We hired Andru to walk our German Shepherd every day while we are at work, and the first month went great! Andru is super great with dogs and knows how to handle large, strong dogs like ours. He also has a lot of knowledge about dog diets and handling in general. We are going to continue to use him and highly recommend his services!

About: I grew up surrounded by animals—especially dogs—and have been comfortable with them for as long as I can remember. My family bred and trained dogs, so I’ve had hands-on experience with everything from energetic puppies to older dogs needing a gentler pace. While I don’t hold formal training certifications, I’m confident, calm, and know how to be both a caring and authoritative presence around dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I’m also very active, which means your dog will get plenty of exercise, play, and attention. Whether it’s long walks, playtime in the yard, or keeping a watchful eye on a senior pup who just wants some quiet companionship, I tailor my care to what your dog needs most. I’m currently in graduate school with my classes mostly online. I’m available most days Sunday-Saturday. Afternoons and evenings work best for me, however my schedule is very flexible! Don’t hesitate to reach out with any schedule needs and I’ll can see what I can work out! When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always respect their routines and the pet’s unique needs to ensure a smooth, stress-free experience. I stick closely to feeding schedules, walk times, and any special instructions provided, and I keep the home clean and secure while you're away. For dog walks, I focus on safety, exercise, and engagement—making sure your dog gets the activity and attention they need while staying hydrated, and happy. Whether I’m stopping by for a quick walk or staying overnight, I treat your dog and your home with the same care and respect I’d want for my own.

Kelie has been great! She came over a couple of times before we left to make sure everything was right and meet the dogs and make me feel more comfortable leaving for so long. She sent me daily updates and pictures to show how they were doing. My girl blue heeler is especially rowdy and needy and Kelie has been super good with her. I will definitely us her again when I need my dogs looked after.

About: My profile says eight years experience. That reflects the time I have been in Northwest Arkansas and periodically taking care of my Granddogs Rock and River, and my neighbor's dog Lucy. Periodically, since a kid, have cared for all kinds of pets including blind and sick cats, and stray dogs. I am reliable, disciplined and pay attention to detail. if I am in your home I guarantee to take care of it and leave it in as good or better shape than I found it. I am very fit and active for my age and enjoy walking dogs. They get their steps in and I do too. It's win, win! Honestly, it hasn't fit into my routine "daily or weekly" mainly lately because I haven't had a fence up around my home and had been working full-time. Normally have cared for my neighbors dog Lucy across the street. They appreciate the fact that I can stay there with her all night and for extended periods as she is recovering from surgery. Now that I have my fence up I will be able to also offer boarding for select animals.

About: I've taken care of dogs of every kind since I was 10. Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed and bathe their pets, and for the last 7 years I've also owned and raised my own Cane Corso, so I'm very comfortable with large and strong breeds. I know how important routine, exercise, and patience are for a dog's wellbeing, and I treat every pet in my care like my own. I have a flexible schedule, so I have plenty of time to give your dog attention and exercise. I'm generally available for walks/boarding/drop-ins on weekdays and weekends (at any time), and I try to keep a consistent routine so your pup feels comfortable and secure while in my care. I have a Cane Corso of my own who I've raised for 7 years, so I'm very experienced with large, strong breeds and know how to read their body language and keep introductions calm and safe. I always keep a close eye on pets in my care, stick to a consistent routine for feeding and walks, and make sure the environment is calm and secure so every dog feels comfortable and safe with me.

About: I’m a former veterinary assistant with nearly 3 years of experience caring for dogs and cats of many ages and personalities. I’ve worked with everything from playful puppies to senior pets who need a little extra patience and support. I’m comfortable giving medications, watching for any signs of illness, and helping pets feel calm and safe in new situations. I truly enjoy building trust with each pet and keeping their routine as consistent and stress-free as possible while you’re away. I work part-time, which gives me flexibility to provide attentive pet care throughout the week. I’m typically available for morning and evening visits on weekdays, with more open availability on weekends. I make sure to keep my calendar updated and only accept bookings I can fully commit to, so each pet gets consistent care, attention, and timely visits. I prioritize each pet’s safety and comfort by following their usual routines and any specific instructions closely. In clients’ homes, I respect their space while ensuring pets feel secure and cared for. I keep a clean, calm environment, monitor pets closely during walks or visits, and provide updates with photos so owners feel confident their pets are in good hands.

About: I grew up raising German Shepherds & Persian cats with my family. I love all babies finned, feathered and furry. Have fostered many cats over the years and have extensive caretaking for senior pets that require medications and extra TLC. My day job is a remote job so my schedule is quite flexible in the daytime and my nights and weekends are free as well for all the NWA pets. I will happily care for your pet in your home as if the home is mine and love your baby the same. Currently have an Airbnb so very familiar with caring for, respecting & keeping your home safe while you are away. Cuddled up on the couch with a snuggly pet and a book, heaven.

About: I have found joy in animals all my life. I worked at a doggy daycare for a year and loved being able to spend time with both dogs and cats along with other types of animals all day. I now work as a veterinary nurse and I’m unable to spend as much quality time with animals. I’m hoping that I’ll be able to do that with this app. I am able to trim nails, dremel nails, and I can give your babies a bath also. Most days I get home from work at 1:30 and just sit at home I would love to be able to spend that time with animals. I care for animals all day every day and I love it. I have a 14 year old Dachshund and while she is still very active I’m unable to do long walks with her, she gets very tired fast and I will end up carrying her most of the way. We will go on a short walk so she gets some exercise and can potty. She has allergies and takes her medication after her walks because that’s when she gets the most itchy. For the most part we just sit around and cuddle

About: I've been walking and checking in on friends' and family's dogs for years. I never got to have my own growing up, so dogs have always had a special place in my heart. I'm reliable, easy to communicate with, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with every dog I meet. I'm new to Rover but I'm serious about building something here and I will always show up for your pup! I work full time during the week, but I have availability in the evenings and on weekends and enjoy staying active during my free time. I understand that trusting someone with your pet is a big deal, so I do my best to be flexible, communicative, and reliable. My goal is to make pet care as easy and stress free as possible while making sure your pet gets the attention and care they deserve. I currently offer walks and drop in visits so your pet can stay comfortable in the environment they know best. I take being trusted in someone else’s home very seriously and always aim to be respectful, organized, and attentive while caring for your pet. I know every animal has different needs, and I always make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away.

I have a 10yr old American Pit Bull Terrier named Gunner. And we rescued a female Lab/ Pit mix, we named Mocha. I like to think of them as fur babies. I have a 2 sons too. About: I’ve worked with dogs for over a decade. I’ve worked for a few doggy daycares, one that I was with for 13 years. I truly love dogs. I have two dogs myself, Hollyhock and Lemonhope and they are my world. I’m looking to start walking dogs around the area. I’m also an artist and my main focus is usually doggie related art! Currently working part time, and just looking to walk some puppers in my free time! On Wednesday-Friday I’m busy during the day BUT I can do evening walks! The rest of my days are pretty much open! I can get access to extra collars, leashes and harnesses for walking however it would be easier if you provided your own as different dogs wear different sizes.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
