Periodically, since a kid, have cared for all kinds of pets including blind and sick cats, and stray dogs. I am very fit and active for my age and enjoy walking dogs. They get their steps in and I do too. It's win, win! Honestly, it hasn't fit into my routine "daily or weekly" mainly lately because I haven't had a fence up around my home and had been working full-time. Normally have cared for my neighbors dog Lucy across the street. They appreciate the fact that I can stay there with her all night and for extended periods as she is recovering from surgery. Now that I have my fence up I will be able to also offer boarding for select animals.

I now work as a veterinary nurse and I’m unable to spend as much quality time with animals.
