“Barnabas is hands down the best I’ve found on Rover. He watched my three dogs (including two puppies that are still working on potty training) for 10 days and took excellent care of them. When I arrived to drop them off, one of the pups had gotten carsick all over himself and the other pup, and Barnabas was not phased by this, saying he’d just give them a bath. He sent regular photos and videos and seemed to genuinely enjoy caring for my dogs. I have avoided men as dog sitters in the past because I have female who is leery of men, bus she warmed right up to Barnabas with no issues. And his dog Cerberus is a gentle giant who did wonderfully with my dogs as well. We will definitely contact Barnabas again!”

About: I'm a colon cancer survivor which fur babies have helped me through a lot I'm all about them and taking care of them because they have been all about me throughout my sickness.... Now that I'm a little better I want to give back to the unconditional creatures that gave to me in a time of need...I've had Weimaraners in my household for over 15 years and have had other fur babies and animals before that throughout my life, this chance that I could have to provide the love and care for the parents of those fur babies that need it. I'm knowledgable in first aid, CPR, special needs, and can administer medications. I'm truly here to just spoil your pets, soak in some luvins, and give you peace of mind while you're gone! I'm all about treats, pets, play time, cuddles... they will have their own fabulous vacation, I promise! I work Monday through Friday during normal business hours in the office, with occasional work from home days available. My daughter is home schooled, so home during weekdays. Let us know what you need. Communication is key. I will always meet before you head out. I need to know what their schedules and environment look like and establish a positive relationship in their parents' presence. I'd love to see you use typical key words, gestures, and familiar interactions to gauge your pets needs. All pets should be up to date on vaccinations. I will continue any training and special care while you're away. A list or note is always an easy way to make sure your baby gets the best treatment possible.

She’s a very high-energy dog who needs lots of attention and activity, and they gave her exactly that. it felt like Suki was on her own vacation too! 😂 They also continued working on her training and she followed thru with the commands she knows. It was so reassuring to know she was not only being cared for, but also getting plenty of structure and attention. “Barnabas is hands down the best I’ve found on Rover. He watched my three dogs (including two puppies that are still working on potty training) for 10 days and took excellent care of them. When I arrived to drop them off, one of the pups had gotten carsick all over himself and the other pup, and Barnabas was not phased by this, saying he’d just give them a bath. He sent regular photos and videos and seemed to genuinely enjoy caring for my dogs. I have avoided men as dog sitters in the past because I have female who is leery of men, bus she warmed right up to Barnabas with no issues. And his dog Cerberus is a gentle giant who did wonderfully with my dogs as well. We will definitely contact Barnabas again!”

“Chuck took exceptional care of my dog, Ella. She is a senior dog with some recent health issues and he was so good with her..she requires medications and he made sure she got what she needed. She’s also not used to a lot of people other than family and hasn’t been boarded for several years so she was pretty whiny and clingy for the first few days but she settled in. I so appreciate his patience with her. I would 💯 recommend Chuck for pet sitting! Five stars!!”
