“As always Jasper loves to be at Debbie’s when we go away. He gets very excited when we turn onto her driveway! She is great and takes very good care of him. Jasper loves his other doggie friends that he gets to play with while he is there. There’s even a picture of him “spooning” with a friend while taking a nap! Adorable! I would highly recommend Debbie to watch your dog!”
“Mandy and her family has been wonderful for Lala’s first time with them. Lala seems very comfortable with them and we feel she was well look after. Will definitely reach out again to them if we ever need help.”
“Amber was amazing with our fur babies. This was our first time ever leaving our dogs with anyone, so we were super nervous. She made us feel so comfortable by assuring us they would be in good hands. For every day they were away from us, she sent us photos and made sure to let us know about their day. Our pups had such a good time. You can tell in the photos, they felt right at home.”
“I can't recommend Megan highly enough! She was the perfect fit for our energetic mini Aussie and I loved all the daily pictures and updates about what Logan was getting up to. We will definitely use Megan again!”
“We needed to arrange this at the last minute and she was very flexible. Sent us an update every couple hours and was very attentive. Very friendly and Sophie had a wonderful time.”
“Daniela was absolutely amazing. I will 100% be booking with her again. Hampton was taken care of like he was her own dog, she sent me updates, and communicated perfectly. I felt comfortable the second I met her, Hampton has a new best friend. He misses her already. Thank you Daniela!”
“Erin is awesome. We have a Golden who gets very anxious and likes to be near a human at all times. Erin took amazing care of our dog. Excellent communication with us. Beautiful fenced yard & our dog had a blast playing with her dog. Highly recommend and have already made another booking.”
“She had been amazing to my dog and met up several times. My dog adore her. She’s great taking care of my dog while I went on vacation. She really gives me peace of mind. Highly recommended. She sent me videos and pictures. Definitely will be it interesting booking with her again”
“Hailey did an amazing job with Kylo. We were worried about leaving him since he has never been to a new place with us. She did such a great job with him and sent us photos of his stay. He felt we didn't have to worry at all. We are so happy we chose Hailey to watch our family member. We recommend her to anyone who wants to feel carefree when they have to leave their pet behind.”
“Very caring and very professional. I knew when I met her that my dog was in good hands. He’s never been away overnight with someone else. He handled it well because it’s obvious she loves animals and knows how to take care of them. Highly recommend.”
“Dannah and her dog Elphie are the best sitters! Dannah is very communicative and trustworthy. My dog is now best buddies with Elphie. She gets lots of exercise and attention when she stays with them. I always feel my dog is safe and well cared for. Dannah sends daily photos and videos of the dogs playing and cuddling together!”
“Jennifer was absolutely fantastic with our anxious, energetic girl. She updated us daily and sent some many pictures during her stay with her. Jennifer is so responsive and sweet and I could tell our girl loved her and her family.”
“Adam was wonderful with Scout! I was a little nervous about boarding him since he usually stays with family, but Adam and his family truly made it feel like he was staying with relatives of his own. He sent regular updates and pictures throughout Scout's stay, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Every photo showed Scout looking happy, comfortable, and cozying up to everyone. It was clear he was getting plenty of attention and affection. When we picked Scout up, he was happy, healthy, and clearly well cared for. Adam made it so easy to relax and enjoy our vacation knowing Scout was in great hands. We're incredibly grateful for the care he provided and would absolutely trust him with Scout again in the future!”
“I was leaving for a night and needed someone to watch Brooklyn at the last minute. Nicole was very caring and responsive. I received pictures of Brooklyn throughout her stay. Brooklyn even was taken to the dog park. I would totally reccomend and use her services again.”
“Our dog Ginger stayed with Sarah for the weekend when we had a family wedding that brought us to the area. Sarah was super quick to respond to all communication which was really nice and made me comfortable. She sent updates, photos and was flexible with timing adjustments. More significantly, Ginger went right up to Sarah and felt relaxed and comfortable —she walked inside without pining for me. Even when I arrived to pick up Ginger, she must have enjoyed her stay as she didn’t rush right back to me.”
“Alex was Phenomenal with our sweet girl! We constantly got updates, pictures and videos of our baby girl having a blast. Georgie didn't want to leave when it was time to go haha. I 100% recommend Alex and we will for sure be using her services again.”
“Celestia and Ryan were absolutely great. They accommodated my last-minute trip and boarded my dog Rocky for two nights and three days. They sent me pictures and videos, which ease my worries. Rocky had the best time. I will definitely be using them again. Thank you so much Celestia and Ryan.”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Benton home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Benton.
<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Benton sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
