“Dogs were fed, got attention and time outside, and happy! We left some detailed directions because one dog will get destructive when left alone, and Billy was great about making sure those things got done. Thank you so much! Would definitely reach out to him again”

“Kristen did such an amazing job caring for our dogs while we were away. Our plans changed slightly and she was very accommodating and responsive to help however needed, which we appreciated so much. Will use her anytime we can and highly recommend, thank you!”

“Juliana was great, always detailed in her notes, helped my poor sick puppy and cleaned up after him when his tummy was upset. She sent pics daily and was on time, or communicated if there was a delay. I really appreciated her putting MeiLi’s bows in daily and brushing her hair as well. Great job and would definitely recommend!”
“Samantha and her son took wonderful care of my dogs while I was out of town. From the very beginning, I felt completely at ease knowing they were in good hands. They gave my dogs plenty of cuddles and belly rubs, which made all the difference, my pups were clearly happy and well cared for. Samantha was also excellent with communication, responding quickly to my questions and staying consistent with her home visits. I truly appreciate the care, reliability, and kindness she showed. I will absolutely be rebooking with her, she’s earned my trust and loyalty for the amazing care she gave my dog children”

“Royce had several drop in sessions with my puppy. She was so helpful to help out with my Dobby while I was away. Royce was communicative throughout. She was responsive to messages and changes throughout the week. She always provided useful updates at the end of her visit with the best pictures. She followed instructions as they were given to her. I would definitely use Royce again & would recommend her to anyone!”

“I have large guardian breeds, and finding someone I trust with them isn't something I take lightly. Kate has consistently exceeded every expectation. She's calm, confident, responsible, and has a natural ability to connect with dogs that can be intimidating to most people. What truly sets her apart is her proactive communication. I never have to wonder how things are going because she's already sent an update, photo, or thoughtful note before the question even crosses my mind. She treats communication the same way she treats pet care—with attention, professionalism, and genuine care. Kate has that rare combination of reliability and intuition. She notices the little things, anticipates needs, and makes both pets and owners feel completely at ease. Whether it's managing routines, handling strong personalities, or simply showing up consistently and dependably, she does it all with grace. My dogs don't hand out trust easily, and neither do I. Kate earned both. If Rover had a Hall of Fame, she'd be in it.”

If you would like additional references or information, don’t hesitate to message me to find your answers! Let me know what attracted you to my Rover page! I work a rotating overnight shift at an emergency hospital. This schedule includes every other weekend. Let me know what your normal home routine looks like! “Woof woof…. Miss Kaylyn stopped in to see us while Mum and Dad went on something called "Date Night", whatever that is! We don't like being left on our own but Miss Kaylyn gave us lots of lovies, cuddles and treats. She took lots of pictures and sent them to Mum and Dad so they would know we were being the bestest puppies! We give Miss Kaylyn 5 paws out of 5. We highly recommend and will have her come back, or stay with her, as soon as we can convince Mum and Dad to go away again! Mum here…. Not sure how the puppies managed to type this without me seeing, but we agree with everything they said. Kaylyn is very communicative, sends photos and updates and both our pups fell in love with her when she came by to meet them.... says everything we need to know! We will most definitely book with her soon. Its so great knowing we have someone to love on and care for our pups when we cant be here.”

“Kalli was awesome! She took excellent care of our pets and gave us regular updates so we didn't have to worry. I would highly recommend her and I'm sure we will be using her again.”
About: Since a young age I've been caring for animals of all sizes. Whether it was finding a small homeless kitten and nursing it back to health at 7 years old, to starting my own dog walking service at 8, to currently working in an animal hospital caring for patients. Animals have always been a huge part of my life. My family has always known this was the field for me and I wouldn't change a thing. Even the most difficult animals deserve love, attention, and comfort. Big or small, I love them all. :) My current schedule varies between hours and days. Feel free with any questions or concerns you may have! Thank you so much for your time! i hope to hear from you shortly! I part time at a dental office, so this gives me more time to spend with your furbabies and sending updates on their staycation at home! Any updates to my schedule and I will immediately notify you. I have a fenced in large yard. My pets are crate trained but also enjoy company of friends! If your pet needs a more socially limited time, I am happy to accommodate that as well.
“Tristan was awesome! We have a 16 year old large dog Gigi who can be skittish with new people and Tristan was patient and kind and won Gigi over. I highly recommend Tristan!”

About: I have had animals my whole life, my experience has entailed caring for dogs in their basic needs, maintaining training and working on other commands, as well as taking them to any appointments that were in order. I really enjoy time spent with dogs, and just like me I understand that most people consider their dogs to be family. I like meeting new dogs and learning all their little personalities. I would be great as a sitter or walker because I genuinely care about animals and feel that they make life so much more fun and enjoyable. I have experience with both larger breeds and small breeds so I am comfortable around all different kinds. I wish I could have more animals so this is the only acceptable alternative :)

“Leah was absolutely amazing!! She did WAY more than she needed to and everything she did put me so at ease that my dogs were being well taken care of. Will be using her again 10/10 :)”

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
