your comfort, I tend to plan a meeting to get to know your animal and your space better! I find that in person meetings with pets before housesitting exponentially improves the quality of the experience for both me and your furry friend. Complicated instructions/"trouble" animals don't deter me, either. I will play, feed, walk, and clean up after your pet for as long as needed!

About: My family got a dog while I was in high school, and I’ve been hooked since. My family’s first dog is 12 years old, and I currently have 4 dogs, all husky mixes. I work weekdays from 7 am - 5 pm. I am able to accommodate your pet before and after work as much as necessary. I am off on weekends. I offer walks, drop ins, and house sitting for both dogs and cats. My house is full with 4 dogs of my own so I do not board. Your fur baby is my priority! I’m very attentive to animals, their moods, and their needs.

“April was amazing! She really helped us out on short notice and on a holiday weekend. Piper was happy and healthy and not anxious at all when we got back! Would definitely book again.”

“Rebecca is an amazing cat sitter who truly cares about your pet. She took plenty of photos and gave our kitty Merlin a great time full of love and fun while we were gone for a few days. Definitely would recommend her if she’s in your area!”

About: Hi! We’re Lindsay and Matt, just a couple of 30yos who love dogs! Lindsay has always had dogs in her family and always will. She’s been caring for dogs ever since she was little and she has a knack for training them too! Her family loves to send their new pups to her whenever one joins the family. Matt adopted his first dog, Lola, when she was 6 months old and inspired his mom to get a dog of her own. We got to spend 8 wonderful years with Lola, part of that time was learning how to support her in her new life as a tripawed. In our families we currently have 6 dogs (4M & 2F) altogether at family holidays. In our home we have an 8yo male Corgi, Thor and earlier this year we added Stella, a Golden Retriever. Our dream would be to one day run a sanctuary for all kinds of animals 💜 Lindsay’s schedule has some flexibility as she can work from home, Monday through Friday. Matt works Monday through Thursday with some Fridays working from home. Currently, since Stella is still pretty young, we don’t leave her kenneled more than 4-5 hours at a time. So any pets in our care would be in good company the majority of the time. We have a privacy fenced in yard with friendly puppers to keep your pet company if they need some socialization. We have the availability to crate XS to Large breeds, as well as give them their own space within eyesight and earshot if needed. We respect whatever care and rules you may have for your fur baby in your home as well as visiting ours, for example: “fur baby isn’t allowed on furniture at home so please don’t encourage them on yours”. Our pups are big snugglers so they cuddle on the couch with us often.

“I am thrilled to recommend Melissa as a pet walker and sitter on Rover.com. As a devoted dog owner herself—proud mom to two wonderful pups, Gemma and Duke—Melissa understands the love, care, and attention that our furry companions need and deserve. Melissa treats her dogs like family, and it's clear that her affection for animals runs deep. She’s patient, attentive, and genuinely enjoys spending time with dogs, whether that means going on long walks, playing in the yard, or simply offering cuddles and company. Her dogs are well-loved, happy, and clearly thrive under her care. If you're looking for someone who will treat your pet as if they were her own, Melissa is the perfect choice. She’s reliable, responsible, and most importantly, she brings a warm and loving energy to every pet she meets. Your pets will be in excellent hands with Melissa.”

Cathleen H.
“Cathleen is a great human and has always been attentive and compassionate with her dogs and our dogs whenever we visit! Years ago one of our boxers got sick and she helped us get him healthy for our road trip back to Minnesota. Recently she came north to visit (with her current dog Thor) and our dog fell in love with her and Thor. I would (and do) trust her (and my dog) with our lives! No worries at all!!”

Luke O.

“Very patient, just what I needed. Excellent service.”

Isabelle E.
“Izzy is a pet-sitter that came to me highly recommended and certainly lived up to that. She followed instructions to a T, put in the time and effort to make sure my critters were well cared for, and fulfilled all the needs I communicated to her. She did an excellent job and I will not hesitate to book with her again. Her love of animals and dedication to their care makes her an exceptional candidate, and I highly recommend her for any/all pet-related needs.”

Lindsay M.
“Lindsay is one of only 3 people I have trusted to look after the 2 dogs I have had. She is extremely compassionate and patient with both of my dogs. One of my dogs is highly anxious and nervous and Lindsay is wonderful about getting on the ground with him and allowing him to come to her on his own terms and timeline. Now he is very excited to see her and welcomes her every time she takes care of him. I cannot recommend her enough to take care of your furbabies.”

Courtney was amazing caring for Peanut. Peanut likes to hide when we are gone. We did show her his hiding spot. She was great at sending us pictures of him. And as time went on, he even came out of his hiding spot and rubbed up against her leg. So that was amazing!! She took excellent care of him and I would highly recommend her!
