“We hired Andru to walk our German Shepherd every day while we are at work, and the first month went great! Andru is super great with dogs and knows how to handle large, strong dogs like ours. He also has a lot of knowledge about dog diets and handling in general. We are going to continue to use him and highly recommend his services!”

About: I grew up raising German Shepherds & Persian cats with my family. I love all babies finned, feathered and furry. Have fostered many cats over the years and have extensive caretaking for senior pets that require medications and extra TLC. My day job is a remote job so my schedule is quite flexible in the daytime and my nights and weekends are free as well for all the NWA pets. I will happily care for your pet in your home as if the home is mine and love your baby the same. Currently have an Airbnb so very familiar with caring for, respecting & keeping your home safe while you are away. Cuddled up on the couch with a snuggly pet and a book, heaven.
“I highly recommend Nate if you need someone to care for and walk your dog. You can tell from his profile that he enjoys outdoor activity and he definitely took my dogs on a good long walk each time. Nate came to my house early each morning to get my dogs out of their crates and he was always on time. This was important to me so not to have them crated too long. Thanks, Nate, for the great doggy care!”

About: I have found joy in animals all my life. I worked at a doggy daycare for a year and loved being able to spend time with both dogs and cats along with other types of animals all day. I now work as a veterinary nurse and I’m unable to spend as much quality time with animals. I’m hoping that I’ll be able to do that with this app. I am able to trim nails, dremel nails, and I can give your babies a bath also. Most days I get home from work at 1:30 and just sit at home I would love to be able to spend that time with animals. I care for animals all day every day and I love it. I have a 14 year old Dachshund and while she is still very active I’m unable to do long walks with her, she gets very tired fast and I will end up carrying her most of the way. We will go on a short walk so she gets some exercise and can potty. She has allergies and takes her medication after her walks because that’s when she gets the most itchy. For the most part we just sit around and cuddle
“Kelie has been great! She came over a couple of times before we left to make sure everything was right and meet the dogs and make me feel more comfortable leaving for so long. She sent me daily updates and pictures to show how they were doing. My girl blue heeler is especially rowdy and needy and Kelie has been super good with her. I will definitely us her again when I need my dogs looked after.”

“Kathy and our Corgie got along great! She showed up every day on time. Took Bree for a good long walk every time. There were several times I had to either add another walk to the day or change something. Kathy was always able to adjust her schedule to be able to help out. I will be calling her again.”

About: What sets me apart from other house sitters is my patient, loving approach to every dog I meet. I have hands-on experience with a wide range of breeds—from tiny Chihuahuas to large German Shepherds—and I understand how to tailor care to each dog’s unique personality and needs. I’m confident in basic training and redirecting unwanted behavior using positive reinforcement. With enough treats and consistency, I truly believe there’s nothing a dog can’t learn! Pet care fits naturally into my daily life—me and my roommate share two cats, Lennox and Sylvia, and they definitely keep us on our toes! Lennox is always digging through the trash like he’s starving (even though they get two servings of wet food a day plus dry food), so I’m often cleaning up his little adventures. They’re totally spoiled, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I love playing with them using lasers and feather toys—they’re a blast and bring a lot of joy and routine to my day. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I try to keep things as close to their normal routine as possible so they feel safe and comfortable. I follow feeding instructions carefully, make sure they get plenty of playtime and attention, and keep an eye on their behavior in case anything seems off. Whether it’s giving meds, scooping the litter box, or just hanging out on the couch for some cuddles, I treat every pet like they’re my own. I know how much animals thrive on routine and love, so I make sure they get both!
About: in elementary school i started my own pet sitting “business” and went door to door offering my services LOL ever since i have been the go to gal for all pet care needs! I am a gentle, patient, empathetic and have experience with cats and dogs of all ages! I work from home full time with a flexible schedule so I am available for drop ins during the day as needed and have more availability on evenings, weekends & holidays! Depending on the pet I will assess how to interact with them. I typically will start by familiarizing myself with the pet, letting them sniff me and begin building trust with them
About: Hi! My name is Kaitlin! I’m originally from Central Arkansas and have lived in NWA now for 4 years. I’ve pet sat mostly for family and friends but would like to expand that. I’ve helped my sister take care of her elderly dogs as well with their different medications. I also love cats and don’t mind cleaning litter boxes. I’ve never met a pet I didn’t like. I currently work in the schools so I most likely can work after 5 pm or on the weekends. It truly depends on the dog’s needs. I live in an apartment and take my pup on regular walks and to the dog park. I will also walk her around the apartment complex and use the trails.
About: Lifelong animal lover with hands-on experience caring for dogs of all sizes, from energetic large breeds to tiny companions. As a current pet parent to a Siberian Husky and caregiver for a very small Siamese cat, there is daily practice managing different needs, temperaments, and energy levels under one roof. This background supports providing calm, confident care tailored to each pet’s size and personality. Pet care already is a part of my daily routine, so being able to extend that to other animals/families in the community is rewarding. I currently am in-between full time roles as I was a part of corporate layoffs in the past quarter, so my time is quite flexible. Consistency and intentionality are what I’ve always leaned on when working with animals, whether they be my own or others. Your home should be left better than when I arrived.
About: I have taken care of cats and dogs since childhood. I have experience with puppies, seniors, and giant breeds. I am the go-to gal amongst my friends and family when it comes to pet care! I am currently working part time but have an extremely flexible schedule. I am looking to stay busy and move towards full time pet care. My top priority is your pet’s safety and happiness. I am dedicated to creating a calm, positive environment where your pet feels confident and loved.
About: Hello!! •• NO dogs that are or may be cat aggressive. We are currently fostering kittens•• I know what it is like to have to travel and to leave my pet at a kennel- A cold 3-5 cement cell, usually left in the dark. I'd like to offer my home, my time, and a family to comfort your loved one. (I am so grateful that we now have options like Rover where our pets can stay with families in a home setting!) We have a large fenced yard. We are a very active family that enjoys taking our dogs for hikes, walks, car rides, and spending time with them as they are a part of the family. I grew up with all sorts of animals. My mom was a wildlife rehabilitator and has rescued animals for as long as I can remember. As an adult, I have had a small rescue farm and have a lot of experience with different animals. We mainly took in horses, but I had everything from turkeys, chickens, guineas, goats, and even lizards. Due to my experience with rescuing neglected and abused animals, I'm truly grateful for people who genuinely care for their pets and who use services like this. I was a certified veterinary assistant. I decided to take courses to become one after finding out my dog needed both her knees replaced. (Zooey, "blue" & tan GS, who has since passed.) I felt by doing so, I could better tend to her and help other animals that we might take in. I have worked in veterinary offices and I did my externship with Spay Arkansas (another awesome program, located in Springdale, AR). I currently work in a more corporate environment but work from home. I have had dogs of all shapes, sizes, and breeds, growing up. My longest-lived pet was my 18-year-old Border-collie-mix, named Saidy, who passed on my 27th birthday- she used to go everywhere with me and was my best friend growing up (there's a picture of her, me, and a barn cat in one of my photos when I was about 8). I know it sounds crazy to some, but to me, she was my guardian angel. I am taking a bit of a personal break from the corporate world after a layoff. I've worked in the tech industry as well as in various management positions and needed a moment to slow down the pace. Being around animals is something that brings me great peace. We do have 2 cats and I occasionally foster cats for our local cat rescues- so I'd prefer dogs that are not cat-aggressive. I also do have a 21-year-old son who enjoys having the extra company around. My son's dog Rufus is a doodle of sorts who is 11. He is neutered. Rufus takes a few minutes to sniff and get used to new pups and allow them to sniff him, so we like to introduce slowly and allow both to get comfortable- introducing a new dog to an unfamiliar home can be scary for them on top of having a big dog come over and sniff them, which is why I like to do introductions with leashes on. I require any dog that we watch to be up to date on vaccines and parasite-free. This is for my pet's protection as well as your own and other pets who come to visit. Please, even if you decide to go with someone else, check their policy on vaccinations. Parvo stays in the environment for a while and is hard to rid of. It is exceptionally dangerous to younger pups. Distemper is another concern, there is no cure for it. I have personally seen animals pass from these two preventable diseases, it is not a good way for them to go- so please, make sure that your sitter checks that all dogs coming into the environment are vaccinated. For more info. on parvo.: https://www.vet.cornell.edu/departments-centers-and-institutes/baker-institute/our-research/animal-health-articles-and-helpful-links/canine-parvovirus Info. on distemper: https://www.vet.osu.edu/about-us/news/frequently-asked-questions-about-canine-distemper I also request that you provide food; as it helps prevent an upset stomach. If your pet has a favorite blanket or toy, please bring that along as well- I find sometimes it helps comfort them- this can be especially important for senior dogs. ID tags, collars, and a leash are also always a good idea. I prefer to only take on 1 family pet(s) at a time (unless an emergency arises with one of my regulars and it is ok with both parties) and do not sit multiple people's pets at a time- I would prefer for the experience to be as stress-free for all parties.. my pets and yours. This is not a competition for clients for me, I know we live in a very sell-yourself time, but pets live in reality- and they know who they do and don't mesh with-- I encourage meet and greets to ensure that everyone is a perfect fit! Just like people, all dogs are different and not everyone is a perfect match- pick someone who you and your pet feel comfortable with, whether that's me or someone else, that's what is important. Our pets are like family, although I am awesome, it's ok to be choosy (and you should be). I do have a large dog, and some dogs are scared of large dogs. I also have a cat and at times, foster cats. My "regulars" usually get priority so no hard feelings, many of them I have sat for years and their pets are like family too. At this point, I primarily only sit for my regulars who keep me pretty booked up- not all days are listed on the calendar so reach out to me if needed. I love meeting new people, especially meeting people who love their pets as much as I love mine, love watching, and being around animals, and I enjoy feeling like I'm able to provide a much-needed service- that I too can utilize with my own pets- but at the end of the day, go with your gut. :) I offer 10% off rate if you are a senior, veteran, or student (with ID). Discounts for my regular clients. I try to remain affordable, I know people are falling on hard times right now- so if you have a situation, I am willing to lower cost and try to work out something that is affordable to you, especially with longer stays which add up quickly. I work from home. We treat anyone's pets as they are our own and as they are family. We try to make it a fun stay for them and if it's OK for them we take them on walks. We treat pets as if they are own pets and how we would want our pets to be treated if we were out of town.
About: I am an active walker and have always loved animals! I grew up with dogs and have babysat other peoples dogs before there was “Rover”. Every animal has a story and a personality and I’m very receptive and would love to just be a calming fun energy that gets added to their lives once in a while. I think that if you were to ask anyone that knows me they would say I’m the right one for the job because I cry more when animals die in movies than people.. lol. I am currently looking for a remote job so I have plenty of time right now, but even when I do get a day job I want to continue with pet care! I am a very honest and loyal person of integrity and I believe in respecting peoples property and treat all animals with kindness and love. Where I live there is also a large back yard and a great walking neighborhood.
