“Kate was a great choice for our dog while visiting the area. She always responded back very promptly and immediately put me at ease when I dropped off Alta. Alta had a fun day playing with her dogs. She took her for a great walk and sent lots of pictures! I would definitely recommend her.”

“Our dogs Otis and Allie had a wonderful stay with Luanna and family. She was awesome with communication and we would gladly use her services going forward.”

About: Your home or mine! I have raised goats, llamas, horses, cattle, chickens, turkeys, dogs, cats and bunnies. I have much experience with different breeds, medication administration, and my demeanor is calm and patient. I live on 8 acres of peaceful, quiet fields and forest. My schedule allows me to spend much time with my guests and I thoroughly enjoy going on long walks on trails and swims in the river. I am also located by many local inns and am happy to care for your pet while you are at dinner, off exploring, or are unable to bring your dog. I work part time, and I work close to home so I am able to run home if need be. On work days, generally I am not away from home more than 5 hours at a time. I am not by any major roads and live on a quiet deadend road. my home is situation in the middle of my 8 acres. There are fields, a small pond, and woods with trails, and extensive gardens. Dogs are always leashed unless I know the dog incredibly well and its recall to me is flawless. If the dog is outside, I am with it. No runs are used. I love to walk on woods trails and I avoid places where I might run into others with dogs. My primary concern is keeping animals safe, calm, active, and happy. My your adult daughter lives with me and is also a well respected pet sitter so we often serve as each other's back up should one need to leave the house.

“What a wonderful place! The Ponderosa for dogs. Susan was so good with him and took him out on long walks in the woods with her own friendly dog along. Stratton was happy, and active, and I felt he was in a safe, trusted place with friends. Highly recommend Susan and her Ponderosa (not a human size Ponderosa, but dog size Ponderosa).”

About: 🐾 Need a place for your furry friends to hang for the day? Overnight care? Visiting the area and want a safe place to leave your dog for an afternoon of two? Going on vacation? Regular day care while you are at work? Playtime and exercise? Walking and check/ins? I can do that! 💕 I currently have one 30lb lab mix, Ruby, who is a year old- she is very sweet- loves other dogs and people! 🐾 We go on at least one long walk in the woods on our property every day- sometimes adventuring to the river for a dip, or out on the local, less-popular hiking trails. We know all the secret spots ; ) 💕 I love having a little dog pack around, and love watching them play and run together. I believe in providing plenty of outdoor time for playing, sniffing, exploring, listening to nature, or sitting in the sun- whatever your dog needs to be happy! I will meet them where they are at to ensure they are comfortable in a new environment. Leashes will be used until we are sure it’s fine to take them off. 🐾 Trained in basic doggie 101-we usually have basic manners and recall in practice for healthy treats and affection-especially for puppies- and can provide a crate, comfy couch or bed if your pup needs a space to retreat. 💕 My only requirement for care in my home is that your dog must get along with other dogs and cats. I will gate the stairs to keep some separation, so if your dog is “cat curious” but intimidating, they will all have their own space to relax. 🌟 Local residents of Chatham, Conway and Fryeburg looking for regular care (3 or more days a week) please reach out about joining the “Wolf Pack” for discounts/ local rates! 🌟 🐾 I work from home mostly, and have a flexible schedule. Pet care is perfect for my lifestyle! 🌲 We are outside a ton- gardening, hiking, xc skiing, swimming- adventuring on our property and in the surrounding National Forest. 🐾 I would prefer dogs that are good off-leash and have good social skills- I will always keep your dog on leash if I feel they are not okay otherwise. I only take 3 at a time the most, in-addition to my own pup. We live on a very private property with an open yard offering plenty of space to run and play. We have a comfy animal-friendly couch and a screened-in porch with a queen-size bed for your pups to nap outside without being “loose”. I have one pup who will be happy to keep your pup company! They will be able to go in and out freely in a natural home setting, (as long as they are okay off leash) and your dog will be cared for like our own. If I visit your home, I would typically have my dog with me to play with yours- unless you specify otherwise. Each visit would be an hour of play and affection, outdoor time, feeding, water, etc.

“She was honestly super amazing, sent photo updates, and my dogs were happy and super tuckered out upon pickup! They were definitely taken well care of!”

“Roberta was great with our little Homer ❤️ She played with him in her big backyard, took him on walks, and even a little hike. We are always nervous about who we leave our pup with, and Roberta made us feel very comfortable. She sent us pictures and videos each day. Very responsive and flexible with drop off/pick up times. I highly recommend her. We will be using her again!”

“Amazing. Great communications. On time. Happy dog!”

About: Hi, My name is Jasmine, I live in a house, with an unfenced yard, but there are plenty if parks around where I live if you want them to play unleashed. I have a 2 year old son who loves animals as much as I do. I am available tuesday through thursday and on weekends.I love bringing my dog to the park to run! I'm a huge animal lover, and have had my own dog (Max) for 7 years now along with my 4 rabbits. I am very good with training (especially when they're puppies) and would love the opportunity for more experience. I can take them for walks about every 2 to 4 hours depending on travel time. If you would like to contact me you can do so on here. I hope to hear from you soon!

“I had a minor medical event which resulted in my having to stay an extra night and Celeste was very flexible and took the best care of Edie. Edie was very happy to run and play in Celeste's yard with other dogs. I highly recommend!”

About: Hi there! I can’t wait to meet you and your dog! I am a dog lover through and through. I grew up around dogs- goldens and Airedales, which taught me from a young age how to care and understand the needs of our furry companions. I started walking and sitting through rover while living and at school in Boston. I’ve lived in the Mount Washington valley for 3 years now and decided to start rover again! I know how important finding a responsible, safe, and loving home/sitter is while leaving your pup somewhere new. My goal is to provide a home that will feel like their own! Finding a sitter should be easy for owners and a fun experience for your dog. My partner and I adopted our sweet Wilson (aka willy aka little man) a couple years ago and had the pleasure of raising him since he was 15 weeks old. I have experience with pups and older dogs, though I prefer to take care of dogs that are potty trained. Wilson is great with other dogs (he’s an extrovert) and seems to win the hearts of dogs that usually don’t care much for other dogs. I am a remote worker and have flexibility for short walks and potty breaks during the day. When I’m not working, I’m usually hiking, running or exploring the whites with Wilson. I’ll care for your pet, as I care for my own! (Spoiled). You can trust that I’ll provide the care that I’d expect from someone caring for my own dog. I have high standards of care and know what it’s like to drop your dog off for short or long periods! I’ll communicate as you’d like and send videos / photos to keep you in the loop

Emily P.
“Our pets are intrinsic family members. Finding someone trustworthy, I feel safe with, to petsit, is very important to me. My Smokey, basset hound, spent a week with Penny in her home over the holidays and was very well taken care of. I could sense Penny’s love of animals immediately upon arriving at her home and meeting us. We received photos and updates daily of Penny & her family enjoying Smokey’s company. They took daily walks in the snow, played, cuddled for movies , and he blended right in. All instructions on food & care were followed to a T! I could tell Smokey was well loved and that made my travels less anxious and more enjoyable. Smokey was happy to see me upon my return, but I could tell he had snugged his way into Penny’s heart & home very comfortably! I will definitely be connecting with Penny when I need to travel, but not able to bring my pets with me. Penny cared for Smokey as if he was her own loved pup ! I highly recommend Penny as a petsitter !”

She is an outdoorsy, adventurous and healthy person. I always feel confident and comfortable leaving my animals in her care :)”

Sarah B.
“Sarah is not only a consummate professional, she is conscientiousness and caring. She was so incredibly patient while caring for my elderly dog, (for 3 weeks!), who had very specific medical needs. She was communicative and thorough in relaying the type of care she provided. Sarah also comes from a family of Airedale-lovers...and her doggos are the rambunctious sort! I have seen her handle her own pups (3!) with reams of positive energy, kindness, and authority. My suggestion? Hire Sarah. She understands dogs and their needs. I was so pleased with the service she provided that I have no hesitation recommending her as a walker. She will love your furry friend as her own.”
