“This lady is awesome. She took great care of my boys and my other pets as well (sugar gliders and turtle). She was responsive and gave daily updates with pictures. I also had so much appreciation for her because on our way back from our trip, our flight was canceled, and she was able to still pop in on the crew and make sure they were ok and fed, we couldn’t have been more thankful for her. She will be at the top of our list should we have to go away again and I would highly recommend her if you need someone to looks after your fur babies. Thank you Katie!!”

About: Hi!! I am a senior at ECU and my family and I just moved to the Raleigh area from New York. I have been sitting for a little over three years and have experience with all ages, sizes and breeds. I love being outside and active, and going on walks is one of my favorite things to do. I also don’t mind picking up after the dogs. (Someones gotta do it lol). My family has had 2 dogs of our own but both are no longer with us anymore. I am a morning person and like starting my days quite early so any of you need anything in the morning, I would love to help! I absolutely adore dogs and everything about them! Any time there is one in the room I am drawn to it and it gets my undivided love and attention. Most of my family and friends call me the dog whisperer because all dogs love me too! I can keep your gates and doors locked while we are inside. Make sure the dog is always on a leash before opening a door for a walk.

About: I’ve pet sit for dogs and cats for 3 years now! My friends, family and neighbors can always rely on me to care for their pets! I currently work 2 part time jobs. Wednesday- Friday I work in the mornings from 7am-2pm and Saturday- Tuesday I work 4pm- 11pm. So although I might be very busy I will always make time for your pets! I am able to feed them, bathe them, brush them, take them on walks, let them out for potty breaks and would love to play with them!

About: I've taken care of dogs since I was little! I've always loved animals and wanted to take on the responsibility of caring for them. Whether this was my next door neighbors or my own, I was always up for the job! I own a mini horse (my 1 year old saint bernard), 1 inside only cat, and 2 outside cats. As for work, I am a fourth grade teacher and have the patience and enthusiasm to be the pet sitter you need. I am currently out for summer break as an elementary teacher. My schedule is very open and flexible. I will be home full time until mid August. Once I go back to work, I will still be able to board animals at my house. However, it is important for them to be crate trained as I plan to have them crated during the day - at least in the beginning. This will more than likely change as I get to know the animal more and how they interact with my animals! It's essential for the animals to feel safe in a place they are unfamiliar with and around animals they do not know! Please know that when I arrive home, they will receive plenty of enrichment through attention, daily walks, and play time with me or other dogs. I have a fenced in backyard that connects to another fenced in yard belonging to my parents and their two dogs. These areas are closed off unless I want the dogs to have some play time. All 3 dogs, including my own, are very sweet and get along well! Dog can be easily crated if needed, I own a large crate with a lot of room. As for your home, I will treat it like it's my own and love your pets like they are my own. Animals provide a nice change from the chaos that goes on in the everyday life of a teacher. I look forward to taking your fur baby on walks, providing enrichment, and cleaning litter boxes or other pet related needs!
