“Kayla and Jacob took amazing care of our energetic lab. The property was great for our dog to play and explore. Their family treated our dog as one of their own, making us feel at ease while we were away for an extended time. Would definitely use again!”

“Alisha and Joshua are fabulous and take such good care of my pup. This is my dog's second time with them, and I will definitely ask for their care in the future.”

“Mike was great at communicating leading up to and during the boarding. Our dog Frankie warmed up to Mike and his wife Sherri very quickly. She got lots of exercise and was in such a happy mood when we picked her up. We were very happy to meet Mike and will be excited to have Frankie visit again.”

“Jennifer went above and beyond to ensure our families fur babies felt loved and comfortable! We received wonderful updates during their time with Jennifer that made my heart and mind feel at ease. I will use Jennifer for any future boarding needs!”

“My dogs had a wonderful time at McKenna's house! They got along great with Jaxx, and I could tell how happy they were from McKenna’s daily updates. Both of my dogs are seniors who need extra care and medication, and McKenna took good care of them. She was easy to communicate with and always attentive to their needs. Highly recommend!”

“Kathy is everything you want in a dog sitter! My anxious, not-very-social dog has a new bestie....Kathy! He had a fantastic stay with photos sent to me of him zooming around the yard or cozy on the couch. We already schedule two more weekends and Mack is excited to return to his new friend, Kathy.”

“It was a true pleasure to have Mana & Kento care for my sweet 11 year old dog, Mana gave me helpful updates and was on top of her needs with medication and needing slower walks. I only needed one night but would feel completely comfortable to have my dog here for longer stretches in the future.”

“Kristen was great with Rumi! She sent me daily reports on how Rumi is doing and gave me that peace of mind knowing he’s well taken care of. Kristen is warm, kind, and great with dogs!”

“Bella was absolutely wonderful with our 10-month-old JackChi, Tucker! From the moment we dropped him off, we knew he was in caring hands. She kept us updated throughout the day with pictures, videos, and messages, which gave us so much peace of mind. It was obvious Tucker was having the best time playing with Bella and her sweet, playful dog. Every update showed just how happy, comfortable, and well cared for he was. When we picked him up, he was a happy, tired pup who had clearly had a fantastic day. Bella genuinely cares about the dogs she watches, and it shows in everything she does. I highly recommend Bella to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring pet sitter. We’ll definitely be booking with her again. Thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of our Tux, Bella! We truly appreciate you.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Bethel
Our dog had a blast on the farm and she didn’t want to leave. Kayla and her family treated Millie like part of the family. We loved the photos of her snuggling with them on the couch after a long day of playing with other dogs outside. The perfect property for dogs to run and play. Easy, great communication during the whole 12 day stay. We will book with them again!

Alex did a great job watching our 3 pups! She sent lots of photos and kept us updated on how they were doing. She was flexible with pickup and drop off times as well. We felt comfortable knowing our pups were staying with her! She has a large yard with plenty of room to play. Highly recommended!

We love Tiffany. We never go on vacation unless she is available. She sends pictures of my pups having fun, messages how they are doing, and gives them loads of love and attention while they are away from their family. Her home is always clean, the backyard accessible, and plenty of toys and pup sleeping spots. We highly, highly, recommend Tiffany! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Melissa and her family did such a good job taking care of Luna for a LONG 17 days! Luna is high energy and needed a place to feel safe but also a home away from home, and Melisaa provided that. She sent daily photos of Luna. Luna loved playing with her sons and Wishbone, the family dog. We will use Melissa again and recommend you give her a try!

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Bethel home-away-from-home, packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Bethel.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Bethel sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
