“Hanna was absolutely fantastic with my 2 dogs! She was attentive to all of my requests as a dog parent, she sent constant picture updates of them having fun, and she returned them to me in wonderful spirits and cleaner than before. For anyone in need of a dog sitter, look no further. She is a reliable and wonderful caretaker.”

“Olivia was awesome for our pug! She sent pics, updates, and was flexible with our drop off and pick up times. Very professional! Also, Taco came home smelling way better than when he arrived there : ) We would use Olivia again in a heartbeat!”

“Christina is awesome! Because of my job, sometimes my requests are super last-minute. She’s been awesome with working around my schedule. My pup had a blast at her place and came home exhausted. She will continue to be my go-to sitter!”

“Leandra and Mark did an amazing job with our puppy. They are so personal with clients. They took such good care of our baby. I definitely will book again. Their availability is great especially for a puppy. They love playing with the puppy. They treated our puppy like he was their own. I look forward to them watching him again soon!”

“When I came across Rover and what it was all about, I was positive that this would be a site I would never use. Allowing someone else to care for my dog in their home, was an uncomfortable concept to me. However, when I had a vacation scheduled, and my go-to dog boarding center was booked, Rover was the only option. Clara's name was mentioned to me by another Rover user who was not able to dog sit my exact dates needed. When I messaged Clara, she replied within 5 minutes saying "YES! I will take care of your dog." No questions asked. She lives about 30 minutes from where I am located in Kzoo, but trust me when I say she is worth the drive. Her house is immaculate, and she has other wonderful pups, a horse and great fenced in greenspace outside. We received pictures and a brief summary of our dog every day. Throughout my vacation, I never worried once about my dog. Clara's first impression made me feel like my dog was immediately apart of her pack. I 1000% recommend Clara for boarding.”

“Luke and his family went above and beyond caring for our Yogi. They have a large fenced in backyard and a host of other animal friends that Yogi fell in love with. Our Yogi has a tendency to pee on himself vs the ground and they bathed him before pickup. My toddler wouldn’t stop asking us to smell the dog on the way home. Thank you Luke and family! We will use you every time we need to head West to Wisconsin.”

“Andrew & Jane took great care of my Tia. It was much nicer than boarding her at a kennel where she would spend most of her day stuck in a kennel. I appreciated the daily updates and pics.”

“Daisy was the happiest I've ever seen her with someone else taking care of her. Emily is a treasure that I found. I'll be using her often. Thank you Emily! And her dogs were awesome with Daisy!”

Always looking for opportunities to build community and knowledge around animals and people! I work part-time very close to home. I pride myself on prioritizing quality time to animals in my care. I have strict boundaries on the quality of care I want to provide so I do not take on more than I feel comfortable with. providing a safe emotional environment for your pets is my top priority I have a big yard with a small portion fenced in. I utilize the fenced in area for play and hanging out with dogs. I love hanging out with the pets inside also, I have raised beds set out in the house for relaxing and plenty of couches the dogs are welcome to enjoy. I use crates and gates in the house for peace of mind and relaxation when I am out of the house.

“Lynnette provided excellent care for our dog while we were away for the weekend. She is very thorough and professional in her approach to care, and her home had a wonderful set up to make our dog's stay comfortable. Very quick response times on all communication and we received lot of updates and pictures to confirm he was having a good time. Highly recommend!”

“This was the first time I left my puppy. Even though I texted to check on him way more than I should have Nicholas never got upset and kept me updated with videos and answered whatever questions I had. Beaux was with him four nights. I would use him again and definitely recommend”

“Our usual sitter couldn’t take our sweet boy during an extended trip, but thankfully we found Leigh Anne! Upon picking up our pup, he ran back to her with no hesitation to say bye which shows how comfortable he really was there. We also got him back freshly groomed and bathed! Usually we have to bathe him after a stay somewhere, so this was an amazing change of pace! We will absolutely use Leigh Anne again; if not for boarding, for grooming!”

“Victoria took really good care of Beans, kept me updated and always responded to my messages quickly. She was kind and had a great environment for pups. She took her for walks and let her sleep with her in the bed. Beans had a great time there!”

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
