About: Life long animal person, from a young age I took care of farm animals like chickens, goats, pigs, sheep, cats. In my adult life i got a dog. I love working and learning with my dog. A few years ago I started volunteering and fostering through the Berrien county animal services. I truly love fostering and the difference it makes! I plan to foster for a long time. I have strict boundaries on the quality of care I want to provide so I do not take on more than I feel comfortable with. providing a safe emotional environment for your pets is my top priority I have a big yard with a small portion fenced in. I utilize the fenced in area for play and hanging out with dogs. I love hanging out with the pets inside also, I have raised beds set out in the house for relaxing and plenty of couches the dogs are welcome to enjoy. I use crates and gates in the house for peace of mind and relaxation when I am out of the house.

Enzo always has such a great time at Summer’s house! He gets ample exercise, running around the yard with Finn but also out on walks with Summer and her dogs. Summer takes care of Enzo like her own. She’s always so communicative and raises any concerns if she notices behavior is off. I ended up getting stuck for an extra day out of town due to weather and summer was gracious enough to keep Enzo for an extra day.
