About: I have taken care of dogs from 2 weeks old to 12 years old. Have checked on bunnies also so willing to do more then just dogs and cats if needed. I’m currently working 7-5 in Sioux Falls but outside of that time frame I will be able to check on your fur babies and on weekends. I will keep their routine as close as normal to possible. I prefer keeping the animals at their own place so they are most comfortable

About: I have had dogs my entire adult life, up to 7 at one time, including a husky. I now only have 1, since I had to move and left the rest with my old roommate (some were his anyway, and I took the one that had chosen me as his human). Every dog I've ever had was properly trained to at least sit on command - with or without a treat. When I had the 7, I could have the pack surround me, and call them one by one for their treat, and only the one called would reach. People have watched my dog's behavior out in public and have aske if I could train their dogs! I have no formal training for dog training, but I did grow up watching Caesar on Animal Planet, and implemented his behavior training techniques with all of my own dogs when they were puppies, or from the time I accepted them in as strays. I have cared for others pets in the past, but not in a professional capacity. I sat for a friend of mine at her house, caring for 3 dogs and a cat. I fed the cat in the morning and at night and cleaned her litter box once a day. The dogs got fed on the same schedule, and spent the majority of the day outside in the fenced back yard unless it was raining. I went outside and threw balls and sticks for them a few times each day, for about an hour or so each time. I currently do not have a job, so I am available full time, any day or time. I have my own dog who prefers to not let me out of his sight, and will cry if I leave him at home alone, so getting a traditional job while living in an apartment is out of the question. With that said, I would need to bring him with me. He is going on 10 years old, and has never met a dog or person he didn't love. I am glad to bring him for a meet and greet before any commitments are made. Every dog has a way to let you know they need something. My dog prefers to attempt cuddles when he needs anything, leaving me playing a guessing game until I get it right. He gets super excited when I get it right! As a senior dog, I leave his food out 24/7, and check it in the mornings when I get up and at night when I go to bed to make sure it's not empty. If I notice that it's empty at any point during the day, I simply refill it. Same with his water. His potty schedule is pretty much the same - first thing in the morning, any time he asks during the day, and then one last trip out at bedtime. I know not every dog can follow this schedule, but I have also had dogs who needed me to set alarms to take them out every hour or two, until they were properly house trained. All I need from you is your dogs schedule.

About: Hi, my name is Ana! I truly believe your pet deserves to be cared for like they are part of the family. I have two dogs of my own, Ziggy and Porky, who love dogs of all sizes and even cats! They are always ready to make a new friend and have some fun. If your pet is older, more independent, or simply isn't interested in playing with other dogs, that's completely okay! Ziggy and Porky are great about giving dogs their space when they need it. I'll make sure your pet feels comfortable, safe, and cared for while still getting the exercise, attention, and activity that's appropriate for them. My availability: Drop in visits: 8am-1:30pm, 5pm and 10pm Walks: 8am-1:30pm House sitting: any day * if your dogs are unfriendly with other dogs I’m only available Friday- Sunday if your address isn't close enough for me to run home Ziggy, porky, and I frequently go on walks to different parks. We travel quite frequently and are always checking different areas out. If you have a preferred area we go that’s ok!
About: I have been lucky enough to be surrounded by animals my entire life. I have experience training therapy dogs, rescue dogs, leash training, and teaching tricks/commands. A strength of mine is I am an avid long distance runner/hiker. So if you have a high energy pet that needs those longer walks I’m happy to oblige! About: I have had experience caring for our family dogs. Since then, I've house sat/taken care of animals for friends & family. I am unable to get a dog of my own right now but grew up with dogs & know how they are family ❤️ My schedule is very open right now. Im here for all the walks, snuggles, and zoomies! My 8 year old daughter is also an animal lover and willing to play and cuddle any and all animals, including reptiles! About: I’ve taken care of many dogs over the years. I have done overnights, check-ins, and dog walking. I have a family dog named Splash who is my whole world, and I have recently moved away and don’t get to see her as often. I work from home on Tuesdays and Fridays, so I can be with your dog all day on those days. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
