About: My late dog Casey (d. May 2026) was dog-reactive, and I found out firsthand how hard it is to find a dogsitter without any personal pets or other clients in the home for dogs like her when I travel. I always had at least one dog and cat in the home growing up, but Casey taught me how to set animals up for success by accepting them as they are and adjusting to their needs-- medical, emotional, and physical. For dog boarding, I would like to use my house and fenced-in yard to give other pets a quiet respite when their owners need to travel-- walks, naps, and play included-- and give owners the peace of mind that their pet is somewhere comfortable and safe when they are away. I sanitize and clean my house thoroughly after each pet's visit and pick up the dog poops from my yard to reduce any illness spread between dogs. For housesitting, I would treat your pet and house as I would want my own to be treated if a sitter stayed-- as it was left if not cleaner. On weekends, your pet will have my full attention. Any errand outside of the house I need to run is less than an hour. I will take cues from your pet and your directions on how to occupy your pet's day. On weekdays, I work a 8-to-4 job with flexibility. I typically wake at 6:30AM, return around noon to check on pets + give attention/walk, and stay home after work. Depending on your pet's needs, we can burn off energy or unwind together before I ensure that your pet is settled in for the night with my bedroom door open for nighttime access. As someone whose late dog who had medical and social needs, I will follow your care instructions for your pet in activities, mealtimes, and other concerns, along with medicine administration if needed. I will not be leaving your pet alone in the yard; your pet will be kept indoor in A/C with access to the living room and kitchen during weekdays. Please plan to bring some of your pet's comfort items (toys and treats) along with their necessities to ensure they have something from home for boarding. For new clients boarding in my home, I would ask that you are present for at least fifteen minutes when dropping off your pet to allow acclimation to the space and association with me as someone positive while you and I review care instructions for your pet. If meeting in the home is not possible for boarding, a time for your pet to meet me in a Meet & Greet is essential ahead of time. I want your pet's initial time with me to be as stress-free as possible.
“Flora and her family are so sweet, accommodating to a slight change in plans, and overall just fun people. Great yard and clean house in a safe location. We got plenty of pictures and videos in that 36 hours. You can tell our pups were loved like their own! Our dalmatian and Newfoundland had a great time with Dixie, Tango, and their other booking Steve. We are in the area for a couple more months and just wish we had used her sooner! About: I have always had a pet growing up. I used to have cats when I was little and then eventually turned to dogs. Currently back at home I have three dogs that I love so so so much. Here in Greenville I share custody of a dog, Saint, with my boyfriend. I love to walk so that is no problem for me when it comes to walking dogs. I also worked as an assistant for almost two years where one of my main priorities was taking care of her pitty :) I currently work part time so my availability is pretty open! I spend a lot of my time outside on walks, so it only makes sense that I open the door to including pets on my walk. I do stay in an apartment so I don't have yard space for pets, but I am willing to drive to dog parks or walking trails. I also don't mind going to other peoples home to care for their animals.
“Ashley and family were great! If I could give her 10 stars I would. We planned a weekend in Rocky Mount and booked boarding for our dog at a local boarding place. We dropped her off and before we left they let us know she was too anxious and would not be able to tolerate the whole weekend there. We tried one other boarding facility and they had a similar set up so I knew she wouldn't be able to stay there either. I found Ashley on rover and messaged her about booking for the weekend last minute. Our dog is very anxious around other dogs which becomes aggression because she gets so worked up. About: My entire life has been endless pet care experience! I have lived with cats and dogs of all shapes, sizes, temperments, and ages. Currently living with my own two dogs and a cat, I understand the need for a trustworthy care taker for my babies. I care about the wellbeing of animals so much, I plan on going to vet school! There is no animal that is too much for me! I can do drop in vists through out the day as I have a few hours scattered through the day between classes and practice. If you needed longer daily walks, I could take your pet out in the morning and leave them tired for the day! About: I am from Colombia and there I had the opportunity to work with him, in a family veterinarian where I learned a lot. Here in the United States I have been taking care of dogs and cats at home several times. It is important, since animals are part of my life and always will be, I also dream of one day having the money to be able to give a good life to several animals that currently live in a shelter. About: In my 5 years of watching animals, I have found a passion in taking the best care of them and making them feel comfortable in their own homes. I have dealt with stressful dogs all the way to the outgoing kinds and know how to comfort them in anyways I can. I also have experience with training puppies and keeping up with them! About: I have an elderly cat, 14 yrs, that i currently take car of along with my 2nd cat. I have experience potty training, pet sitting puppies, and im comfortable cleaning up and walking both cats and dogs. Im currently a master's student at ECU. I’m doing my final semester and will be graduating soon, so I’m currently available whenever you would need my services! About: Hi!! I am a rising sophomore at ECU and my family and I just moved to Garner from New York. About: My late dog Casey (d. May 2026) was dog-reactive, and I found out firsthand how hard it is to find a dogsitter without any personal pets or other clients in the home for dogs like her when I travel. I always had at least one dog and cat in the home growing up, but Casey taught me how to set animals up for success by accepting them as they are and adjusting to their needs-- medical, emotional, and physical. For dog boarding, I would like to use my house and fenced-in yard to give other pets a quiet respite when their owners need to travel-- walks, naps, and play included-- and give owners the peace of mind that their pet is somewhere comfortable and safe when they are away. I sanitize and clean my house thoroughly after each pet's visit and pick up the dog poops from my yard to reduce any illness spread between dogs. For housesitting, I would treat your pet and house as I would want my own to be treated if a sitter stayed-- as it was left if not cleaner. On weekends, your pet will have my full attention. Any errand outside of the house I need to run is less than an hour. I will take cues from your pet and your directions on how to occupy your pet's day. On weekdays, I work a 8-to-4 job with flexibility. I typically wake at 6:30AM, return around noon to check on pets + give attention/walk, and stay home after work. Depending on your pet's needs, we can burn off energy or unwind together before I ensure that your pet is settled in for the night with my bedroom door open for nighttime access. As someone whose late dog who had medical and social needs, I will follow your care instructions for your pet in activities, mealtimes, and other concerns, along with medicine administration if needed. I will not be leaving your pet alone in the yard; your pet will be kept indoor in A/C with access to the living room and kitchen during weekdays. Please plan to bring some of your pet's comfort items (toys and treats) along with their necessities to ensure they have something from home for boarding. For new clients boarding in my home, I would ask that you are present for at least fifteen minutes when dropping off your pet to allow acclimation to the space and association with me as someone positive while you and I review care instructions for your pet. If meeting in the home is not possible for boarding, a time for your pet to meet me in a Meet & Greet is essential ahead of time. I want your pet's initial time with me to be as stress-free as possible.
“Flora and her family are so sweet, accommodating to a slight change in plans, and overall just fun people. Great yard and clean house in a safe location. We got plenty of pictures and videos in that 36 hours. You can tell our pups were loved like their own! Our dalmatian and Newfoundland had a great time with Dixie, Tango, and their other booking Steve. We are in the area for a couple more months and just wish we had used her sooner! “Ashley and family were great! If I could give her 10 stars I would. We planned a weekend in Rocky Mount and booked boarding for our dog at a local boarding place. We dropped her off and before we left they let us know she was too anxious and would not be able to tolerate the whole weekend there. We tried one other boarding facility and they had a similar set up so I knew she wouldn't be able to stay there either. I found Ashley on rover and messaged her about booking for the weekend last minute. Our dog is very anxious around other dogs which becomes aggression because she gets so worked up.
