“This is the first time I have used Rover, and as well the first time my golden retriever Bella stayed overnight with someone she had never met, and in a new home other than her own. Christy is AMAZING. She was extremely responsive and helpful when I was booking her services. We were gone for several days and daily she sent me alot of wonderful pictures of Bella which reassured me she was being well taken care of. Christy took Bella on long walks in a very scenic area, gave Bella lots of love and sent me lots of pictures. Knowing Bella was with Christy make me feel so comfortable. About: I have taken care of all types of animals since I have been a kid. I started with a chocolate lab and an Australian shepherd. We then got a couple goats and chickens we used for shows and for eggs. We now have another Australian shepherd, a chocolate lab, and a 1/2 Great Pyrenees and 1/2 Anatolian shepherd. I can understand different types of dogs and their mannerisms as well as meet whatever needs they might have. I have also already dog sat for one of my professors and will be sitting for him again soon! I am currently in Physical Therapy school at Plymouth State so I am able to take care of animals in the late afternoon or night during the week and whenever is needed on the weekends. I have a large shared home with 2 other roommates who are also great with animals. I love to go on walks with dogs and play with them for however long their heart desires. Other animals will have lots of space to hangout in my apartment if needed or hang out in the owner's home doing whatever is normal for their daily routine.

About: I have two English Springer Spaniels- A two year old and a 1 year old. I am able to care for a wide range of needs- puppy care, senior care, bathing, medications- really whatever your needs are just let me know. I’m retired, so I have plenty of time to help you with your pet needs. My schedule is flexible, let me know how I can help. We have a large fenced private yard off a quiet road. We have two Springer Spaniels who are my world, I also have a 5 year old Grand dog who is a Springer as well who visits often. I know how important getting out for adventures are, and having your pets loved and cared for.

About: I am a nurse by trade and a dog/cat mom by choice! I’m an animal lover who’s been caring for pets since childhood. My pets are my family and I’ll treat your fur babies with the same love and respect I show my own! I am a nurse anesthesia student with an active lifestyle so I am typically doing school work during the day but in my breaks I enjoy hiking, running, trips to the river, etc. I understand nuances of pets and the importance of sticking to certain parameters within a dog's routine. I know how important it is to me that Libby is well cared for when I'm away and I hope to be able to provide that to other pet owners as well! My work in the healthcare field speaks to my responsible nature and my commitment to the best interest of your pet! I am a full-time student so I am home most of the day and generally take breaks to walk my dog and get some exercise. I’m available for potty breaks as frequently as your dog needs and have a fenced in backyard where they can run around and play. Walks are a part of our everyday routine. I’m a very affectionate person with pets, but also recognize when they want their space. I will definitely be interactive with your animal, but since I am studying, I am not able to play with them around the clock. However, breaks to give belly rubs and take walks are the highlight of my day! I prefer that dogs are crate trained in case I leave the house for a short period of time. I am open to discussing this if that’s not what is best for your dog!

“Robin is fantastic. She made Edith Ann’s stay this weekend very easy - from great communication to pictures of the pool party with the other dogs to arranging a pick up that worked with my schedule at the end. I’m sure this won’t be the last visit with Robin!”

“Peter and Sarah absolutely saved me when I needed a very last minute board for my two dogs. Peter responded immediately and they had no reservations taking on one old lady and one young active pup. My girls were made to feel at home right away. They both got all the exercise, love and attention they needed (and they can be some needy ladies). Peter and Sarah asked a ton of questions about my dogs and aimed to keep their stay away from home as if they never left the comfort of their own house. If I were a dog, I wouldn't want anyone caring for me other than this duo.”

About: Being raise in a house full of pets I just know how special they can be for everyone. I don't know what I would do if I didn't have a cat or dog in my home. I have always wanted to take care of dogs and cats as a profession. I have cat sit and dog sit for family and friends since I was 14. Feed them, Bathe them, Walk them, the whole nine yards. I love animals with all my heart and I know how important it is to take care of others pets. I currently am working very low hours at my job due to slow season and this is my fun little side job! I am available Sundays and Mondays for all services. Walking available 10am to 5pm, Daycare available 10am to 5pm and Boarding available starting at 10am to drop off at my home. I have two pets. A cat and a puppy. With that my house is a very safe space. My cat and puppy are my world and I always make sure they are cared for no matter what it takes.

“Pemi had a wonderful time with Charlotte. We felt so good knowing Pemi was so happy and being well cared for. She played at the park and snuggled with them at home.”

“Our baby Kai had a great stay with Effie! She stayed for one night as we traveled in the area. During the stay, we got timely reports on her status and acclimatization (including pics), Effie was very responsive and kind with providing those updates. Kai came back in a wonderful mood, which shows how comfortable she was with Effie ;) We'll definitely be happy to use Effie's services in the future.”

About: Please read my entire profile: Hi there! My name is Britt, and I live in Tamworth, NH. I am the proud owner of two cats and one dog. Between 2014 and 2021, I worked as a kennel supervisor at an animal care center, where I took care of 50-120 dogs every day. I am also a certified veterinarian assistant and have experience in administering medication through various methods such as IM, IV, SC, PO and topicals. Currently, I am attending college part-time to pursue my BS in Environmental Science. In 2016, I started pet sitting after witnessing how some animals were affected by being away from their homes while boarding. I noticed that while some were okay, others were incredibly uncomfortable and anxious. As a result, I decided to offer pet sitting services. I am generally available throughout the entire day on weekends and during the week before and after work. Facebook: Happy Tails In-Home Pet Sitting ** Medications: No charge for PO admin, however, $5 charge per IM or IV, $10 per SC. ** Dog Walking & Drop Ins: My profile is set to available 11am-3pm Mon-Fri. This is not true- unfortunately I can't set my availability for that time only for weekends. I am available 5-6am or 3-6pm Mon-Fri and open all day Saturday and Sunday. (Walks are winter weather permitting) ** It's important to note that I do have a full-time job, so I won't be present at your home 24/7. However, I assure you that I will take care of your pet(s) as if they were my own. Besides cats and dogs, I also have experience caring for chickens, goats, and exotic animals. ****** One more thing to keep in mind is that I prefer not to book or accept payments through Rover. I accept payment via check, cash, Apple Cash, PayPal, or Venmo. Thank you! ****** During the week, I work in Fryeburg and have a half-hour lunch break. If you live nearby, I can take short breaks for bathroom visits. While I'm not home, I can either crate your dog or close any baby gates or doors to confine them to a specific area. My dog has access to two rooms of my house, including his crate.

About: Hi there! I can’t wait to meet you and your dog! I am a dog lover through and through. I grew up around dogs- goldens and Airedales, which taught me from a young age how to care and understand the needs of our furry companions. I started walking and sitting through rover while living and at school in Boston. I’ve lived in the Mount Washington valley for 3 years now and decided to start rover again! I know how important finding a responsible, safe, and loving home/sitter is while leaving your pup somewhere new. My goal is to provide a home that will feel like their own! Finding a sitter should be easy for owners and a fun experience for your dog. My partner and I adopted our sweet Wilson (aka willy aka little man) a couple years ago and had the pleasure of raising him since he was 15 weeks old. I have experience with pups and older dogs, though I prefer to take care of dogs that are potty trained. Wilson is great with other dogs (he’s an extrovert) and seems to win the hearts of dogs that usually don’t care much for other dogs. I am a remote worker and have flexibility for short walks and potty breaks during the day. When I’m not working, I’m usually hiking, running or exploring the whites with Wilson. I’ll care for your pet, as I care for my own! (Spoiled). You can trust that I’ll provide the care that I’d expect from someone caring for my own dog. I have high standards of care and know what it’s like to drop your dog off for short or long periods! I’ll communicate as you’d like and send videos / photos to keep you in the loop

18. Sarah B.
“Sarah is not only a consummate professional, she is conscientiousness and caring. She was so incredibly patient while caring for my elderly dog, (for 3 weeks!), who had very specific medical needs. She was communicative and thorough in relaying the type of care she provided. Sarah also comes from a family of Airedale-lovers...and her doggos are the rambunctious sort! I have seen her handle her own pups (3!) with reams of positive energy, kindness, and authority. My suggestion? Hire Sarah. She understands dogs and their needs. I was so pleased with the service she provided that I have no hesitation recommending her as a walker. She will love your furry friend as her own.”
