“Collette is amazing! I’m a new dog mom so I definitely can be overbearing at times but she handles everything perfectly. So glad I have her to walk my pup for me while I’m at work 💗”

“Kristen is timely, takes good photos, and gives great descriptions of the walks she takes with our pups. We know what kind of experiences they had and we can see the route they took on their adventure. Kristen is professional, kind, and flexible. Your animals would truly be in great hands with her.”

“My dog, Mason, & I both loved Natsuki! She was very responsive in messaging and thorough with her care. I received lots of pictures & updates that made me feel included throughout the days. About: I have over 15 years of pet care experience, including caring for my own pets and petsitting for friends and family. I’ve looked after dogs and cats of all ages and personalities, and I truly love spending time with animals. I have three cats of my own and have experience administering various types of medication, including oral meds and topical treatments. I also regularly care for several community cats, so I’m comfortable working with shy, independent, and less social animals. Whether your pet is playful, anxious, energetic, or aloof, I’ll provide thoughtful, loving care that meets their unique needs. I primarily work from home over the summer so I have extremely flexible hours in June, most of July, and part of August and can provide care any day of the week. Available in the morning, afternoon, and evening. I am fully an animal person, not a dog or cat person. I own three cats and grew up with dogs, and I love them all. Am willing to play, give scritches, or be ignored, all for the love of pets.

About: I’ve cared for cats since I was 8 years old. My friends and family know me for helping wild animals whenever the opportunity arises. I have a senior cat now. As a result, friends often turn to me for tips on how to provide extraordinary quality of life to their pets. I’m about to venture into graduate school, and am seeking a part time job in the meantime. Rover will ideally be additional income for me. I provide stability and routine—two things I find extremely instrumental in pet care. I keep a strict feeding regimen, schedule play times, and provide various opportunity for enrichment.

“Lucy was fantastic! We did a meet and greet beforehand, and I could tell right away that she was someone I could trust. She was wonderful with my dog, followed all of my instructions, and kept in great communication throughout, including sending plenty of photos. I’d absolutely book with her again if the need comes up!”

About: Hello, my name is Rylie! I am such a dog lover! Although I never owned one myself, I enjoy taking care of others to fill that void. I have been dog sitting since I was about 10 years old for multiple neighbors. Many would describe me as responsible and passionate since a very young age. I even attended many dog training classes for a puppy I babysat for two years. I am excited to continue my journey of taking care of dogs and other animals and ensure that owners will have enjoy time away without any stresses. I have lots of available time throughout the day to take pets on walks, feed, and check up on. I can ensure you that your pets are my top priority. The first and last thing I do before leaving a client’s house is checking the perimeters of the house to make sure assure there were no accidents made. I make sure there’s nothing your pets can get a hold of and chew on while I am taking care of them.

About: Hello! My name is Marissa. I have had a dog in my family all my life. In fact, when I was a transfer I took up dog obedience and agility training with my family dog. I have taken care of all types of dogs including seniors as well as puppies. I also volunteer at the animal shelter and there I deal with all types of dogs from various backgrounds so I have experience with behaviorally challenged dogs as well. I have also taken care of cats and some have grown very attached to me. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out! During the summer I have very open availability and I am free most weekends and during the week all day. Since I work as a teacher, during the school year I am only available before and after work as well as on the weekends. I am very respectable of others property while still giving the animals personalized attention. I make sure to spend as much time as possible with them. I work with them and have learned to be very patient with other cautious animals.

About: ~ At a Glance ~ - 10+ Years of Dog Care Experience - Walks, Drop-In Visits & Overnight Stays - Experienced with Oral, Injected, and Topical Meds - Cat and Dog First Aid & CPR Certificate ~ My Experience ~ I am a recently graduated young professional currently working from home. I have over 10 years of experience caring for dogs and cats. I began pet sitting for a neighbor in 2014, but I've been responsible for family pet care since I was 8 years old. These duties include: - Feeding - Cuddling and playtime - Walks and potty breaks - Administering medications - Baths, light grooming and hygiene care - Litter box cleaning and litter changes - And more! I have experience administering oral, topical and injected medication. I have experience with special needs animals, puppies and senior dogs. I’ve also completed the Cat and Dog First Aid & CPR course through the American Red Cross in October 2024. In my home are 2 cats and 1 small dog. For the safety and comfort of all animals involved, doggy day care and boarding is unavailable at this time. I appreciate your understanding! My policies are continued below. **PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING.** ~ My Policies ~ Drop-In Visits Drop-in visits are typically 30 minutes long, but 60-minute visits are also available. During these visits, cats receive food, water, and a litter scoop, while dogs are fed and walked or let outside to potty. Please specify the duration you prefer and the exact duties you would like me to perform for your pet(s) during this time. House Sitting House sitting services on Rover are billed at a nightly rate. Most clients within a 10-mile radius (10-20 minute drive) request multiple visits throughout the day, along with overnight stays. **However, if you need me to stay in your home full-time (24 hours) without leaving for two or more consecutive days, an additional continuous care fee of $50 per day will apply.** This is because I will be unable to meet with or serve other clients for the duration of your stay. Walks and Potty Breaks Walks are generally 30 minutes, but a 60-minute option is also available. For safety, I can walk a maximum of two dogs at a time. During our meet and greet, please demonstrate how to properly fasten their harnesses and share any commands you use. If your dog tends to pull, especially if they weigh 50 pounds or more, kindly inform me in advance. If you just want me to let your dog into the yard for a potty break, please specify this your booking request and request a drop-in visit instead of a walk. This is because Rover requires a card to be submitted for walks that records the time and distance traveled on the walk--this is inapplicable for potty breaks. Meet & Greets I offer a complimentary meet and greet to every new client, allowing us to get to know each other and to ensure my services align with your pet’s needs. During this visit, we will: - Discuss your pet’s routine, preferences, and any special instructions. - Review home access instructions (entry codes, alarm systems, etc.) - Observe your pet’s behavior and comfort level with my presence. - Confirm the booking rate and answer any remaining questions. Your booking request is reserved for up to 48 hours after the initial meet and greet. If payment is not submitted within this time period, I must archive your request so I remain visible in Rover’s search results. **This means your requested time slot will remain open to other clients.** Please note, I cannot hold reservations without a confirmed booking, as my schedule fills up quickly, particularly around the holidays. Drop-In Test For pets, especially those with special needs, high anxiety, or who have no previous experience with sitters, I offer a drop-in test. The drop-in test is a discounted drop-in visit to see how your pet responds to my presence alone in your home. This test is an assessment of their comfort level, and an early opportunity to evaluate my quality as a pet sitter. If the test is successful, with your approval, we’ll move forward with house-sitting. If your needs differ from the care than I can provide, we won’t proceed with the longer booking. Cancellation Policy Cancellations made within 24 hours of the booking start time are eligible for a full refund. Canceling a stay any time after that will incur Rover’s cancellation fee. ~ My Schedule ~ I am currently working from home, so I am usually available for drop in visits, dog walking, and house sitting any time with a minimum notice of 1 day. Please check my calendar for daily updates about my availability. House Sitting Routine Please provide written or typed instructions outlining your pet’s regular feeding times and bathroom schedules. I will adjust my routine to avoid conflicting your pet's trained habits. Trust & Safety Building trust with your pet(s) is essential when entering your home, as animals need time to adjust to unfamiliar people, much like we do. For this reason, I do not confirm bookings with new clients without first scheduling a meet and greet. **If your pet has severe anxiety or has ever bitten anyone, please inform me before we proceed with the booking.** If I observe any unusual behavior during the visit, I will provide pictures or a video and request further instructions. If we cannot resolve the issue or I do not receive a timely response, I may contact Rover support to modify or end the booking. Please ensure that your emergency contact and veterinary information are updated in your profile. Additionally, all animals should be free of fleas and ticks and up-to-date on vaccinations (e.g., rabies, FeLV). For privacy and safety reasons, if you are a first-time client, I kindly ask that all meetings and payments stay within the Rover app. I appreciate your understanding. ~ My Guarantees ~ I will always: - Schedule a free meet & greet to see if I’m a good fit for your pet(s) before booking. - Work with you and adjust my schedule to prioritize the needs of your pet(s). - Operate on a first come, first serve basis. I cannot hold slots through the Rover app, so the first to pay gets the stay! - Respond promptly to your messages and provide regular written updates, along with photos and occasional videos of your pets. - Immediately communicate if I notice any unusual behavior, safety issues, or health concerns. - Ensure your home is left in a better condition than I found it, only access permitted areas, and maintain strict client confidentiality. - Care for and love your pet(s) as if they were my own, making sure everyone eats and gets plenty of attention. - Refund you in full if you cancel within 24-hours of your booking start time.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs since I was a kid and was taught to always take care of our dogs first and to treat them like family. Growing up, my family had owned 2 Black Labs and 1 German Shepherd/Lab mix that was a rescue. I fell in love with the rescue dog we had, I had a deep connection with her and she was considered “my” dog growing up. Since living on my own, I now own 2 rescue dogs- my oldest is a Male Norwegian Elkhound/Australian Shepherd mix from West Virginia. In November 2022, I rescued a female Siberian Husky puppy, she is around a year old currently. They are my world, they go on all of my hiking trips with me, spontaneous trips to the beach, and are conquers of the bed. I would love to have the chance to help you take care of yours and treat them as I would my own. I currently work full time, but am flexible with dropping in to see your fur baby once I am off work, I am flexible on the weekends as well. Please let me know anything about your dog that seems important, do they bolt when the door is opened? and if there is any behavioral problems, just so I am aware.

About: I have taken care of my sisters pup for about 3-4 years. She is a big girl and very sweet. I would take her on walks and to the dog parks. Also house sit for her. I am currently changing my work schedule but I’m very flexible. Sundays I am 100% available. Others just need to know at an early notice I have a very clean apartment and a pup of my own to keep company and have play dates. I would treat every pup as if it was my own. Making sure the pup is safe and comfortable at all times and most importantly loved.

About: I've been taking care of my own dogs for my whole life and now being away at college I've been missing the much needed time to visit with pets. I have also been volunteering at Old Dominion Human Society (a dog shelter in Virginia) for a few years. I love caring for animals and can't wait to meet more! I'm home from college for the summer and have open availability all week! I am happy to work with your schedule to provide the best care for your pet! I am happy to communicate with what needs to be done in terms of caring for each pet. I understand that each home will have different rules both for the home and for pets so I will always write these down and am willing to make adjustments if needed.

About: I have years of experience providing loving and reliable care for pets of all ages. Whether it's playful puppies, energetic dogs, or senior pets with special needs. I currently work from home full time! Your pet will have a great amount of my attention including walks and several potty breaks. I can cater to a set routine. I have a large fenced in back yard. I have two dogs who are both very friendly. I also have a studio style basement that has access to the backyard. This is where I work and spend the majority of the day, so I have the ability to keep my dogs separated if that is most ideal! They spend most of their day inside on the upper level on the home.

About: I have been pet-sitting for about 2 years now on and off. I have cared for all kinds of dogs ranging from puppies to senior doggies and even bunnies! I've been an animal lover ever since I was a little girl. I have adopted and owned many different kinds of pets including reptiles, dogs, cats, guinea pigs, ducks, you name it! I am currently working a part time job. Tue, Wed 3-9pm. Thu and sometimes Fri 8:30-3. I am not available on Sundays but always available on Saturdays! In my home, my dogs are very involved in everything I do. I spoil them a lot! I love going on walks, car rides, and playing tug with them. In my clients' home, I treat every pet with love and care and with respect to any instructions I am given.

About: Growing up in a house with a variety of pets taught me that animals aren't just pets—they're family. With a psychology background, I use positive reinforcement to bring out the best in every dog. I'm currently caring for my two middle-aged and senior dogs who need 10 daily medications, so I understand both puppy energy and gentle senior care. As a fellow pet parent and nature lover, I know how important it is to find someone who truly gets it. Your dog will get the same love and attention mine do—because that's what they deserve. I recently left my corporate job to seek a healthier lifestyle. I am in the process of building a business which gives me lots of flexibility to care for your dogs needs at any hour. Early mornings, mid-day, late evenings and even overnight! Just reach out and we will make it work! Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities in their own familiar environment. I keep your home secure with doors and windows properly locked, and I'm mindful of any specific safety concerns you've mentioned about your pet or property. I stick to your pet's exact routine—feeding times, walks, medications, everything—because I know staying consistent helps them feel secure when you're away. It's just me giving your furry friend the one-on-one attention they deserve in the comfort of their own space. I treat your home with the same respect I'd want for mine. I'll handle small tasks like watering plants or bringing in mail, and I always leave everything exactly as I found it. You'll get regular photo updates so you can see your pet is happy and relaxed at home. With experience caring for my two senior dogs who need daily medications and close monitoring, I know how to spot when something's off with a pet's behavior or health. If any concerns come up, I'll contact you right away. Your pet gets the same attentive, loving care I give my own-because home is where they're most comfortable.

She has cared for both dogs and cats, as well as smaller pets like fish, turtles and hamsters. Some of those responsibilities intel feeding, walking, playtime, cleaning up after the animals, handling medications and giving extra love and affection to the pets while the owners are away. She doesn’t just “watch” animals—she genuinely cares for them. Whether it’s getting up early to ensure dogs are walked on time or sending photo to the owners for peace of mind. Mackenzie C.
Star Sitter

“Mackenzie Cush is the most professional and loving caregiver anyone could ever have for their pet. She cared for my two Yorkies for approximately 5 years whenever we traveled for vacation. Most dogs get depressed and refuse to eat when owners are away, but we never worried when our boys were with Mackenzie because they felt as if they were right at home. My boys were kept clean, cuddled, fed, comforted and treated as if they were her very own at all times. Mackenzie is the "Pied Piper" of pet care givers. My boys loved her so much that they would ignore me when I'd go to pick them up. She is very dependable, intelligent and your pets will fall in love her her also because they will be her number one priority. Call Mackenzie!”

Nevaeh N.
“Nevaeh does anything necessary to take great care of your pets while you are away! With loving care Nevaeh took care of our Old Lady dogs, aged 16, as well as our 4 year old chocolate lab. Knowing the needs of very different dogs, Neveah was responsive, hands on and sent updates that kept us both reassured and amused. Lucky is the person that has Nevaeh come take care of your beloved pets!!”

Tiffany K.
“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 Stars – The Best Dog Sitter Ever! I can't say enough wonderful things about Tiffany T! From the moment we met, I knew my dogs were in the best hands possible. Tiffany has an incredible way with animals—calm, loving, attentive, and deeply intuitive. My pups took to her instantly, and that alone gave me so much peace of mind. While I was away, Tiffany kept me updated with the sweetest photos and messages, showing just how happy, relaxed, and well-cared for my dogs were. She followed their routine perfectly, gave them so much love and playtime, and even noticed little things—like when one of them needed a bit of extra cuddling or when their water bowl needed a quick refill. It’s that kind of attention to detail and genuine care that sets her apart. Coming home, I could tell my dogs had a blast and felt completely comfortable. They were happy, healthy, and clearly adored Tiffany. It honestly felt like they had a vacation of their own while I was gone! If you're looking for someone who will treat your pets like family, go above and beyond, and make the whole process stress-free, Tiffany T is the one. She's an absolute gem, and I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my fur babies. Thank you, Tiffany—you’re truly amazing! 🐾❤️”
